The men with the armbands had already been in the wrong for their rough handling earlier, and now that Su Xiaoxiao pointed it out in front of everyone, the onlookers began to eye them suspiciously.

The men were numb to her mocking by now, and her words didn’t seem to faze them in the least. Over the years, they’d searched many rooms in Beijing, and dealing with powerful people had taught them how to be flexible—bending when necessary and standing firm when needed.
After locking the door, Su Xiaoxiao turned to the service staff, who had finally regained her composure after all the commotion.
