Interstellar Beast World: All My Husbands Are Powerful and Rich!-Chapter 214: Relentless
Rory’s condition had been improving steadily.
Even after everything the night before, she woke up around noon the next day—well-rested and full of energy.
She didn’t miss the bonfire feast the Wolf King had prepared for them that evening.
During the day, the wolf clan had already cleared all the snow from the central square.
By the time night fell, bonfires were lit one after another, their flames rising high against the dark sky.
Beside each fire lay whole, marinated mutant beasts, prepared in advance. Once the feast began, they would be hoisted over the flames and roasted slowly.
Today’s marinade had been taught to them by Nix.
The rich, mouthwatering aroma drifted through the air, slipping straight into the noses of every beastfolk present.
Clusters of wolf cubs had gathered early around the prepared meat.
They stared at the mountain-like carcasses, tails wagging wildly, drool practically spilling as they sniffed and swallowed.
Rory, dressed in the outfit Xarion had prepared for her, walked over and was instantly charmed.
More than a dozen fluffy white wolf pups huddled together, wagging their tails and licking their lips in unison.
It was unbearably cute.
She suddenly had the urge to sneak one back with her... and make Xarion raise it.
The bonfire feast began.
The Wolf King proudly introduced Rory to the clan, then announced with even greater pride that Xarion’s spiritual power had stabilized.
His ability would never lose control again.
The moment those words were spoken, a chorus of wolf howls erupted across the square.
Xarion immediately raised his hand and covered Rory’s ears.
His expression darkened slightly.
"Female Master, their howling is awful. Don’t listen."
Rory didn’t understand what the wolves were howling about.
But judging from Xarion’s expression, she knew—whatever it was, he didn’t like it.
She nodded. "Mm. I won’t listen."
Only then did Xarion’s expression soften a little.
Soon, the massive beasts were set over the fires. The aroma deepened, thick and irresistible.
The wolf clan gathered in the square and began performing their traditional hunting dance—powerful, rhythmic, full of wild energy unique to their kind.
A few wolf clan females came over and invited Rory to join them.
Rory loved lively scenes like this.
After confirming there was no danger, she followed them without hesitation.
Watching Rory head off to dance with the others, Yuel lowered his gaze slightly and opened his communicator.
He sent a message to the group.
Yuel:
Everyone... let’s discuss something.
For the next few days—before Rory blooms—could you let me stay with her?
Yuel:
You can name any conditions you want. As long as it’s within my power, I’ll fulfill it.
And even if it’s not—I’ll find a way.
Nix had already learned that once Terry appeared, Yuel would have to raise the child for three years—and wouldn’t be able to compete with them for Rory’s attention during that time.
Yuel had helped him before. Now it was his turn to return the favor.
Nix replied immediately.
Nix:
I won’t compete with you. No conditions.
Jasper:
Same here.
Xarion:
+1
Vincent:
I can’t come back anyway.
Seeing the replies on his communicator, Yuel lifted his gaze toward Rory—who was laughing and dancing freely among the others—and the corners of his lips curved upward.
Yuel:
Thanks, brothers.
When the beasts over the bonfires were finally roasted to perfection, Yuel carefully sliced off the most tender, golden-browned portions and placed them in front of Rory.
"Rory, you’ve been dancing for so long—you must be hungry. Eat a little more."
He even brought her a cup of warmed fruit juice, the steam curling softly in the cold air.
The mutant beasts of the Snow Domain were exceptionally tender. Once roasted, the meat was rich, juicy, and bursting with flavor.
Rory ended up eating far more than she intended until she was pleasantly, almost uncomfortably full.
The feast continued around them, lively and bright.
Rory turned to Yuel and said, "I think I overate a little... Will you walk with me?"
"Of course."
There was no hesitation in his answer.
Right now, the thing he wanted most was to be alone with her.
After all, for the next three years... he wouldn’t have that luxury.
They left the square and wandered out into the snow.
Night in the Snow Domain was a world of silver and quiet.
The ground shimmered beneath a pale glow, while above them, countless stars scattered across the sky like crushed diamonds.
It was so beautiful it felt unreal—like stepping into a painting.
Rory reached up and gently touched the two small leaves that had sprouted from her head.
"Yuel... when Terry is born, will he hang from you like this too?"
She was genuinely curious.
Would he dangle like in her carving—on a little branch?
Or would he be hidden, like her vine, tucked within her hair?
Yuel glanced at the tiny leaves and answered gently, "Usually, the fruit rests on the father’s chest. That way, it can absorb energy more efficiently. But... if Terry wants to grow on my head, that’s fine too."
Rory blinked, curiosity sparkling in her eyes.
"Will he be able to talk? Or move? And if he stays on your chest... will he be inside your clothes, or outside?"
She was full of questions.
After all, she was about to have a fruit-child of her own.
Yuel’s lips twitched faintly.
"Ordinary fruits can’t speak at first. But our Terry is exceptionally gifted—he already has awareness. I can’t say exactly when he’ll start talking."
"Maybe the moment he appears," he added softly. "It’s possible."
"As for where he stays... that depends on what he prefers."
Rory thought about it seriously. "Then maybe inside your clothes. What if he’s outside and gets knocked off?"
Yuel stepped forward and pulled her into his arms. "Rory... right now, you shouldn’t be worrying about him."
His voice carried a trace of soft grievance. "You should be worrying about me."
After all, Terry hadn’t even been born yet.
Yuel’s tone turned faintly plaintive. "I have to raise him for three years... Rory. Three years."
Three years without being able to compete for her attention.
Hearing the note of grievance in his voice, Rory suddenly had the urge to laugh.
She bit it back quickly.
No—absolutely not.
She wrapped her arms around his waist instead and asked softly, "Isn’t there any other way?"
Yuel shook his head, looking even more pitiful. "No."
The next moment, he bent down and swept her up into his arms. "So, Rory...you should make it up to me now."
And he meant it.
For the next five days, Yuel barely let her leave the room.
Every time she collapsed into sleep from exhaustion, he would feed her a few of his blossoms—helping her recover faster, wake sooner... so he could have her all over again.
He was like a tireless spirit—endless energy, endless desire.
Only when all seven leaves had fully grown on Rory’s vine—and a small bud had finally formed—did Yuel finally relent.
At that point, Rory was certain of one thing: Yuel was the real succubus.
Sitting at the dining table, she shot him a glare while eating.
"When am I going to bloom?"
The bud had already appeared—surely it wouldn’t take long now?
"Tomorrow, most likely," Yuel replied with a gentle smile, his tone soft enough to melt.
"Does blooming need a warm environment?" Rory asked, touching the small bud atop her head. "Should I stay indoors for the next couple of days?"
Yuel knew she had been cooped up for too long.
"It’s fine. It won’t be affected by the environment. If you want to go out later, I’ll go with you."
Just as he finished speaking, his light-brain chimed.
Yuel glanced at it, his brows knitting slightly in mild frustration.
"Rory, rest for a bit. I need to attend a video meeting—I’ll be quick, then I’ll take you out."
Xarion had taken Nix and Jasper out hunting earlier.
They weren’t home.
Rory nodded.
"Go ahead. I’ll be fine here."
"I’ll be quick." Yuel headed off to Xarion’s study to take the call. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
After finishing her meal, Rory wandered over to the indoor waterfall only to see a small wolf pup come rushing in, looking flustered and panicked.
