Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday-Chapter 375: The AI axe...1
Jingzhe blinked, something in his mind was zooming restlessly like a mosquito searching for blood desperately.
Mei Mei waved her hand in front of his face. He looked lost somewhere in his mind. "A Zhe." She called him.
When he did not respond, she pinched him on the belly and he winced loudly.
"Why are you frozen like a Popsicle?" She asked him. "Let’s go home. Mingzhu has sent me two messages complaining about the fact that we are late for dinner."
He nodded like a zombie.
Mei Mei rolled her eyes. "Black Guard, walk Jingzhe."
The dog came around and walked behind Jingzhe. Then it shoved him forward, pushing him slowly as if he was a toddler.
Everywhere they passed, people laughed or took pictures. And that was the way they moved until they reached home.
Jingzhe walked by everyone as if he was in a trance and he went straight to his bedroom.
"What is wrong with him?" Madam Feng asked Mei Mei.
"I called him husband." She answered.
Madam Feng laughed. "I think you broke him by making him too happy out of the blue."
Mei Mei sighed as she carried Mingzhu to the dining table. "I am afraid so. How do we fix him?"
Five minutes later, madam Feng walked up the stairs with her slipper. A minute later, she walked back down with Jingzhe. He was wincing and rubbing his butt.
Mingzhu waited for him to sit down and she whispered, "Daddy, did grandma spank you on the buttocks?"
Jingzhe nodded and whispered back, "Your grandma is a dangerous woman."
Mingzhu whispered to him, "We will scare her with the clown face."
Jingzhe peeked at his mother to make sure that she had not heard them. If she did, they would both get a spanking.
"I think Rose deserves a noble peace prize." Madam Feng declared. "This luxury slipper design of hers is perfect for teaching obedience and making people get back to their right senses. You are the second person I have spanked today son."
Jingzhe glared at the slipper that was sitting on a chair next to his mother. It even had a seat at the dining table now!! It seemed like it was a guest that had come to stay.
Between the slipper and the kitchen equipment she used to educate him once in a while, he could not decide which was more dangerous.
"Who else did you spank mom?" he asked curiously.
"Pang Lucy." Madam Feng answered casually as she picked up some fish. "I don’t think she will be bothering you anymore unless she wants a second spanking."
Mei Mei laughed.
Jingzhe shuddered. The slipper was definitely there to stay.
Mingzhu reminded herself to be more well behaved to avoid the slipper. She would also have to tell Lian about it.
They were both in the same slipper danger boat now.
"Did you do some homework today?" Mei Mei asked her daughter.
Mingzhu smiled like a sweet obedient daughter. "Of course mommy, I did my homework. I also made my bed, cleaned my doll house, washed the kittens and gave grandma many kisses."
Mei Mei raised her eyebrows curiously.
Mingzhu picked some mushrooms with a chopstick and placed them in her grandmother’s bowl of rice. "Grandma, eat."
Mei Mei and Jingzhe sniggered.
Mingzhu picked up some vegetables as well and added them to the bowl. "Grandma eat this too."
Madam thanked her and ate the carrots and spinach.
Mingzhu put her hands on her cheeks and smiled sweetly. "Grandma, Mingzhu loves you very much. Mingzhu is the cutest. Mingzhu is allergic to slippers and spankings."
Mei Mei saw a new side to her daughter. She was shameless enough to act to avoid spankings.
"Since you are so cute, I will go out tomorrow and buy you more homework books. I will even get you a smart desk which reminds you to read something useful and educational every other forty minutes." Mei Mei told her.
Mingzhu’s face turned sour. Her smile disappeared very quickly.
Jingzhe laughed.
Madam Feng almost laughed out loud. Mei Mei pinched her daughter’s bulging cheek.
"So adorable!"
Jingzhe touched Mingzhu’s head. "Baby girl, your mother is just teasing you. It is the summer holiday and one hour of studying is enough. The rest of the time if for etiquette lessons, dancing, playing outdoor games and other fun activities and sleeping."
"Uncle Rui." Mingzhu shouted, pointing to the television.
They all looked up and Madam Feng told Bandit to increase the volume of the television which was hanging high on the dining room wall.
Chi Rui, the prime minister was sitting behind his desk in his large office that took up an entire floor in the Royal tower.
"Citizens of the great Chinese Empire," he began, voice firm and eyes stony. "Today, I have been assigned the task of forming a task force that will help us boldly take a step towards protecting our youngest minds from the steel grip of digital chaos which we have so lovingly unleashed on them."
"Oh-Oh." Jingzhe said.
Mei Mei held her breath. It looked like this was related to those long meetings Jingzhe had been having with the Emperor, her uncle, other royals and a few ministers.
But then, his expression seemed to hint at shock. Maybe it was not.
"The following smart gadgets and programs will be banned on the Empire effective midnight today. Everyone will be given a week to dispose or have them turned off. After the grace period, the law will intervene and handle cases of refusal to comply."
"Not the holograms." Madam Feng whispered.
Prime Minister Chi Wei bellowed into a microphone, "Babypilot--the AI that raises your children for you. While the lullabies it sings are algorithmically correct and the stories it reads to them at bedtime are original, we have discovered that it teaches toddlers ideas which are against the norms and values of this empire. It also encourages them to demand equity in their snack time, demand for the cash equivalent of snacks and reject foods that it does not recommend for reasons decided by the company that wrote the program."
Mei Mei’s jaw dropped. "Wait, have people actually been raising children with Babypilot? Why don’t I know of this programme?"
This sounded like something she would have been familiar with.
She got her phone and searched for Babypilot.
"Smart fake pets." The prime minister announced.
Mei Mei’s phone dropped out of her hand and she gasped. Even Phoenix group was not surviving the AI axe!!!
"Oh-Oh." She said with wide eyes. "Is my mother even aware of this?" She turned her eyes to Jingzhe because she was now sure he had a clue.
