Lord of Myths: I Can Summon and Fuse Divine Powers.-Chapter 79: The library of Babel. (4)
The Ashura received her punch head-on, a blow so strong it almost made her fall.
However, that didn't draw a grimace on her face, but a smile.
She had just verified it, even if that scenario weakened her, even if that reality was against her.
Her authority could still be used on Anansi.
And that was a gigantic advantage.
"[
]," the Ashura said.
[
]?
The words didn't come out of her mouth.
Or rather, they did, but that moment in time was erased.
It was true, that command while it required an absurd amount of Azoth, would allow killing someone just by ordering it.
However, Anansi didn't have to worry about that, history was on her side.
If she died, the element that killed her would be eliminated from history causing her to survive as if nothing had happened.
It was a practically absolute defense.
"You should know those tricks don't work," Anansi affirmed, as she moved one of her fingers.
Upon doing so, the Ashura's body was pulled backward with extreme force, as if being pulled by an invisible rope.
In fact, that's exactly what was happening.
An invisible thread pulled the Ashura, making her crash into several shelves at full speed, while the books riddled her body with attacks as soon as she approached.
With thunderous force, the demon goddess of tyranny was hit by countless shelves, being dragged through a large part of the Library of Babel.
However, while being dragged, the Ashura had a smile, she was happy, which wasn't very logical.
However, she had discovered something very interesting.
When Anansi had eliminated her attack from history, she had also eliminated the amount of Azoth spent on the command.
In other words, while Anansi had to spend power rewriting history, she, the glorious Ashura of tyranny hadn't lost any Azoth.
What did this mean?
That as long as her command was capable of killing Anansi in one blow, it wouldn't cost her Azoth, because as soon as history was rewritten, that expenditure would never have been made.
However, each time she did it, Anansi would be forced to use that "return in history."
The Ashura smiled, while being dragged between two aisles of shelves which were constantly riddling her with attacks.
However, now that the Ashura wasn't so afraid to spend Azoth, fighting against Anansi would be much simpler than before.
"[MANIFEST]!" the demon goddess of tyranny vociferated, with an almost euphoric laugh.
Upon doing so, a small black point shone just in front of her, and at that moment, all the attacks began to be absorbed by that small black point, which gradually became larger.
Yes, the Ashura had just invoked a black hole, however, it was a mere imaginary representation of one.
Instead of a classic black hole, this one was simply a black sphere that had the same characteristics as a black hole.
However, it violated the logic of one by not attracting the Ashura.
"Ha! Let the party begin!" the Ashura exclaimed, as she pointed at the black hole with her finger.
With a gesture the black hole began to move, colliding with one of the "shelf aisle" walls, absorbing books and shelves at full speed.
With another gesture, the hole made a curved movement, passing behind the Ashura cutting the thread that was pulling her, and continuing its path.
The black hole went through the shelf absorbing the books from it while continuing to advance at full speed growing dangerously.
The object began to travel aggressively throughout Babel absorbing a large part of the books and shelves, accelerating toward Anansi.
"I see you decided to get serious, huh?" the witch asked, as she moved another of her fingers.
From the floor several shelves protruded that interposed themselves in the black hole's path.
All the books opened at once, releasing from them multiple letters which floated in the air elegantly, dancing in golden color.
The letters began to surround the black hole, whose suction power and acceleration began to diminish.
Then, the letters began to compress the black hole, as if they were trying to seal it.
Little by little the hole's size diminished until disappearing completely.
"[Explode]," the demon goddess of tyranny ordered in the distance, while the black hole was being blocked.
Upon saying that moment hundreds of silver gleams shone behind her, as if suddenly all the stars in the sky had obeyed the Ashura's command and had descended to her side.
In an instant, that starry sky became an explosive apocalypse.
Those stars shone intensely shooting hundreds of silver rays which pierced through the Library of Babel, making shelves explode but above all, breaking and piercing through that wall of shelves Anansi had created.
The light rays were too fast, they pierced through the wall of shelves and reached Anansi, exploding in silver energy explosions that practically evaporated her body...
The light rays were too fast, they pierced through the wall of shelves but before reaching Anansi, and exploding in silver energy explosions that could evaporate her body, the light rays magically deviated to the sides, exploding far from the witch.
"Tch, clever girl, she doesn't always cancel the attack, that will be problematic," the Ashura observed, seeing how the light rays deviated.
She could notice when history deviated, so she would know when Anansi did it.
However, the Ashura had realized it wasn't good to rush as she was doing, because killing her didn't guarantee she would erase the attack from history.
"I suppose I must make an attack that ensures her death even if she changes history," the demon goddess of tyranny deduced with a serious expression.
There was no way to divert an instant death order, but attacks like the ones she had just made could be.
It was a shame, since the Ashura didn't like the idea of repeating strategies and attacks.
She considered herself an artist, and her pride prevented her from accepting mediocrity.
However, at that moment she couldn't afford those whims.
"You leave me no choice," the Ashura said with a sigh. "[Accelerate]."
Caligo accelerated toward Anansi, after all if she wanted to use the death command on her she had to be close.
"Huh?"
However, at that instant, an amalgam of loose pages began to surround her.
What the hell was happening?
