Lust System: Monster girl Harem-Chapter 228 - 229 The Royal palace
Chapter 228: Chapter 229 The Royal palace
Ethan was now in a carriage with Maria heading to the palace. He was dressed in a magnificent piece of clothing, and he was glad since he was going to be presented before the queen.
Ethan had never gone close to the Royal palace so this was going to be his first time.
When Ethan was getting dressed, the white piece of clothing around his hands was changed, and he saw his hands.
His right hand had burns that he was sure wouldn’t fade even when the wounds healed, so he was going to keep tying a piece of clothing on his hands, which was somehow interesting to him.
"How are you feeling?" Maria asked. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"I’m fine, except for my hands" Ethan replied.
"You are supposed to be resting, but the queen ordered that if you wake up, you should be brought to the Royal palace immediately," Maria spoke.
"Can I ask why?"
"The queen wants to see you or something else. I have no idea, but I’m sure she’ll make you an offer," Maria spoke.
"An offer, what kind of offer?" Ethan asked.
"To continue staying in the Royal palace, I’m sure you’ll accept but..." Before Maria could finish Ethan cut her off.
"Why the hell would I accept, I’ll just be staying in the royal palace all day for the rest of my life, I’ll be like a maid attending to the members of the Royal family"
"Really...I thought you would be glad to accept, have you seen the Royal palace before?"
"No, but it still won’t change my answer" Ethan spoke.
"Just try not to offend the queen, and explain your reasons if she asks and I might not be there with you"
"Okay"
"Before we arrive, what beast did you fight, do you remember what happened?"
(I didn’t want to interrupt your conversation but don’t tell her you fought a knight, make something up)
’Why? And what the hell do you want me to make up?’
(You can summon the knight now, just tell her you fought an undead warrior)
"If you don’t remember, it’s fine, take all the time you need," Maria said as Ethan took a second to answer.
"It was an undead warrior, not like anyone I’ve heard of; it was more human than an undead and too powerful; it must be because of Vala," Ethan spoke.
"An undead, another question what did you and Vala talk about before we got there?"
"She just told me about her plans to conquer the world, and she wanted to do so 1,000 years ago but was sealed by a human mage with an ancient spell" Ethan replied.
"We’ve spoken to the queen about it and informed the elves, they promised to call us if anything happens so all we have to do is wait as we have no way of tracking her down"
"When you do find her, can I come?" Ethan asked.
"Are you crazy? Last time, we just went to investigate and ended up facing her, and you almost died; now we are going to fight her and hopefully bring her down, and you want to come along? Do you want to die?"
"I would have healed from this and gotten stronger"
"Still no, and besides the mating season is just around the corner, and the academy is going to start with basic spell training and stop the physical training"
"I thought it was going to go on for a month?"
"It depends on the students, and this past week, I was told the students were now comfortable with the training, so it’s time to move to the basic spell training,g," Maria spoke.
"Oh, okay" Ethan muttered as the carriage came to a stop.
"We have arrived," the rider’s voice spoke, and the carriage doors were opened from the outside by guards.
Maria was greeted by the guards since she was well known and all the guards were surprised to see Ethan.
Males were usually brought to the Royal palace, but certainly not by Miss Maria and not in the condition Ethan was, so this was different.
Ethan stepped out of the carriage, also staring at the Royal guards, till he turned towards the palace.
Ethan’s eyes grew wide staring at the royal palace in awe. The building was huge, with tall white pillars standing at the entrance, each pillar was decorated with small beautiful carvings.
The palace itself was bright and shiny, with tall, pointed roofs that glittered in the sunlight. Flags in deep red hung from the balconies, gently waving in the breeze, adding color to the grand structure.
The courtyard in front of the palace stretched wide, filled with green bushes that had been carefully cut into perfect shapes.
There were several fountains scattered around, each one shooting clear water high into the air.
Statues of queens from the past stood proudly in different corners of the garden, their stone faces looking serious and important.
Around the courtyard, royal guards stood perfectly still in neat rows. They wore shiny armor that sparkled in the light, and their swords were strapped tightly to their sides.
Every little detail, from the gold designs on the palace walls to the neatly arranged flowers in the garden, showed just how rich and powerful the Royal family was.
Ethan could hardly believe how grand and impressive it all was, and to think Isabella grew up here.
"Have you changed your mind yet?" Maria asked with a smile on her face.
Ethan couldn’t believe this was how the Royal palace was; even the maids who lived here would be living their best life, but he wasn’t going to do it.
Even if the queen does ask him to stay, he has all kinds of excuses to give.
(If the queen does ask this wouldn’t be bad at all, eating anything you want, banging the queen of the kingdom and probably all members of the Royal family, because I’m sure the queen has sisters and they also have children)
’Still, you’re missing the point, I’ll be stuck here for the rest of my life’
