Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 139: Sasha
Tania’s face, which was wrinkled with worry, immediately became more cheerful. The woman’s smile was printed clearly, showing a row of neat teeth.
"Ah... Princess! Congratulations!" Tania exclaimed excitedly.
The woman got up and grabbed the princess by the shoulders. Arielle was very confused by Tania’s sudden change in attitude. She just laughed as Tania hugged her tightly. The woman jumped with joy. Her embrace of Arielle’s body did not subside. She made it hard for Arielle to breathe.
"Tania ... you’re hugging me too tightly," she explained with a small laugh, feeling happy by Tania’s enthusiasm.
Satisfied with hugging Arielle, Tania let go of her hug slowly. She gently stroked Arielle’s hair lovingly.
"Sorry for worrying about such a pointless thing. I am very happy if you are happy, Your Highness."
"Tania, I have other news," cut Arielle, who was excited.
"Other news?" Tania asked again, biting her lower lip, not wanting to scream with joy.
"His Majesty the King proposed to me!" cried Arielle, making Tania, who had been holding herself back, finally shouted with joy. Arielle, who saw Tania cheering happily, laughed again.
Tania hugged the princess again. Arielle hugged the woman back no less tightly as well.
"Then we really don’t need to return to the South, right, Your Highness?" asked Tania, still feeling touched.
Arielle nodded, making the woman shed tears. She really felt very happy now. She didn’t need to meet people who often intimidated her.
If Princess Arielle married King Ronan, it meant that the man was willing to protect Arielle from her siblings. No-no... that means Arielle and Tania didn’t need to see those people anymore.
Tania was feeling very grateful. She regretted having negative thoughts in the first place, and this way she could feel very relieved. There was no need to feel guilty anymore because both she and Arielle have had the same feelings. They both wanted to settle down in the North.
The two of them were still hugging when there was a knock on Arielle’s bedroom door. Lucas informed Arielle that the boy that she brought home had been bathed. Now the boy was resting in one of the empty rooms in the Whitethorn Palace.
Arielle then invited Tania with her to check the condition of the child. Arielle came out of the room and walked down the main stairs into an open hallway with Lucas and Tania. The room was located close to the palace entrance.
Lucas opened the door and gave way for Arielle and Tania to enter first. The child she had met earlier had changed into cleaner clothes even though there were some creases. It looked like it was a spare outfit brought by the kid.
Arielle turned towards the rolled-up cloth that had been opened. As she thought, it was the clothes brought with the child.
"Hi!" greeted Arielle in a friendly manner.
The boy sat with his head lowered deeply. He was embarrassed to face Arielle. After he asked a servant who bathed him earlier, he found out that the beautiful woman he gave roses to during the festival was a royal princess and the man whose face was covered in black cloth at that time was King Ronan, who was famous for always wearing a mask.
"Are you feeling warmer already?" asked Arielle, who then sat in the chair in front of the child.
The child remained silent. Several times Arielle asked, the child kept his mouth shut and looked down, refusing to look at the princess who was faithfully sitting in front of him.
But he couldn’t help but raise his face as a servant pushed a trolley full of food. His stomach hadn’t been filled with anything since last night. The bread he stole couldn’t even be eaten because it was frozen.
When the waiter opened the tray cover, his stomach churned. His face was flushed with embarrassment when he heard the sound of his stomach growling very loudly. Arielle chuckled because she felt the child was really cute.
"Eat, I won’t bother you," said the girl bringing a plate of grilled meat in front of the child
Without waiting any longer the child grabbed the plate and then devoured the meal greedily. Arielle touched the boy’s shoulder slowly hoping the boy could eat slowly. If he ate too fast, Arielle was worried the child would choke.
"Eat in peace, if it’s not enough, I’ll have a maid bring more."
"Can I get more?"
Arielle smiled at the boy’s voice since it was the first time he had spoken to her. The girl nodded without hesitation. Tania understood what she had to do.
The woman left the room to immediately go to the palace kitchen. Lucas was still standing by the door guarding the princess so she was not left alone with a stranger. He needed to ensure her safety at all times, even though the stranger was only a child.
Arielle grabbed an empty glass and poured water into it. She put the glass next to the plate so the boy could drink immediately if he choked.
"What is your name?" asked Arielle when the child was breathing in between chews.
"Sasha," he answered simply.
Sasha? Sounded like a girl’s name, Arielle thought to herself. She watched the boy carefully and was sure that Sasha was a boy. She remembered when they were at the festival, Sasha shouted to wait for him to grow up so that he could marry her. Remembering that made Arielle laugh in amusement.
Sasha heaved a sigh of relief after finishing all the food the maid had brought. However, he straightened up and waited enthusiastically when he saw Tania carrying another trolley filled with food. Arielle just sat quietly, not wanting to disturb the child’s meal.
If one looked closely, Sasha was very thin. His cheeks were very hollow and seemed sunken. His eye bags were also quite deep. His lips were pale and chapped. He must have been sitting in the cold for too long.
Arielle waited patiently for Sasha to finish his second meal. When all the plates were empty, the boy burped loud enough to make Arielle smile. Sasha, who felt full, leaned his body on the back of the chair while gently stroking his stomach, which looked more bloated. His lips curved into a satisfied smile.
