Black vehicles with the sigil of the Imperial command pulled up the the empty beach. Yellow tape was already cordoning off the area near the highest rocks. It was the indicator that this a crime scene. The other indicator was the heavy police presence in the area.

"That was not my case and we were notified too late." Lai Jin defended the marine police and coast guard all together.
Nong Jun huffed and folded his arms on his chest. "Anyway, he has just returned to the empire as far as we can tell. It is unknown how he made it back into the empire just yet so we suspect that he came in on a yacht.

Mingzhe growled and kicked the sand.
"Nong Jun, stick to the crime scene first." Chen Shanhe said what his boss failed to say.

Mingzhe sneered. "Hot shot! Is that the best you can come up with?"
Nong Jun flexed his biceps. "You bastard, how dare you lay hands on my goddess Tangning? You took off your shirt and seduced her. You made her faint and then carried her into your sister’s house!!"
Mingzhe rolled his eyes.
Lai Jin’s mouth fell open.
