"I heard you were hurt?" someone suddenly asked.

Andrea had no intention of getting up when she heard Archie’s voice from behind the door. The man just walked in and sat on Andrea’s bed. The woman held out her hand. She showed her bandaged hand to him and Archie held the hand gently.

He looked at Andrea, who showed a pitiful expression.

"But it looks like this wound is nothing compared to the wound in your heart, right?" Archie asked her.

Andrea nodded.

"A fight between siblings?"

The woman didn’t reply. Andrea got up and leaned her head against the bed.

"I don’t understand Alexis’ attitude. It feels like he’s starting to change."

"Change?"

Andrea furrowed her brows. "Alexis seems... very protective of Arielle."

"Arielle?"

"Yes, Arielle! Alexis even snapped at me because I put up a fight for myself. You know... Arielle bit me until I bled!"

Archie stopped holding Andrea’s injured hand. He saw the bandage.

"Then... what did you do to make Arielle bite you?"

"Of course I hit her!" Andrea took her hand and crossed her arms. "I hit her head until she bled with the tip of the fan."

Archie took Andrea’s injured hand and held it gently. The man smirked at Andrea.

"You did the right thing, Andrea. Arielle deserves it. That girl should know better than to bit the hand of a true princess like you."

Andrea smiled, then cupped Archie’s face. "Thank you for defending me. You are my true brother, Archie."

"Hmm! And I will always be there for you, Andrea."

Archie rose to his feet. He grabbed the thick blanket folded at the end of the bed and put it on Andrea. "Rest your body first. I’ll be back to keep you company this afternoon."

"Thank you, Archie."

The young man just smiled and then left Andrea’s room quickly.

After closing the door behind him, his broad smile disappeared instantly. Archie turned quickly and then leave the room. He had to hurry before Queen Rosalie started doing something dangerous to Arielle.

Arielle felt dizzy in her head. Tania immediately noticed the princess’s face and made sure everything was fine. Tania was surprised when she felt Arielle’s body starting to feel feverish. The woman rushed to open the cloth bandage on Arielle’s head. The wound was no longer bleeding, but her white hair looked dirty with the bloodstain.

Tania then ordered Sasha to ask for new warm water in the kitchen. Sasha looked hesitant to leave Arielle again. He was afraid that something else would happen while he was gone.

"Sasha, you know the palace kitchen is only one floor away, right? We have to clean the wound immediately before it gets infected," said Tania trying to explain to the child.

"But ...."

"Sasha, I have Tania here who will take care of me. You don’t need to worry," continued Arielle with a gentle smile, reassuring Sasha.

Sasha took off his hat. "I will be right back."

The child ran fast, leaving Arielle’s room. Tania cleaned up the cloth that bandaged Arielle earlier. She also looked for cleaner clothes for the girl to use. But not long after, the door to the room was opened loudly, surprising Arielle and Tania.

They didn’t expect Sasha to come so soon.

"Arielle!" shouted a woman making Arielle get out of bed and then prostrate on the floor.

It turned out that it was Queen Rosalie who came to visit with Annalise. The woman looked very angry with a red face. Tania, who panicked immediately stood in front of Arielle.

"Your Majesty... Princess-"

"Sorry to interrupt your time, Your Majesty. I’m here to teach someone a lesson for daring to hurt Andrea."

"Archie..." Annelise, who had been watching her mother torture Tania and Arielle, ran to Archie and took the man’s hand. "Let Mother do the punishment."

Archie smiled crookedly at Annalize and held her hand gently. "Don’t. I don’t want Her Majesty the Queen’s hand to be dirtied by this rat. Let me punish them, I am good at things like this."
