"What a beautiful sight." Astralious was unable to stop himself from complimenting the frozen flower of flames. "Don't you think so?"

"It looks decent." Elias lazily answered. He was somewhat interested, but not enough to go and check personally. At least that was the case until he saw many powerful presences flying in the direction of the frozen flower of fire.

If it was just an unsanctioned battle, then one Professor was enough to handle it. But within a span of a minute, he felt the presence of at least five professors flying towards that frozen structure.

"It might be more interesting than I thought..." He stepped back, and closed the Dimensional Gate.

He changed his mind, and instead of returning to his mansion, he also started rushing towards the cloud of flames that was frozen by ice.

If it was something that could attract so many Professors, then it had to be something more special than he had assumed. Under normal circumstances, he couldn't enter this place.

Fortunately, this time he had an excuse. He was brought here by the students of the Creator Class against his wishes. He was on his way back when he saw the explosion and decided to check out.

Even if he was caught, with the excuse, he didn't think that things were going to get worse for him. The Dean still had a use for him after all, even if it was to sacrifice him.

Two shadow wings came from his back, and he rose in the air, flying straight to the place where the Professors and High Ranking Students had gathered.

Once he was close enough, he landed on the ground and suppressed his presence, covering the test of the distance on foot.

"Hmm? Now that I am closer, why does this thing feel a little familiar?" Astralious rubbed his chin, observing the grand, frozen structure that resembled a branchless tree from closer.

"Haa! I remember! This ice! It's not actually ice! It's the frozen flames of that annoying guy! I must be getting really old to take so long to recognize it!"

"Flames of the Ice Phoenix," Elias mumbled, looking at the Analysis Screen of the grand structure.

Deep disappointment flashed in his eyes when he looked at the material compatibility with his own body, which couldn't be any lower if it had tried.

"Huh? You knew about it? Why is it that sometimes you don't even know the most basic things of this world, and other times, you know things that should be harder to know?"

Astralious was annoyed when he had to explain things to Elias, but surprisingly, he was even more annoyed when he didn't get the opportunity to explain and flex his knowledge.

"Still, you are right. This is the Flames of the Ice Phoenix, ranked third in the Flame Rankings of Gods and Demons. These flames were no different from the previous dean of the Academy's visiting card. Is that guy still alive?"

"It would be strange for him to be alive, since we are currently standing above his tomb," Elias answered, gesturing toward the area that was surrounded by the Professors of the Creator Class.

"You mean the flames are ownerless? Why don't you merge with them? This kind of opportunity doesn't come often!" Astralious said with great enthusiasm.

Unfortunately, for Elias, it felt no different than rubbing salt on his wounds. If he could take those flames, why would he waste time?

"I can't. The compatibility is too low," he stated, his void of any emotion, yet there was still a hint of frustration beneath the surface.

"Oh..." Astralious's enthusiasm deflated instantly. He scratched his head, trying to come up with a solution. "Is there any other way?"

"Do you think the Dean's body would be intact?" Elias asked.

"Hmm? He was a godlike existence. His body wouldn't decay. Everything else depends on how he died. But why are you asking?"

Astralious found Elias's question very suspicious. It felt like a useless question, but he didn't think that Elias could ask a question for no reason.

"What evil things are you planning now?"

"I'm not planning anything." Elias innocently shrugged, but deep down, he was truly thinking of something. If the Dean's body was still intact, then he could truly find a use for it.

"Senior, that boy is talking to himself. Do you think he is crazy?" a girl said, pointing at Elias who was observing the tree while talking to Astralious. In her eyes, he was like a crazy man who was talking to himself.

"Shh, don't look at him. His stupidity might be contagious." The older boy held the girl's hand and walked past Elias, who pretended to not hear anything.

"If you have to struggle so hard to control your laughter, why do you even try?" Elias whispered under his breath. Behind him, Astralious had placed a hand over his mouth, trying to hide his muffled laughter.

"Hahahaha!" Astralious took his hand off and started laughing louder, following the suggestion that he was given. Instead, it was Elias who was starting to regret telling Astralious.

Meanwhile, at the core of the tree of ice flames, the Professors were looking at the opening in the ground. Even a stair had appeared, that led down to the tomb.

"There is a barrier at the entrance. I can't enter." The moment Medusa's fingers touched the barrier, the ice flames attacked her, as if they were still alive and resisting her entry.

She was forced to pull her hand back abruptly, but even then, the flesh around her finger had completely burned, leaving only the bones visible.

"What if we attack together? I'm certain we can break a dead barrier. Right?" Another Professor suggested.

The Professors agreed after a short discussion and told everyone else to step back. They rose in the sky, and attacked the entrance with their strongest attacks to break the barrier.

Standing far away from the entrance, Elias watched the world shattering attacks targeted at the small entrance. But what happened next, left him even more awestruck as all the attacks were reflected by the barrier.

Not even the combined attacks of the professor could break the barrier cast on the tomb.

"Watch out!" Medusa exclaimed, hiding her body in the void quickly. The other Professors also tried to protect themselves in their own way, but not all of them were as lucky.

One Professional was struck by the reflection, and just like that, a mighty existence of the Academy had fallen, with not even their bones left behind.

The reflection of the attacks still rushed to the sky, causing a fracture in the sky.
