Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 206: Arielle Meets Her Family

"Well... what kind of bird is that, my lady?" Sasha asked, moving Arielle’s hand to look in the direction he was pointing.

Arielle looked at the two large yellow and black-winged animals. The girl smiled.

"That’s called a butterfly."

"Is the animal poisonous? Because people say if an animal is brightly colored, it’s probably poisonous."

Tania laughed, then grabbed Sasha’s hand to stop holding Arielle.

"There are no poisonous butterflies," replied Tania gently. The woman invited Sasha to come in. "Let’s go inside to say hello to the king and queen."

Arielle took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She was not ready to see her father again. Her eyes glanced around the palace, trying to find another route if she accidentally met her siblings.

Now the three of them were standing in front of the hall. She hoped that there would only be the king and queen.

The door to the hall was opened, and Arielle’s body suddenly stiffened to see her nine siblings lined up looking at her. Alexis and Andrea stood on each side of the king’s throne. Queen Rosalie sat in her chair. It was a place for a queen.

Even though the woman had almost as much power as the king, a queen could not have more control than the king, in either the capacity of responsibility to the position. Therefore in any kingdom, in the royal hall, there would be only one throne. It belonged to the king.

Tania could feel Arielle’s fear. The woman gently led Arielle to step forward. Sasha looked up at the princess as Arielle gripped his hand tightly. The boy immediately knew of the princess’s fear. Sasha didn’t say much. Silently he analyzed everyone in the hall.

Sasha didn’t recognize any of them because he had never met anyone. All Sasha recognized was King Hugo sitting on his throne and Queen Rosaline in a beautiful chair under the king’s feet. Sasha could recognize the woman as queen just because of her crown. Then there were a few other women sitting in simpler chairs beside Queen Rosalie. Maybe they were the king’s concubines.

To the left stood several other people. Judging from their exquisite attire, it seemed that they were the children of the king. And the two people standing on the side of the king’s throne were the two eldest siblings, children of Queen Rosalie.

Sasha’s survival instinct immediately marked the two of them as boss villains. And here, he was assigned to protect Princess Arielle from the two.

Arielle released her grip from Sasha’s hand and then looked down to greet her father.

"Good afternoon, Your Majesty the King Hugo. I have returned from the North," she said in a trembling voice.

Sasha, who saw Tania, bowed down too.

"Welcome. I didn’t think you would come so soon. I thought Ronan would keep you in the North," King Hugo joked.

Arielle did not dare to straighten her body. She did not know what to reply to the king’s words, therefore still choosing to remain silent. Andrea looked at Arielle from top to bottom. The girl looked the same as the last time she visited the North. Just a little pale, that might be the result of a long journey.

Then she looked at the girl who was standing beside Arielle.

"Who is she, Arielle?" Andrea asked ahead of Alexis, who was also almost asking the same question.

"Hello, my name is Sasha. I am a child who was helped by Princess Arielle while in the North. And I was brought to be a servant for Princess Arielle replacing Tania, who is getting old," replied Sasha so smoothly and confidently.

Some of Arielle’s other siblings laughed when Sasha mentioned old Tania. Arielle still didn’t respond. She didn’t want to mess up. Likewise, Tania, who was still looking down, did not dare to interrupt. Now only Sasha was standing straight, looking at Andrea who was smiling at him.

"What are you looking at? Bow your head before the king!" reprimanded Queen Rosalie from her place. She did not like to see the little child who did not bow before the royal family.

"I hope you had a pleasant trip. You can rest this afternoon. Let’s meet again tonight at the dinner table," said the king, who then raised one hand as a sign that he was sending everyone away from there, including Arielle. Only Queen Rosalie, Andrea, and Alexis remained.

In front of the hall, someone bumped into her shoulder from behind. It caused Arielle to stagger and almost fall forward. It was great she was helped by Tania. The girl immediately pulled Sasha to stand on the side of the hallway to give way to the other siblings.

Arielle closed her eyes as one of the princesses patted her head with a fan.

"Whore," whispered her sister in Arielle’s ear. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Just like her mother, right? What a loose woman."

Some of them laughed loudly, and Arielle just stayed where she was. She immediately pulled Sasha’s hand, which was ready to grab the women’s hair. Arielle shook her head slowly, signaling Sasha not to look for trouble.

When the girl was about to turn around to look for another route, her steps were suddenly stopped. It was one of her brothers. The son of a concubine, Prince Archie.

"Ah, th-thanks for the carriage, Brother."

Archie just shrugged his shoulders and pointed at Arielle’s neck. At first, the girl looked confused, then lowered her face and found her necklace exposed. Probably it came out when she staggered earlier.

"Hide it well," Archie said curtly before turning to do his duty as a prince. Namely, being unemployed.

Tania immediately covered Arielle’s body, hoping that no one would see Arielle and the necklace given by King Ronan.

"Alright, let’s just rest."

Arielle then pulled Sasha’s hand not to run anywhere. Nieverdell Palace was not as big as Northendell Palace. Wherever they went, there would be a chance for Arielle to accidentally run into her siblings. So they had to be more careful.
