Legendary Oops System-Chapter 13: Awakening A New Skill
It was the shadow of White’s hand, slowly turning left to right under his control.
He sat up from the Lizard’s corpse, observing his own broken bones, regrew and snapping back into place while his flesh squirmed, covering it up.
His shoulder had regenerated.
The marks on his hands also began to quietly close, the same for the cuts on his face.
In less than a minute, he rose back to his feet, all injuries fading like they never existed.
’How?’
[Every Level Up will lead to an automatic full bodily rejuvenation.]
The panel flashed before it continued.

[Does Host Wish to use Level Up Cards?]
’I’m guessing the Level Up cards are the same effect as completing EXP. Then, use 1.’
He spoke.
His reasoning was simple.
Suppose every level up can regenerate him, then it would be safe to say he could regenerate; so far, he’s been able to level up.
If he always keeps a level-up card on him, then whenever he sustains a severe injury, he can ask the system to use that instead of waiting to gain enough EXP.

He ordered.
Silence followed for a while.

He felt his heart pounding loudly again, a blue glow circling his entire body, filling him with power.
It was an intoxicating feeling that nearly caused White’s eyes to roll back, but it was very fleeting, vanishing in less than five seconds.

Clenching and unclenching his fist, the change was immediate.
’I grew twice stronger.’
He mused to himself.
But that wasn’t all.
When he turned to observe his surroundings, it felt like he was looking at everything through a microscope.
Everything appeared much clearer in his eyes, with a strange blue glow flickering from within.
But it wasn’t just his eyes.
The sounds became sharper, allowing him to notice an ant walking on a leaf and a tiny snail chewing on the leaves.
[That is the effect of Spirit]
The system panel flashed, and a grin tugged on the corner of his lips.
"It’s not bad at all."
[With Spirit having surpassed 10 and having successfully copied an awakened soul.]

The panel flashed, and he quickly navigated to the Skills and Abilities Tab.
There, he found something that made his breath pause.

[Allows the user to channel Limitless Energy through his veins to enhance a selected body part.
Legs → Increased speed and agility.

Current Limitation: Only one body part can be enhanced at a time.]
[Please upgrade the skill to improve effects.]
The system panel flashed, and White’s eyes gleamed.
’This...It’s exactly what I did in the fight. So, it translates it into a skill.’
[Yes. And this is better than an average awakener skill.]
The system panel flashed, as doubt flickered in his eyes.
’And how is that?’
[The average awakener will need to focus and have their attention on the skill to activate and keep it active.]
[In your case, you closed your eyes and focused to activate the skill, which naturally took you some time, 8 seconds to be exact.]
[But with the system having recognized the skill. You can naturally activate the skill by just calling its name.]
[This gets rid of the need to focus and wasting time, allowing full focus on the battle instead of the skill.]
It explained lengthily, and White finally understood.
But then he looked beneath and found something.

From his previous quest of winning Nova’s loyalty, he had indeed gained an ability upgrade card.
’Upgrade Limitless Body!’
White ordered, and it flashed.

White ordered and, in that moment,
FLICKER!
His dark irises took on a shade of blue as blue light flickered out.
BAADUMP!
His heart pumped loudly as green veins appeared on both his arms and his legs, trailing down to the rest of his body.
It made his entire body swell twice its size as he grew taller and more muscular, but then, the green veins changed to an astral light, and White’s massive form began reducing until he was back at his previous size, except now a head taller.
He looked at his skin, and instead of it crawling with veins, it was smooth, with glowing astral lines over him instead.
His hands clenched and
VROOOM!
The air folded in between his fist.
Raising his legs.
BAAAM!
A single line of crack appeared on the ground as he slammed his feet down.]
’It...It truly got rid of the limitation. I can use everything at the same time!’
White thought in disbelief.
Things like this would normally require an awakener weeks of meditation and practice to be eventually able to reach this level of control over their ability, yet with one ability upgrade card, he had been able to easily get rid of all that, gaining even more power.
’This...this is truly insane.’
He mused once again, cackling evilly to himself.
All of a sudden,
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!
A fiery explosion exploded into the air, and White’s neck snapped into the distance.
There in the sky, he could see astral light, no doubt Limitless energy flying into the air.
"Nova isn’t done yet? That’s weird."
He mused to himself, but quickly his eyes narrowed when he noticed something.
Mixed within her Limitless energy was an almost invisible blood-like energy.
’Wait. That...That’s not a beast’s power. That’s another awakener’s energy!’
He mused, and in the next moment, the ground beneath him caved, as he burst forward with speed, towards the direction of the explosion.
