Love You for the Rest of My Life-Chapter 1864 - 1863: Not Afraid of Catching a Chill
"Hey, Second Brother, you’re here so early?" Di Mingzhe casually greeted Di Mingchen as they came up.
Who knew Di Mingchen wouldn’t respond, his gaze still fixed on Nangong Ran.
Nangong Ran, unaware, was tilting her head, chatting with Nangong Lin.
Di Mingzhe raised an eyebrow, "Second Brother, I’m talking to you. What are you looking at?"
Di Mingchen finally snapped out of his trance and withdrew his gaze when Di Mingzhe followed his eyes.
Di Mingzhe smiled, it seemed Di Mingchen was quite taken with Nangong Ran, so much so that he was lost for words.
Before he could say anything, Di Mingchen reached out, took off his military coat, and draped it over Nangong Ran without a word.
Nangong Ran, still talking, was taken aback. "Whoa, what the heck?"
Suddenly, a familiar presence reminded her it was Di Mingchen.
Nangong Ran turned to look at him.
Di Mingchen maintained a serious demeanor, "Why are you dressed like this? Aren’t you afraid of getting cold?"
Nangong Ran hesitated, thinking she wouldn’t be cold as they wouldn’t stay outside and would go indoors soon where it was heated, and the temperature wasn’t low.
"Oh." Nangong Lin teased from the side, "Second Young Master is so thoughtful. I’m barely dressed too, aren’t you worried I’ll freeze?"
Di Mingchen’s face turned a little red at her words.
"We’re all barely dressed!" Di Xiaxia quickly chimed in, "Second Brother, why don’t you cover me too?"
Di Mingchen said nothing, or rather, couldn’t say anything.
"Alright, let’s go inside quickly, it’s cold outside." Di Mingzhe promptly urged; it wouldn’t do if they stayed outside too long and caught a chill.
That was sensible, and everyone hastily went indoors, stepping into the stadium hallway lined with a red carpet where a group of media had been waiting.
Upon seeing tonight’s protagonists enter, they hurriedly picked up cameras and started snapping pictures.
Nangong Ran took off the coat and handed it to Di Mingchen, "Second Brother, here’s your coat. We don’t need it now."
Indeed, it wasn’t needed inside, even Di Mingchen didn’t need a military coat.
Di Mingchen glanced at her, reached out to take it, and their hands inevitably touched briefly. Nangong Ran quickly withdrew hers.
Di Mingchen’s gaze darkened slightly, then he passed the coat to a nearby guard.
The media buzzed with activity, capturing this good-looking group from every angle, delighted with their shots.
Everyone was cooperative.
Single shots, group shots, candid shots, all sorts of photos.
Alvin stood at the end of the red carpet in a white suit and black tie, looking very formal.
Honestly, Alvin was quite handsome, with an elegant charm reminiscent of the most gentle, alluring, and graceful prince from a Greek myth, with incredible genetics.
He stood quietly, waiting for his friends to approach.
Di Mingzhe and his group soon reached the front.
Alvin promptly stepped up to greet them, first politely hugging Di Mingzhe, then smiling to greet, "Welcome, Your Excellency, it’s an honor beyond words, and to Second Young Master, Third Young Master, Senior Brother, and all the ladies, sisters, it’s a privilege to have you here. I’m thrilled and grateful to know you in this lifetime, may our friendship last forever."
