Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 554: Arielle Meeting Abigail For The Last Time

"I promise I’ll be back before nightfall. This necklace is with me now," said Arielle, holding up a necklace with a red snowdrop pendant.

Ronan pulled Arielle’s face and kissed her lips.

"I love you. I will wait for you here."

Arielle nodded. "Don’t just wait for me. Wouldn’t you like to welcome your sister with something nice?" asked Arielle, making Ronan feel awkward.

"Yes... I... will give it a try," replied the man nervously.

Arielle gave her husband one last hug then turned to Luffy and asked him to take her back to Birwick Mountain. She wanted to finish it all before she could truly return to Northendell completely.

Luffy transformed back into a dragon and allowed Arielle to climb onto his back.

"Are we going back to Birwick?"

"Yes! I want to meet Abigail and pick up Arthur and Irene," Arielle replied then waved her hand to her husband. Ronan kept looking at Arielle who was flying high into the sky with a yellow dragon with pink hues on his body.

"She looks so beautiful," Ronan muttered. He still couldn’t take his eyes off his wife who was flying high into the blue sky.

Arielle returned with Luffy to Birwick Mountain. Using the necklace given by Amadea, she finally entered Birwick Mountain and Luffy lowered her in front of Maxieno’s castle.

Arielle arrived at the same time as Arthur and Irene who left the castle.

"Hello!" She greeted them.

Arielle frowned to see Arthur’s body, which was covered in claw wounds that weren’t too deep. She then approached them to take a closer look.

"What happened to you?" she asked Arthur worriedly.

Otis appeared and greeted Arielle. The girl then returned Otis’ greeting and received information that Maxieno had refused to give Arthur the last drop of elixir of immortality. Apparently, on the night of the full moon yesterday, Arthur’s body felt very hot when Amadea’s curse was lifted.

It was so hot and torturous that Arthur scratched his own skin because he couldn’t stand it. It turned out that his body also tried to get used to Amadea’s power. Both Arthur and Ronan were now able to transform into wolves without worrying about losing their human side during the full moon.

It was the same reaction as Arielle who suffered a lot when she first received her power. As time went on, the excruciating heat began to subside, and this morning all the pain and heat that Arthur had felt had completely gone.

It seemed because Otis scolded Maxieno for taking Arielle’s necklace, the man chose to vent his anger on Arthur and Irene. He chased away Arthur who finally felt calm after hours of being tormented by pain and heat, as well as Irene who could only cry because she didn’t know how to help her father.

Arielle hugged Irene gently. She felt sorry for the girl. Irene had been through a lot. Arielle hoped that after returning to Northendell later, Irene could forget all the bad memories at Birwick Mountain.

"I will take you home today," Arielle said to Arthur and Irene.

"But... what about Ronan?"

"Oh, you don’t have to worry about that. I’ve explained everything to him, but you still have to explain it again. Even though I’ve talked about it many times, Ronan still doesn’t fully believe me," Arielle said in response to Arthur’s doubts.

"I will take both of you away after I meet someone first. Please wait for me and don’t go anywhere."

Arthur nodded his head. "We have nowhere else to go. We will always follow you," he replied.

Arielle patted the old man’s back briefly and led him to the wooden hut where she had lived for a few days before Maxieno decided that Arielle should stay in the castle, so the man could help her learn her power.

After that, Arielle and Otis headed for a place where Abigail was staying. They went with Luffy who was now bigger than before. Even the young boy was able to lift two people at once. He brought Arielle and Otis to a place that they had visited.

It was the part of the forest where the dragon’s lair had been abandoned for a long time. After passing through the same waterfall, Arielle and Otis, as well as Luffy who had transformed back into a human, entered through a cave that was quite humid.

At the end of the cave, there was a dense forest with very tall trees. From a distance, Abigail’s groans were getting clearer and closer. The woman repeatedly whimpered in pain. Her dragon voice echoed throughout the air, making Arielle feel sad.

"Don’t get emotional. Abigail was a powerful dragon before. She can hurt you if you’re not careful," Otis warned Arielle beforehand.

Arielle nodded.

Luffy was waiting near the entrance of the cave because he wasn’t the person Abigail wanted to meet. Besides, he had also been warned by his mother not to approach a female dragon who was about to give birth without permission.

Arielle and Otis turned to a more open part of the forest, and there was a fairly large brown dragon lying there. The exotic color was so beautiful under the sun’s rays. It reminded Arielle how beautiful Abigail’s tan skin looked when she was in human form.

Abigail’s head curled on the ground with Xavier’s head nearby. Arielle shed tears when her eyes accidentally met Abigail’s teary eyes. The dragon’s eyes blinked once, and the tears spilled out of her eyes.

Beside her, there were three eggs under Abigail’s large wings.

"That’s the eggs," said Otis.

Arielle turned back to Abigail who was whimpering in pain. She came closer, and Abigail responded with a nod of her head. Arielle chose to sit on her bent knees near the woman’s face.

"Abigail," Arielle called in a soft voice.

Abigail closed her eyes, feeling very at peace. Arielle’s soft voice felt like a lullaby that made all her pain go away without a trace. Abigail shed tears again when Arielle’s soft hand touched her head.
