After spending an hour eating and chatting at a restaurant, Jay and Valery walked around the mall.

With the events of terrorism still fresh, only a few people could be seen at the mall unlike the usual.

After walking for a while and visiting some stores that they passed by, the two of them went to the fourth floor where the arcade is located.

Jay just smiled at her actions before following.

"Good afternoon, Ma’am and Sir. Welcome to GameZone!"

At the counter of the arcade, Jay and Valery bought a card and loaded 1 thousand pesos worth of game tokens into it.

After successfully getting their tokens, Valery couldn’t wait any longer.

She grabbed Jay’s hands and pulled him deep into the arcade, looking at the various games around them.

"There it is. Jay, the basketball game is right over there!"

Valery pointed at the row of basketball games arranged not far away from them with shining light in her eyes.

Standing in front of the basketball game, Jay looked at Valery and asked,

"So, who should go first?"

"Me! I’ll go first!"

Valery immediately presented herself and got into position.

"Alright. I’ll swipe it now."

Jay swiped the card at the machine and it lit up.

Valery stood in place, waiting for the balls to roll down.

Looking at her just standing there, Jay reminded,

"Press the start button!"

Valery hurriedly pressed the button and a 60 second timer appeared above, officially starting the game.

Balls rolled down to her and she grabbed the nearest one to her.

Once she have the ball in her hand, the look on Valery’s face became serious.

Raising her hands, Valery threw the ball and it flew smoothly inside the net.

Without even pausing, Valery picked up another ball and continued shooting.

Just like before, the ball entered directly inside the net without a problem.

Watching on the side, Jay can’t help but raise an eyebrow.

"Wow, you’re really good, Val!"

Hearing his compliment, a smile unconsciously formed on Valery’s lips and she started moving faster.

Her movements were smooth like flowing water, but fierce and sharp at the same time.

Even though she’s wearing a beautiful dress, Jay could only describe her current appearance as handsome!

Jay took out his phone and started taking a video of her.

’I should post this later at my TokTok. Since I won’t be live streaming for a while, posting videos is not a bad idea.’

With that in mind, Jay took the video seriously.

When the timer above the basketball game machine reached zero, the balls stopped coming down, ending the game.

Beside the timer, Valery’s score is visible in bright red color.

Valery turned to looked at Jay with a smug look and said,

Her smug look made her look like a naughty kid which is cute.

Jay chuckled, "Yeah, yeah, you’re amazing."

"Now, let me give it a try next."

Saying that, Jay handed his phone over to her to keep recording.

Taking it, Valery looked at it curiously.

"This is your phone, Jay?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Well, nothing. I just thought that it looks so old already."

Valery said in a low voice.

In response, Jay shrugged, "It’s because it is old."

"Forget that, make sure to take the video seriously, okay?"

"I’m going to start now!"

Jay swiped the game card and pressed the start button.

Immediately, the balls started rolling down towards him.

Without hesitation in his movements, Jay picked up a ball, raised his hands, and threw it.

The ball went inside on his first shot!

Without taking a rest, Jay continued shooting. Some of his shots failed to go in at first, but it didn’t take long before each and every shot of him to enter, scoring him points.

And without doubt, the two of them had a lot of fun based on the big smiles on their faces and laughter coming from them from time to time.

Soon, Jay and Valery used up all the tokens they loaded on the card.

Jay said, looking at the screen of the balance checker machine.

He turned to Valery and asked, "Would you like to load some to it again?"
