Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 279: Coronation Day!
During the coronation ceremony, Arielle sat beside Duke Ambrose in the front row with the higher-ups of the cathedral. The representatives of the royal family also attended the event. The High Priest was giving them mourning prayers in the memory of the royal family who died in the collapse of the Nieverdell palace.
The mourning ceremony was led by Arielle as the last daughter and also the direct family of King Hugo. Arielle sat while hanging her head low in front of the High Priest with several other family representatives behind her.
The priest’s hand touched Arelle’s shoulder while reciting the prayer. When it was finished, the priest helped Arielle to stand up and return to her seat.
After paying their last respects to the royal family, the event continued with Archie’s coronation procession.
The music played beautifully. None of the invited guests made a sound. They all eagerly awaited Archie’s arrival. The cathedral door opened slowly. Everyone inside stood up to respect Archie’s presence.
The man was wearing his oversized clothes with a large blue robe. The cloak had thick white fur around the neck and hung long down to the back. It was the same robe as their father’s and Archie wore it for his coronation day.
After his arrival was announced, Archie walked slowly through the cathedral aisle. As their gazes met, the man gave a playful wink that made Arielle smile.
Archie looked dashing in his new crown. Arielle watched the entire coronation ceremony carefully, moments like Archie reading his oath until the time the man had a king’s crown on his head, were engraved on her mind.
Arielle never believed that the two of them had gotten to this point together. Not long ago, they were still just brother and sister who never greeted each other, acting like they were strangers.
Recalling that time, a gloomy atmosphere surrounded Arielle. It was sad to think about their family who had passed away. Soon, Arielle would go North, leaving Archie with his current responsibilities alone.
The coronation ceremony had been completed. Archie, who has the status of king, would leave the cathedral to greet the citizens of Nieverdell.
In front of the cathedral, Archie stood majestically in front of his open carriage. He waved his hand to greet the cheering citizens of Nieverdell who welcomed him as their new king.
Before departing, he glanced sideways at another open carriage for his sister, Arielle to ride. A priest cleared his throat asking Archie to hurry to go upstairs.
Archie looked back and smiled at Arielle. The man held out his hand to his sister.
Arielle, who didn’t understand Archie’s intention, tilted her head in confusion.
"Accompany me on this carriage," the man asked.
Arielle wanted to refuse, but Duke Ambrose pushed Arielle’s back gently to accept her brother’s invitation.
The cheers grew louder when Arielle accepted Archie’s hand. The girl smiled awkwardly.
"My carriage is in the back," she whispered to Archie.
"I feel lonely when I’m alone. Accompany me before you return to the North."
Arielle just sighed softly. She then nodded, accepting Archie’s request. He helped her to climb up first and sat beside him.
"Wave your hand and say hello to them, Arielle," Archie said in a low voice.
Arielle raised her hand to greet the people who flocked the streets to see their new king. However, as time went on, it wasn’t Archie’s name that was called, but Arielle’s name that was heard.
"Princess Arielle! You are very beautiful!"
"Princess Arielle look over here!"
"Princess Arielle, we met at the bakery!"
"Princess Arielle."
Archie chuckled joyfully, teasing Arielle who suddenly became more famous than him.
"I’m invisible," Archie whispered, waving his hand in the other direction.
"Brother, don’t be like that..."
The man laughed and continued to greet the people they passed by.
Arielle did the same. When she saw one or two people she recognized, Arielle would say that person’s name as a sign of gratitude. All the way from the cathedral to the Ambrose residence, the street was filled with the citizens of Nieverdell who wanted to see their new king in person.
However, that intention was a little forgotten when they saw Arielle for the first time. Archie had been seen in public several times, but this was Arielle’s first appearance as part of the Nieverdell royal family. Just like before, they were fascinated by her beauty.
When they arrived at Duke Ambrose’s castle, Archie helped Arielle get off the carriage. The girl swiftly shifted her gaze to her right when she saw a familiar figure in the crowd.
"Ronan?" she muttered.
The man took off his hood. His mouth was slightly open while looking at Arielle with a fascinated look. He had been following Arielle ever since she came out of the cathedral and his heart was beating really fast when their longing gaze met.
Ronan had truly fallen in love for the second time with Arielle.

Archie’s coronation procession had been completed and all the invited guests were having a party and dinner together at Duke Ambrose’s residence. As long as the palace was under construction, all royal activities were transferred to Duke Ambrose’s residence.
