After she run out of vials and the lawyers run out pockets, the first hurdle appeared to have been crossed.

"Now..." Mediator Wei started.

Mrs. Sun cut him off. "Why haven’t you arrested her? She has just threatened to poison me in front of everyone here. Maybe she is the one that poisoned her daughter and...."

A small stone suddenly hit Mrs. Sun on the nose and she screamed. Blood started dripping from her nostrils and police officers rushed to her aid.

Mediator Wei glared at Mei Mei, Chi Lian and Muyang. "Who of you threw that stone?"

"Our clients will not be answering any questions unrelated to the attempted murder of Miss Jun Meilin by Mrs. Sun and Mr. Mo Liang." The lawyers answered together.

This response was typed out and it was in the tactical response sheet that head lawyer Fu had provided for all situations involving the unpredictable family during this mediation.

One of the lawyers, Chen Aiguo had clearly seen Lady Chi throwing the stone. He was now glad that he had not shouted or given anything away. He looked up at the camera and scratched the top of his ear.

He knew someone in the Phoenix group tech department had hacked into the courtroom cameras. That ear scratch was the signal for ’delete that part from the footage.’

After Mrs. Sun finished receiving first aid and crying, the mediation resumed.

Mr. Wei sighed. "I understand that there is a lot of anger and hatred between the two parties but I request that we all try to work together and end this quickly on the best possible terms. Is there any way we can settle this peacefully?

Is there some form of compensation that you would like to ask for Miss Jun Meilin? Maybe monetary or...."

Jun Muyang loudly let out an ’hmph.’

Mr. Wei sighed again. He got the message loud and clear, they did not need Mo Liang’s money. They were the wealthy and noble Jun’s Mo Liang’s money was pennies to them.

Mei Mei snapped, "Compensation, no way! There is nothing he can give me to make up for years of destroying my health."

Jun Muyang stood up and nine lawyers stood with him. Police officers hurried to grab his arms and stop him from engaging Mo Liang physically.

More tension, more anger circulated in the room. It got even hotter, like they had entered another layer of hell.

Jun Muyang shrugged off the hands of the police officers and slammed his hands on the table. He leaned forward and spoke with the gravitas of a CEO that had battled many opponents. "When my daughter was growing up, I bankrupted or nearly ruined the businesses of every family whose children harmed my baby. Do you think that you are special? She did not survive every trap laid out for her by enemies of our empire and those within just so she could die at the hands of a lowly mutt like you. He got his phone out of his pocket and made a call out in the open. "From now on, any company that does business with Space M or gives Mo Liang any kind of job is going against the Jun group."

"Add me." Chi Lian hissed.

Muyang said into the phone. "The Phoenix group."

"Add me." Mei Mei included herself.

"Pearl space camp."

"Add Huaqi." Chi Lian reminded him.

Muyang mentioned it as well. "I want every asset he owns seized and Space M to disappear from this empire within three days."

Mrs. Sun fainted. This time, nobody was in a rush to attend to her.

Mediator Wei covered his eyes.

Mediator Cang, a forty two year old woman whose daughter worked for Phoenix Entertainment was glad that she had not said a word so far.

The police officers wondered if this was worse than the physical fight. One could survive a few punches but how they survive being cut off financially in today’s world?

She pointed at him, moving her finger up and down. "Then you used filial piety and gas lighting to take away all of Mei Mei’s shares until she was left with only four percent. You have been lying to yourself that you are genius businessman and space ship expert and pilot for so long that you are beginning to believe your lies."

"But he is a space pilot." Mediator Wei interjected.

Lady Chi sneered, "Most space ships are built with AI brains, in our Jun family, every child between sixteen and twenty five can pilot a space ship. For us, it is not that special. As for this this celebrity wannabe...." She indicated at Mo Liang, "He is average."

She opened her bag and slapped slapped some papers on the table. "These are his test results from school. Look at them if you think that I am telling lies, his scores were in the fifties, the highest were sixties.

"It was the classic teacher move where you put a dumb kid in a class of geniuses and hope the dumb one picks up something." Muyang dropped his hands in a mic drop gesture.

Chi Lian made a guttural sound which was accompanied by a look of disdain and said, "Instead of learning you were fucking."

Mei Mei almost slipped out of her chair. The lawyers wondered if they should intervene, the police officers were shocked by Lady Chi’s bluntness.

Mediator Wei gasped. "Break, break, break." he screamed.
