She walked back to her table and retrieved his copy of the marriage certificate. With perfect aim, she tossed it through the air and it slapped him on the cheek. As soon as he held it in his hands, she snapped another picture quickly to confirm that he had received it.

"Congratulations, Leech Mo, you can find yourself another wealthy woman to suck the blood out of. This one has officially and lawfully called it quits."

Mo Liang scoffed and ripped the certificate in two. "Dream on, I am your husband. This divorce does not count because I never signed any papers and my lawyers appealed to end the process before the cooling off period ended." He laughed at her like she was a joke. "In fact, those thirty days are not over so all you have done is in vain."

Mei Mei shrugged. "Then appeal and see if you will get your way. But I am afraid that starting from today, you will be fighting another legal battle and you won’t have time to contest the divorce."

"What do you mean?" He asked her.

She smiled coyly and waved her hand with sass, fanning her fingers out with casual elegance. "Bye bye loser."

Five police officers entered through the door and grabbed him. One went to speak to Mei Mei and others dragged out Mo Liang who was screaming that this was not over.

"He threatened me. I was so scared for my life." Mei Mei sobbed. "And he tore up the marriage certificate and threatened to kill my daughter if I don’t reconcile with him."

The female police officer that was speaking to Mei Mei tapped her back, comforting her. "Don’t worry miss Jun Meilin, we will make sure that he pays for this. He will spend some days in jail and if this goes to court he could even spend a year in prison. And this is going on his permanent criminal record."

Mei Mei grabbed the hands of the police woman and sobbed pitifully. "But he is a space pilot, what if he kidnaps me or my child and flies us away."

The police woman frown frowned. She stepped away to make a phone call. When she returned to Mei Mei’s side three minutes later she said to her, "I have reported this and it has been taken into serious consideration. His pilot license will be suspended within a few hours. Besides, space pilots cannot have criminal records so I doubt that he will be flying again after this goes on his permanent record."

Mei Mei hugged the police woman and cried softly. "Thank you, thank you so much for all your help."

Mei Mei made sure that she cried for at least thirty minutes before letting go of the officer. Police officers liked to gossip about famous people. This story would reach the news soon.

Dealing with Mo Liang using her family connections was easy, but sooner or later, someone would claim bullying or abuse of authority. It was best to use connections a little and depend on the law to do the rest. Her divorce could never be used as a reason to drag down the Jun family or her mother’s Chi family.

So far, they had accumulated a number of ideas which had been shared.

One was making her the star of a reality tv show. Chi Lian was sure that once people saw her making a fool of herself, they would call for her dethronement. Of course, Phoenix tv would be airing the show. She had to benefit from it.

Viscount Huang had suggested that they feed her to Great grandpa Jun’s snake Lele. No body, no crime. Then they would make it look like she run away with her lover.

Princess Qingling suggested that they send her to Antarctica on official duties and have someone bury her in the ice. Her death would be considered accidental and some starving penguins would eat her body.

Rize had to remind her that penguins did not humans. They had to pause the meeting and search for this fact on the internet.

All this while, Jingzhe was quiet, waiting for his turn to speak up and it came when the Empress Mother called upon him.

"What if we make her divorce voluntarily?" he asked.

The people in the office laughed.

"The Hui family went to great lengths to manipulate their way into the royal family." The Empress Mother shook her head. "That Hui girl will die on the throne before giving it up voluntarily."

Jingzhe sighed and he was on the verge of giving up and surrendering to the death plots when a thought crossed his mind. "Mo Liang." He screamed. "Mo Liang is like the Empress and he would never divorce Mei Mei willingly. However, he did and he gave up full custody of the children. If we find out how Mei Mei did it...."

"Don’t bother, I did it and the method I used cannot work on the swan." Chi Lian jumped in, stopping him.

"Why?" he asked.

"Because he is a jerk that cheated on his wife and has a bastard child. Even if he runs to the media and cries about not wanting a divorce, not many people will stand up for him." She twisted in the chair. "But the swan, if she runs to the media and sheds some tears, she will garner sympathy.

Her family will add to the chaos with claims like she was threatened to sign the papers. They could even claim abuse and other things. While the Emperor can defend himself successfully, the royal family will be drugged through mud.

There are only two options here, it is either she dies or she is quietly moved out of the picture."

"Then an illness she can’t recover from." Jingzhe suggested.
