Noah sat on the bed with his back against the headboard. Didn’t sleep a wink. He spent the whole night thinking about last night. Something was different in Petal. She was cold towards him and the way she reacted when he told her about his feelings shocked him. She completely ignored what he Sato her about his feelings.

Did something happen when he was away? Did she find someone?

Petal, who was lost in her thoughts, didn’t hear the knocking on her room door. She remembered the sweet words that Ethan used to say to her. They were sweet words and nothing more. To him these words mean nothing.

Alice noticed how Noah was making Petal uncomfortable. So she needed to do something."Noah. Can you bring us something to drink? I’m thirsty." Alice said, touching her throat.

"Yes. No problem." Noah said and went to bring the drinks.

Alice waited until Noah was far enough from them before she asked." Did he feel uncomfortable?"

Petal sighed and nodded her head."A little. But it’s alright. He’s a good person." She said, signaling.

"And he has feelings for you. I will give you advice PetaI. Don’t let a man wait for nothing. Tell him the truth as soon as possible." Alice said, looking ahead of her.
