I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 86
Chapter 86: Chapter 86
The final monster of the day was the Direflame Wyrm, an elite creature with scales that shimmered like molten lava. Its fiery breath scorched the ground around it, and Remillia had to be careful not to be caught in its flames. After a prolonged battle, she found a weakness in its armor and drove her dagger deep into its chest, extinguishing its life.
With the last of the monsters slain, Remillia took a deep breath, wiping the sweat from her brow. Stephen, who had been diligently storing each fallen creature, approached her with a satisfied grin.
"Ten monsters in one day," he said, impressed. "That’s quite the haul."
Remillia nodded, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Let’s head back. We’ve done enough for today."
As they made their way back to the car, Macaron rejoined them, his own hunt complete. The day had been long and exhausting, but the rewards were worth it. Remillia had once again proven her skills, and Stephen was proud to be her agent, knowing that he represented one of the youngest and finest hunters in the land.
"I’ll make sure the money earned from today’s hunt is sent to you soon."
Remillia nodded, used to the routine by now. She knew Stephen was reliable, always ensuring that her efforts were properly compensated. As they drove back, Remillia looked out the window, the passing scenery blurring into the dusk.
’Looks like tomorrow’s going to be boring again if I stay at my room,’ she mused quietly.
As she walked back to her dorm, she realized that staying cooped up for the rest of the school break would only lead to boredom.
"Guess I’ll just keep hunting monsters for the rest of the break," she mused quietly, already feeling the familiar restlessness creeping in.
During the remainder of her break, Remillia fell into a routine of hunting monsters, training until late at night and sleeping. Each day was filled with intense workout allowing her to grow stronger while keeping boredom at bay. By the time Monday arrived and classes resumed, she was refreshed, both physically and mentally.
As Remillia opened the door to head to class, she was taken aback to see Cypher standing there, waiting for her. For a moment, she was stunned, but then she quickly composed herself, a smile spreading across her face as she realized how much she had missed this routine.
"Cypher? I’m glad you’re back! These past few days were so boring," she said, her excitement clear in her voice.
He grinned back, "Missed me?"
Remillia felt a warmth in her chest, "O-of course I missed you... and the others also," as heat slowly crept up on her cheeks she quickly changed the topic.
"Let’s go to class already! I’m dying to meet them!"
She pulled his arms as they began walking together, the familiarity of the routine comforting her as they made their way to class, catching up on everything that had happened during the break.
As Remillia and Cypher reached the classroom and opened the door, Remillia noticed something strange. All eyes were on them, making her feel uneasy. "Did I do something wrong?" she nervously asked Cypher, who was right behind her but he only shook his head in reply. They continued walking to their seats, and just as Remillia sat down—
Toot! Pop! Toot!
She was startled by the sudden sound of balloons popping and party horns honking. Turning around, she saw Rex enthusiastically setting off party poppers and making a racket.
"Congrats, witch!" Rex shouted with a grin.
Remillia raised an eyebrow, confused. "Has he finally gone—?" She twirled her finger in a circular motion near her head, signaling that she thought he might have lost his mind.
Whitney chuckled, "Pfft, as much as I want to say yes, he’s not crazy."
Remillia pointed at Rex, who was still busy making noise. "Then why is he doing that?"
Angela, laughing, explained, "We made a bet on who would be the first place in the overall rankings, and Rex was the only one who lost. The loser has to do whatever the winner says, so he’s stuck doing that until our professor tells him to stop."
Rex groaned, "Oh, come on! Isn’t this already enough?" He continued pulling out more party poppers.
Christian joined in the teasing, "Your fault, you picked the wrong person," he mocked before bursting into laughter.
Remillia couldn’t help but laugh as well, watching the scene unfold. But Angela’s words suddenly hit her, and she blinked in surprise. "Wait, what? I’m the first in the overall rankings?"
They all turned to look at her in unison. Even Edge, who had been dozing off, perked up and asked, "Haven’t you read the school’s forum?"
Remillia shook her head. "No?"
Before they could explain further, the Professor of Domain Anomaly Analysis entered the classroom, and the room fell silent, leaving Remillia with her thoughts unanswered.
