I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 72: Betrayal
I look at the group of assassins in front of me and grit my teeth. We did not have time for these people. I slam my staff on the ground and suddenly [Iron Thorn] around the leader of the assassin group.
Seeing the thorn, Jullian activates his talent and appears in front of the assassin in a blink of an eye. He swings his sword, but sadly, the assassin manages to jump away sadly for them, Jullian’s sword cuts the thorn and activates its effect.
The assassin screams in pain as the thorn absorbs her life energy. Jullian did not let the effect expire and appeared in front of her once again to cut the thorn one by one. When he cuts them all, I expect the woman to fall down and die, but instead of her, the one fighting my men is the one who falls dead.
I frown at the sight in front of me. What happened? She should be dead.
"I see. That thing is not to hold me down but rather to kill me. You are dangerous."
"Oh my, thank you. Can I ask the reason why you are here?"
Instead of answering me, she only smirks, and I widen my eyes when I see the armor set ablaze. I quickly take out my [Star Globes] and summon [Okami] and [Fenrir].
"Put out the fire and hunt the intruder!"
I need to take care of them before they create too much chaos.
"I will not let you do that!"
She and her group try to stop Okami and Fenrir, but I stop them before they can do that.
"[Paralyzing Light]!"
The [Star Globe] in my hand spins, and a bright light shines from my weapon. A second later, I could see most of the group standing there, paralyzed but not the leader. However, before she can do anything, Jullian takes action. He jumps and stabs the woman with his sword.
His action snaps the others into action and stabs the paralyzed opponent.
I look at the body that Jullian stabs to the ground but to my surprise, she gets up a second later, and the stab wound in her chest closes up at insane speed. She looks at the armory and frowns as it survives the fire. I can also see quite a lot of corpses on the ground.
It looks like Fenrir and Okami manage to kill them all.
"I see. It looks like our plan is not working. You are more dangerous than Lord Charles thought you were. I need to kill you for Lord Charles."
I look at her in confusion. She takes out a crystal from her pocket.
"I don’t trust those people, but they show results. Die and be the stepping stone for my lord!"
Before I can do anything, she stabs her heart with the crystal, and a second later, she releases a massive amount of mana. The [Solomon’s Wisdom] finally caught up with what she was doing, and I slammed my staff on the ground.
"[Nature’s Shield]!"
Tree roots come out of the wall underneath us and cover the woman’s entire body just in time as a massive explosion happens to the point the root crack but does not break apart. After blocking the explosion, I quickly cast all Zodiac Spells.
"[Zodiac: Aries]! [Zodiac: Taurus]! [Zodiac: Gemini]! [Zodiac: Cancer]! [Zodiac: Leo]! [Zodiac: Libra]! [Zodiac: Virgo]! [Zodiac: Scorpio]! [Zodiac: Sagittarius]! [Zodiac: Capricorn]! [Zodiac: Aquarius]! [Zodiac: Pisces]!"
All the symbols of the Zodiac appear above me, and a zodiac wheel appears, unlocking a forbidden spell.
"[Forbidden Spell - Zodiac: Ophiuchus]"
A massive serpent appears from the wheel just in time as a massive monster breaks out of the [Nature’s Shield]. The monster has a humanoid body with four arms. The color of its body is bright red, like fresh blood. I can see a pair of massive horns coming from its head with a lightning cloud in the middle of its horn.
I look at that thing for a second and quickly say.
"Ophiuchus! Take that thing away from here!"
The white snake releases a loud hissing sound and flies at the monster with it to the forest. I can see an explosion from the distance as I see Ophiuchus slam the monster to the nearby cliff a kilometer away from here.
I look at the distance and take a deep breath. The fight started to get even more complicated.

|3rd POV|
Charles looks at Elizabeth, who turns into a monster, and smiles a little. He knows what she uses to summon that thing into reality. He did not like using it on the battlefield, but he also could not stop his commander from using it willingly.
The one creating that thing called it [Demon’s Heart], a condensed [Void Energy] that will corrupt some person’s will and mana. The stronger their will and the bigger their mana reserve, the stronger the monster they can summon.
Elizabeth has an average mana among mages, but her will is so strong that she can summon a strong monster like that giant. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Charles thought that the giant monster would be enough to create a hole in the wall of the fortress and kill many people on it as well. However, to his surprise and horror, Gwyndolin manages to summon a massive creature releasing a cold aura, but unlike the giant cold aura, it does not release malice alongside that cold aura. Rather the aura the snake releases is benevolent and kind.
His mouth opens up when he sees the giant snake fly past them with an insane speed. Coming with the snake is the humanoid monster.
Once again, his information about Gwyndolin is wrong. He thought that he was the only support commander. However, now he knows that not only Gwyndolin is a great healer but also a great summoner.
Charles looks at the old man standing a few hundred meters away from him looking at the scene in front of him with his mouth wide open. Yorlan is a mage that specializes in summoning. He has the title of Grandmaster of Summoning Magic in Gokuya Kingdom. When he sees the giant snake, his blood boils in excitement as this is the first time he sees someone can summon something that powerful.
Yorlan snapped his finger, and a second later, a small bird appeared on the palm of his hand. He whispers at the bird, and a second later, it flies toward Charles.
Charles lets the birds land on his shoulder, and he can hear Yorlan’s voice coming from the bird.
"My lord, may I use my power and talent?"
He can only sigh and say to the bird.
"Later, Yorlan. You can go all out when the signal arrives. I will prepare the stage in a minute. Wait a little bit longer."
After he says that, the bird flies away.
He looks at Barlan and says.
"It is time."
"Yes, my lord! Leave it to me!"
On the wall, Alexander is proud of what his son has done. He can see the other lords look at his son in awe and fear. He wants to run and help his son when a group of assassins somehow get inside the fortress, but he stops himself from going. He is the Lord Commander, and he cannot leave his position.
He is glad his son managed to handle the situation and even remove that giant monster before it could cause too much trouble.
"My lord!"
He snaps from his thoughts and looks at Lord Tarrow.
"What is it?"
"Enemy special unit starts to move, my lord."
Alexander takes out the telescope and sees that the enemy’s special cavalry starts to move. However, his eyes land on a man wearing silver armor and holding a giant lance leading the cavalry unit.
He knows that person as that man’s name is famous. He is known as Wall Breaker because of his talent that lets him create a massive explosion on anything he and his weapon touch. The only weakness of his talent is that it cannot affect anything with flesh and blood. However, it does not mean he is weak against humans. He can touch the ground and make it explode to kill the enemy that surrounds him.
Alexander knows that he cannot let that man get near the wall.
"Lord Tarrow, can I leave the left flank to you? It looks like that man wants to target the left wall."
"Yes, my lord."
Lord Tarrow walks away and leads his men to leave the wall to greet the enemy’s advancement. Alexander also orders two of his captains to hold the enemy from the right and center. True to Alexander’s prediction, Barlan led his men to attack the left wall and expected them to fight against Lord Tarrow and his men.
However, instead of fighting each other, Lord Tarrow and his men change direction and attack the unit protecting the center.
"What?! What is the meaning of this?! Lord Lionheart, do you know why Lord Tarrow is betraying us?!"
Lord Lionheart, who is standing next to him, takes out his sword and says.
"It is time to change sides, my friend. The king we serve did not deserve our loyalty. I’m sorry, and goodbye."
The old lord swings his sword at his former comrade.
