I was really bummed about that book, as I actually liked it a lot.

After that book was taken down, I took a break, then started writing "Slaying Chaos".

Before starting the book, I mulled over it for a long time,

Both my editor and friends advised me to continue with the style of "One Man’s Journey Through the Martial World", since the stats in the early stages of that book were insanely good. At that time, the editor even thought I had a shot at the top tier rewards, but eventually, because of my personal reasons, I couldn’t keep up the momentum and the results sharply declined, forcing me to wrap it up at just over a million words.

But that book also proved that readers still appreciate straightforward, decisive actions with an appealing market.

So, everyone told me to keep writing like that,

I also wanted to write in that style, after all, earning money isn’t shameful, the key is that it makes money.

However, when I finally put pen to paper, I hesitated again,

So I spent a long time reading through the comments on "One Man’s Journey Through the Martial World" one by one, and ultimately decided to add a little something different to the decisive actions, so readers wouldn’t suffer aesthetic fatigue.

Balancing the thrill and adding something unique is actually quite challenging, so after much deliberation, I found a breakthrough point, which is the characters!

In "One Man’s Journey Through the Martial World", I’d rather not discuss the later stages. In the early stages, it was all about the thrill, constantly exhilarating, but the biggest flaw was the monotony in character development. Readers felt a bit empty after the thrill ended.

It’s like some single readers who feel great satisfaction in the act, but once the thrill fades, an infinite loneliness sets in, hehe,

So, for this book, I decided to flesh out the characters a bit, leaving readers with memories, just like lighting a cigarette afterward... that cigarette is the blind spot, you know what I mean!

So, the style of this book is distinct from "One Man’s Journey Through the Martial World",

For example, in the first volume, the guide character Gu Chuan appears,

This character will play a very important role later. He is a somewhat pretentious child of the Noble Family, but he is also filled with contradictions, having the arrogance of a Noble Family but also the camaraderie of a Martial World rogue.

In the second volume, other characters appear,

Rong Yichu, everyone can see that this character has some overlaps with Li Zeqian from "One Man’s Journey Through the Martial World", but the difference is that Li Zeqian appeared as an already maxed-out big shot, while Rong Yichu will grow step by step,

Moreover, for the development of antagonist characters, I hope to bring something fresh. Too many cookie-cutter, stereotypical roles fail to leave a lasting impression, so I created a character like Wan Yan,

This character will differ greatly from the usual villains,

But despite saying all this, there’s still one most important point,

That is, I write books to earn money,

So, I won’t fall into the pretentious literary trap. If readers like decisive actions, I’ll give them decisive actions. This is the foundation of this book, which will not change. The character stuff is just a garnish,

The main thing is a single word: thrill,

Really, I like reading web novels myself,

I also enjoy reading thrilling stories,

I remember many readers telling me one thing,