Archie no longer needed to introduce Arielle to the other noble families. Most of them had known her just from seeing her face. It was just that they used to be indifferent and pretended not to know Arielle as a princess because her existence was always ostracized by her own family.
However, at this moment, Arielle was the only child of King Hugo left besides Archie. Therefore, they had been trying to get closer to Arielle.
Archie was no longer a prince. He was the king of Nieverdell. The man had greater responsibilities and parties were no longer a place for him to play with. He only sat on his seat while listening some higher-ups.
The Ambrose Residence became more crowded and there was nowhere for Arielle to hide. From a distance, Duke Ambrose could see Arielle’s discomfort when surrounded by many noble families.
The music changed, one by one the young nobles invited their partners to dance together in the center of the hall. A son’s one of the Duke, ventured himself to invite Arielle to dance with him. Everyone in the hall was amazed at the young man’s bravery.
Arielle, who was invited to dance for the first time, felt uncomfortable with all their attention. She also did not know how to refuse him. Duke Ambrose felt that Arielle would not last long. Her face turned pale, so he decided to help the poor girl.
However, before he separated Arielle from the young man, suddenly the hall door opened wide.
A tall man in a red robe and many badges on his uniform stood proudly in the center of the door. The black mask looked so intimidating that everyone in the hall was silent in shock. So did the musicians who stopped playing their instruments.
"His Majesty King Ronan D. Blackthorn of Northendell Kingdom has arrived!" cried William loudly from behind Ronan.
Arielle smiled broadly at the presence of Ronan in front of her. She released her hand from the grip of a man she didn’t even recognize and walked slowly into the middle of the hall.
Everyone in the hall fearfully looked at the man’s presence. The way he walked intimidated the entire room. Every step he took caught everyone’s attention. Hence, Ronan paid no attention to his surroundings. His gaze was fixed on only one person standing ahead of him.
Even Archie’s presence behind Arielle was being ignored.
Ronan kept walking toward the girl.
Even Arielle who had been standing on the stairs still needed to look up to greet the man. His red eyes sparkled and Arielle could see a smile form on his lips. The mask that the man was wearing only covered half of his face, leaving room for Arielle to know that the man was smiling.
Ronan stretched out his hand, and Arielle accepted the hand with pleasure. He gave a long kiss on Arielle’s knuckles.
"May I have this dance, Princess?"
Arielle gave him a nod.
Archie cleared his throat and gave orders for the musicians to play their instruments. Archie sat back on the throne while telling everyone in the hall to enjoy the party.
Ronan and Arielle walked to the center of the hall, making everyone on the dance floor slowly step aside to make room for the unexpected couple. Some people started whispering to each other and asking about the truth of the rumor that Arielle had been proposed by the king of the North.
However, all these questions just hang around in their mind. They couldn’t find the answers. The music was back on, Arielle and Ronan started to sway slowly along with the music.
One of his hands rested on Arielle’s waist and his other hand gripped the girl’s hand. The two of them swayed left and right with their eyes locked on each other. Both of them were lost in their own world.
"You’re so beautiful," he complimented.
"Thank you, Your Majesty look dashing as always," Arielle replied before Ronan swirled her body slowly with his hands supporting her.
"You’re here?" she asked again.
"To pick up my favorite person in the world," he answered right in Arielle’s ear after the girl’s body came back into his embrace.
Arielle just smiled. "When are we leaving?"
The man kissed Arielle’s lips briefly, making everyone in the hall gasp in surprise. Archie even spilled the wine he was drinking.
"Right now," replied Ronan briefly and lifted Arielle in his arms. The girl screamed in surprise, then laughed seeing Archie who was chasing Ronan who ran away while holding her in his arms.
"Arielle!" Archie shouted Arielle’s name.
"I’ll send you a letter, Brother!" Arielle shouted back while tightening her arms around Ronan’s neck.
And now was the time for her to return to her new home!
To Northendell!

From Gigi:
Finally!
Now, I can wrap up this arc nicely and we can move on to another volume of Arrielle’s and Ronan’s story!
It’s been 5 months since I wrote this story! And this is my first experience writing an English story with snu-snu Chapters in it!
For the next volume, I want to focus on the Northendell curse and the Arielle-Ronan relationship since Arielle was released from her family!
In the next volume, I hope I can polish my writing skill, especially in the snu-snu Chapters. Sometimes, I get blushing too much and overwhelmed when I wrote it, hehe.
Alright... alright... see you again on the next adventure babes!
PS: How do you think about the end of this arc?
