Kissed and Seduced By the Most Rough Man in the Village-Chapter 466: What if I Break It?
"Calm down!" Su Xiaoxiao quickly called out as Jiang Yexun leaned down.
"Why do I need to calm down?" Jiang Yexun raised an eyebrow, his already charming voice tinged with a teasing laugh.
Before Su Xiaoxiao could even react, he had already grabbed her delicate wrists and pinned them firmly to the bright red pillow.
Su Xiaoxiao, panicking, immediately lifted her foot to kick him, but he trapped her leg.
"Baby, you’re ruthless! If you kick it and break it, it’ll be useless," Jiang Yexun chuckled with a mischievous tone, his voice dripping with desire.
Su Xiaoxiao was about to say something, but before she could, he wasted no time in pulling her into a deep, swirling kiss.
The sounds of their labored breathing became louder and more urgent, and it was hard to tell how much time had passed before it finally stopped.
Su Xiaoxiao, her body limp like someone dragged out of water, had her hair disheveled, sticking to her face. Her eyes were tightly shut, but her long lashes trembled with each breath. Her soft, petal-like lips parted slightly, still tinted a deep red, as though they were beckoning.
Jiang Yexun, though eager to continue, noticed that his little wife was so exhausted she could barely moan. Though he was the cause of it, his heart still ached for her.
Suppressing his own feelings, he slid off the bed, grabbed his clothes, and went to the bathroom to get some hot water. When he returned, he gently cleaned her up.
Su Xiaoxiao, already half asleep, was stirred again by his actions. With a sleepy grunt, she slapped Jiang Yexun’s face in irritation.
Jiang Yexun quickly grabbed her tiny hand and kissed it before placing it back under the blanket. His actions grew gentler, careful not to disturb her rest.
The next morning, Jiang Yexun woke up at six.
He first prepared the new medicinal herbs, then joined Mrs. Su in the kitchen to help prepare breakfast.
When Mrs. Su walked into the kitchen, she was shocked to see the small dumplings already steaming on the stove. "Why are you two up so early?"
"I’ve always woken up early when I’m in the countryside, and my sleep is light. Yexun was already busy with something, so I just got up to help," Aunt Guo said, wiping her hands and sitting down with Mrs. Su.
Mrs. Su, seeing how busy Jiang Yexun was, asked in surprise, "How come you woke up so early?"
"Xiaoxiao needed to talk to Dad about something, but she was afraid she’d oversleep, so I woke up to help her out," Jiang Yexun explained, as he ladled a bowl of tofu pudding with sweet syrup and placed it in front of Mrs. Su.
Mr. Su walked in just then.
"Xiaoxiao wanted to talk to me about something?" he asked, sitting next to his wife, curiosity evident on his face.
"She drew up an energy-saving stove and wants Dad to help make one at the factory," Jiang Yexun answered, while preparing another bowl of salty tofu pudding for his mother.
"Energy-saving stove?" Mr. Su stood up in a hurry, walking over to Jiang Yexun’s side.
Jiang Yexun quickly wiped his hands, pulled out a stack of paper from his pocket, and handed it to Mr. Su.
Mr. Su opened it and his eyes widened in shock. "Did my daughter draw this?"
"Yes, she got cold last night with the snow, so she drew this," Jiang Yexun nodded.
Mr. Su grinned widely, almost stretching his face to his ears. "Oh, my daughter is so smart, now she’s even designing things!"
"What design?" Mrs. Su and Aunt Guo leaned in, curious.
The drawings were detailed, with explanations of the principles written around the edges, and they could easily understand what was depicted. Though they weren’t entirely sure if this device would work, they were highly supportive of Su Xiaoxiao’s ideas.
"Old Su, when you go to the factory, set up a workshop and have them make this for sweetheart. I don’t think it will be too hard to make. Don’t procrastinate. She said it’s cold, so this thing might actually help warm up the room," Mrs. Su urged her husband.
"Of course! My precious daughter wants something, and I can’t delay it! Alright, let’s eat first. Afterward, I’ll head to work," Mr. Su said, nodding eagerly. He carefully folded the drawing and tucked it into his chest pocket.
Jiang Yexun, standing nearby, quietly brought the steamed dumplings to the table.
After breakfast, once everything was cleaned up and put away, Jiang Yexun returned to their room.
When he lay down beside Su Xiaoxiao, the cold air from the room made her shift restlessly in her sleep.
Seeing this, Jiang Yexun gritted his teeth, frustrated by how his little wife could be so careless even in her sleep. But he couldn’t bear to let her freeze.
Instead, he wrapped himself tightly, warmed up, and then reached over, pulling Su Xiaoxiao into his embrace.
Thankfully, this time, Su Xiaoxiao didn’t pull away. She nestled closer, finding comfort in the familiar warmth and scent of her husband’s chest. She soon fell back into a peaceful sleep.
While they slept soundly, Mr. Su was braving the heavy snow, trudging through it for over half an hour before finally reaching the steel mill.
By the time he arrived, the blast furnaces had already been lit, and the workers preparing for the day’s shift were busy thawing out.
When they saw Mr. Su, they all approached.
"Director, the steel we tried to melt yesterday didn’t succeed. Everything has to be restarted. What should we do now? Will we fail to meet the deadline?" an experienced worker asked with concern.
But Mr. Su smiled. "Don’t worry. They’ve said there will be a national Steel Mill conference before May. The higher-ups are aware that new steel isn’t easy to produce. Besides, we still have three months until May. If we work harder, it might just work."
"True! We can’t give up before the final moment! The leaders said that whoever can produce the new steel will get the new technology from the Russians, along with all the equipment. We have to grab this opportunity."
"Right! We must fight for this!" the workers said, their confidence restored.
Seeing their determination, Mr. Su didn’t say much. Instead, he gestured for them to gather around and continue discussing.
He then walked to the side, pulled out the drawing from his pocket, and began searching through a pile of steel plates.
"Director, what are you doing? Let us help you," one of the workers asked as they saw Mr. Su with the blueprint in hand.
Mr. Su smiled and showed them the drawing. "This was drawn by my daughter. As her father, of course, I have to do it myself."
"Do you really think the results will be as good as what’s shown?" another worker asked, skeptical.
