In Warhammer, My System is Minecraft-Chapter 163: The Cheating Ender Dragon
The feeling of having one's feet firmly on the ground returned.
Zeke stumbled a step, his right foot stepping firmly onto a piece of hard obsidian.
Opening his eyes again, Zeke had already appeared on a 3x3 obsidian platform.
This was the spawn point The End provided to players, preventing them from falling into the void right at the very beginning.
The sky was an eternal darkness. Not far in front of him was a landmass made of End Stone. Endermen roamed across it one after another, occasionally teleporting and disappearing.
The Ender Dragon circled in the sky, its roars mixed with the heavy flapping of its wings.
It was surrounded by ten obsidian pillars. On top of each obsidian pillar sat an End Crystal, providing the Ender Dragon with a continuous stream of healing.
The second to arrive at this place was Trazyn. He looked extremely anxious. "Zeke, the Stormlord is following right behind us—"
"Careful." Zeke grabbed Trazyn's body, which was pitching forward due to inertia, stopping him. "Don't fall off."
Trazyn braked at the edge of the obsidian platform and looked down. A pitch-black, dark void lay beneath, sending a chill down one's spine.
"Don't worry. Although this body is battered, it's not so bad that it lacks the ability to fly. It's still equipped with the most basic anti-gravity engine."
Trazyn took a step back, keeping a wary eye on the void below.
"Now isn't the time to talk about this. The Stormlord has also followed us, and his strength is not beneath mine. It's best if we hide first."
Before Zeke could speak, Trazyn was already flying towards the End island ahead. During the flight, his body wobbled unsteadily, and he almost fell.
Zeke threw an Ender Pearl and teleported right next to Trazyn.
He looked at the Potion of Strength 255 in his backpack, wanting to tell Trazyn that this Stormlord wouldn't be able to withstand a single blow from him.
"The gravity in this area seems to be somewhat anomalous. The anti-gravity engine is heavily restricted," Trazyn explained the reason for his near-crash just now.
"Maybe the gravity in Minecraft is just different from the real universe," Zeke spouted absolute nonsense with a straight face.
Trazyn felt a shadow cast over his head. He had long noticed this massive draconic creature continuously circling above.
The Ender Dragon was obviously attracted by Zeke's player aura. However, Zeke's invisibility spell made it unable to pinpoint his location, leaving it to merely circle overhead.
"Its life energy is extremely weak. This creature doesn't appear to be very powerful," Trazyn made a judgment.
"Are you sure?" Zeke turned around. "You should look up the definition of 'invincible'."
Although the Ender Dragon's stats weren't as high as the Warden's, its mechanics were overpowered. Other than players, no other entities could deal damage to it. That point alone was enough.
"Invincible?" Trazyn's voice carried a trace of skepticism. "The laws of physics are fair to all existence. 'Invincibility' just means the corresponding countermeasure hasn't been found yet."
As the two were talking, a third person finally appeared on the obsidian platform.
Imotekh the Stormlord stepped onto the land of The End.
He stood on the obsidian platform, quickly searching for Zeke's figure, his cold words mixed with a hint of a smile.
"Mortal, cease your fleeing. Duel me, and prove that you are not a coward."
Furthermore, he considered himself very "merciful"; he never took lives in a crushing duel, only beating his enemies until they were crippled and humiliating them before letting them go.
Zeke hid to the side, a bit speechless. He, Zeke, was an upright and proper man; how could he do something as cowardly as running away?
However, your desire for a duel is about to be fulfilled by someone else. Zeke looked at the Ender Dragon, which was now attracted by the Stormlord.
The Stormlord and the Ender Dragon officially met face-to-face.
"Human," the Stormlord's voice carried undisguised mockery. "Is this your little trick? Luring me to this place, using this feeble creature as my opponent."
The Ender Dragon let out a low roar, the sound echoing repeatedly throughout the vast, empty End.
The Stormlord hadn't forgotten that his enemy, the Silent King, was trailing right behind him. He didn't want to tangle too much with this draconic creature.
He raised the Staff of the Destroyer in his right hand, pan-dimensional energy coalescing on the staff's body.
The Stormlord hated using this weapon because it would blast enemies into less than dust, offering far less joy than melee combat.
The Staff of the Destroyer unleashed a monstrous beam of energy, striking the Ender Dragon's head. The torrent of energy poured onto the Ender Dragon's body.
In space, this strike would be enough to pierce the armor of a light cruiser.
The attack from the Staff of the Destroyer caused the air around the Ender Dragon to ripple. When the ripples faded, everything returned to calm.
The Ender Dragon, however, was still just the Ender Dragon—completely unharmed.
The Ender Dragon lowered its head, glaring down at the Stormlord, and spewed a mouthful of purple Dragon's Breath at him.
The Dragon's Breath lingered on the ground, forming a patch of purple cloud that would continuously damage enemies standing within it.
Furthermore, it could be collected in glass bottles to serve as a material for Lingering Potions.
The anti-gravity engine lifted him into the air. The Stormlord swayed his unstable body, his gaze shifting from contempt to serious scrutiny.
No matter how high a creature's defense was, it was impossible for it to have absolutely zero reaction to the Staff of the Destroyer. The Stormlord looked around and quickly spotted the clue.
Atop the ten black towers erected on the ground, there were spinning crystals.
Whenever the Ender Dragon approached, the crystals would shoot out a beam of energy, connecting with the Ender Dragon. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
It seems this is the secret to this creature's invincibility.
The Stormlord released a swarm of Canoptek Scarabs, which flew towards those End Crystals, using self-detonation to destroy them one by one.
The energy beams connecting to the Ender Dragon disappeared, and the Stormlord curled his lips into a smile.
Zeke also smiled. Stormlord, you're actually quite a nice guy, helping me knock out all the End Crystals.
It was just a pity that the End Crystals were only the source of the Ender Dragon's healing ability, not the reason for its invincibility.
The Stormlord wore the Gauntlet of Fire on his right hand, which could emit flames to incinerate enemies.
These flames were not ordinary fire, but an inspiration the Stormlord derived from a C'tan shard known as the Burning One.
"Quite interesting, but it's over," he spoke again. "Among all the opponents I've dueled, you barely manage to rank near the top."
The Stormlord spewed forth the flames.
The Ender Dragon remained completely motionless within the flames. The fire that could incinerate all things merely licked its scales before quickly sliding right off.
Facing the flames head-on, the Ender Dragon launched a diving ram attack.
In his anti-gravity hovering state, he couldn't move at high speeds. The Stormlord's thought of using phase teleportation to escape was also shattered by Zeke's Tangleberrie.
The knockback the Ender Dragon could cause during a dive was absolutely exaggerated—roughly a distance of several dozen blocks.
The Stormlord was sent flying in the direction of the knockback, plummeting into the endless void below.
