"Everyone’s gone, how about you? Did you drive here?" Di Mingchen looked at Nangong Ran, then glanced around. Yet, there wasn’t a single car nearby.
Nangong Ran hadn’t had a chance to reply before Di Mingchen swiftly said, "Come on, get in the car." 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
With that, he took the lead and walked towards the car.
Di Mingchen opened the rear car door and looked at Nangong Ran. Nangong Ran was taken aback, and quickly hurried to catch up.
She nimbly got into the car and couldn’t help but act a bit coy, saying, "Oh brother, how embarrassing, bothering you to take me again."
Di Mingchen also got into the car, glanced at her, and with a good-natured smile said, "What’s embarrassing about it? It’s not like you’ve never ridden with me before."

But she managed to swallow those words after all.
The back compartment was very spacious, not cramped at all despite having two people seated in it. Rather, it was quite relaxed, with one person on each seat, seated fairly apart.
Sitting so far apart made Nangong Ran’s compulsive tendencies act up a bit, because she liked Di Mingchen, and thus felt perhaps she should sit closer!
Nangong Ran stole a glance at Di Mingchen, finding his resolute and handsome face expressionless, his eyes slightly closed as if resting.
Nangong Ran’s eyes darted around, pondering what clever way she could use to move closer to him.
After thinking for about ten seconds, she came up with a perfect and very solid plan.
Nangong Ran took out her phone, opened the messaging app, and boldly shuffled over, moving right next to Di Mingchen, deliberately leaning against him.
Di Mingchen opened his eyes, slowly turned to look at her, and the sight that greeted him was her charming, alluring smile.
"What’s up?" Di Mingchen spoke, his voice inexplicably acquiring a raspy hue that added a touch of allure, surprising even himself.
The place where they touched seemed to heat up involuntarily, and he thought, he wanted to reach out an arm and draw her into his embrace, and then...
Di Mingchen tightened his hands into fists.
"Oh, a little bit." Nangong Ran nodded with a cheeky smile, shaking her phone slightly, "I promised to pay back what I owed you last time, but I almost forgot. Let me transfer it to you now."
Just as she was about to operate her phone, a large fair hand grabbed it from her and took it away.
"No need." Di Mingchen closed the transfer screen and handed it back to her, "Just keep it for yourself."
Nangong Ran instantly covered her face, her heart pounded, she always felt Di Mingchen was so manly, right!