"Settle down now, everyone. I have an—" Professor Orion’s words were abruptly cut off by a loud noise from the back of the classroom.
Pop! Toot! Toot!
The entire class tried to stifle their laughter, their eyes darting toward Rex, who was now sweating bullets under the professor’s glare.
"Mr. Harrison, are you really that thrilled about being ranked 216th in the academy’s overall rankings?" Professor Orion’s voice was dangerously calm, making Rex wince in embarrassment.
Rex swallowed hard, trying to salvage the situation. "I-I’m not only celebrating for myself but also for our top 1."
"Ah... yes," the professor continued, his gaze softening as he turned to Remillia. "I’m sure you’ve all seen your results by now, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. May I congratulate Remillia Lockhart for being ranked number one not only in this classroom but in the entire academy. Keep it up; you are truly outstanding."
Before Remillia could react, Rex shouted, "Whoo! Remi! Remi!" as he set off more party poppers, the loud pops echoing through the room.
The rest of the class quickly joined in, clapping and cheering for Remillia. Except for Ezekiel, he can only shook his head as he was ranked two again. ’Can I not really defeat Remillia in being ranked one?’
Meanwhile, Remillia felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment as she tried to hide her face, not used to being the center of such attention.
Professor Orion raised his hand to quiet the room. "That’s enough, class," he said, but there was a hint of a smile on his face as he looked at Remillia, acknowledging her achievement.
"Since this is the first class after exams ended," Professor Orion began, "I’ll briefly summarize the answers to your exam. You may also ask questions about any item you got wrong. Now, let’s start with this ques—"
Pop!
The sound of yet another party popper going off echoed through the classroom, cutting off the professor mid-sentence.
"Mister Harrison," Professor Orion said, his voice dripping with icy calm.
Rex straightened up in his seat, his face turning a shade paler. "Y-yes, sir?"
"Stop interrupting me, or else I’ll kick you out of this classroom myself," the professor warned, his eyes narrowing dangerously.
Rex gulped, quickly dropping the party popper he had been holding. "I will not do it again, sorry, sir."
"You better be," Professor Orion replied, giving Rex one last stern look before turning back to the class. The room was dead silent now, all eyes focused on the professor, no one daring to even breathe too loudly.
Rex breathed a sigh of relief, glad to have avoided the professor’s wrath, and sat quietly, he can’t stop popping because he lost on a stupid bet!

Before the professor wrapped up the class, he cleared his throat to get everyone’s attention.
"Before we conclude for today," Professor Orion began, "I have an important announcement. As you all know, a new semester means new challenges. Starting this term, there will be a new subject added to your curriculum. These course have been designed to push you further, sharpen your skills, and prepare you for the increasing challenges you’ll face in the field."
A murmur spread through the classroom as students exchanged glances, some curious, others anxious about what these new subject might entail.
"You may now go to Room 306," the professor continued. "Your new professor will be waiting for you there, he’ll be the one explaining your subject."
With that, Professor Orion gave a final nod to the class. "That’s all for today. You’re dismissed."
As the students gathered their things and began to leave, the buzz of conversation filled the room as everyone went to their next class.
Remillia and her friends grouped together, their voices mingling in a lively discussion about their academic break.
"How was everyone’s break?" Remillia asked, looking around at her friends.
Angela was the first to chime in, "It was pretty relaxing. I spent most of it with my family, catching up and just enjoying some downtime."
Whitney nodded, "Same here. I did some training with my guild, but nothing too intense. Mostly just hung out and took it easy."
Rex, looking slightly embarrassed, added, "I tried to train, but honestly, I just ended up playing games most of the time. Needed the mental break, I guess."
Christian laughed, "Typical, Rex. I, on the other hand, spent a lot of time with my family, but I also went on a couple of light missions. It was pretty eventful."
Edge, who had been silent until now, shrugged, "Slept a lot. Did some training. Nothing special."
Cypher, walking beside Remillia, finally spoke up, "I had a few missions, but mostly I was just preparing for this semester. Wanted to make sure I was ready."
Remillia smiled, "Sounds like everyone had a good balance of rest and preparation. I spent most of my break sleeping," she lied, it’s much better if they know that I just lazed all day and doing nothing.
