Seeing its target disappear, the Giant Eagle Beast let out a sharp, confused cry. Just before hitting the ground, it flapped its wings a few times and instantly soared back into the air.

The powerful gust of wind from its flapping wings blasted in all directions, kicking up a huge cloud of dust.
The Giant Eagle Beast circled in the sky, utterly baffled. ’Why did the prey I was about to catch suddenly disappear? Did it use a Superpower to hide?’
Staring down at the ground from high above, the unwilling Giant Eagle Beast circled several times but found no trace of its prey.
At this point, it had no choice but to accept that its prey had truly vanished into thin air.

Two juicy pieces of meat, right within its grasp, had just disappeared. As a top predator, the Giant Eagle Beast was extremely frustrated.
Earlier, the Giant Eagle Beast had been soaring thousands of meters in the sky, observing the ground and searching for prey it could strike.

With a flap of its wings and a howl of wind, the Giant Eagle Beast soon became a black dot and disappeared from sight.

On the Mysterious Small Island, shrouded in a vast white mist, two figures appeared out of thin air.
"Getting ambushed by two Mutant Beasts in a row... my luck is a little rotten today! Was it because I found those Indigenous People so easily earlier? Did I use up all my luck for the day?"
Lin Li mumbled after bringing the ice-blue python beast to the Mysterious Small Island.
Just then, the Magical Little Tree in the center of the Mysterious Small Island seemed to sense that a delicious meal had been delivered to its doorstep. Its canopy immediately bloomed with a faint golden Spiritual Light.
Immediately after, the corpse of the ice-blue python beast in front of Lin Li dissolved into wisps of white mist, which were completely absorbed by the Magical Little Tree and its glowing golden Spiritual Light.
Watching the Magical Little Tree as the faint golden Spiritual Light faded from its form, a thought crossed Lin Li’s mind, and a message appeared out of nowhere in his head... *One percent.*
’I’ll put hunting Mutant Beasts to raise my progress on hold for now. I’ll continue after I find a town where the Indigenous People of that world live.’
Filled with curiosity about that unknown Otherworld, Lin Li thought for a moment. Between hunting Mutant Beasts to raise his progress and finding a town of the Indigenous People, he decided to prioritize the latter.
After waiting on the Mysterious Small Island for about five or six minutes, Lin Li felt that the Giant Eagle Beast that had ambushed him should have left by now.
So, he once again walked up to the unremarkable, arch-shaped Stone Gate, which was as black as ink.
"Let’s go," Lin Li said to the Stone Gate in front of him, then reached out his left hand to touch it.
"Huh???"
When Lin Li’s left hand touched the Stone Gate, the expected event—the gate bursting with a dazzling golden light and sending him to the unknown Otherworld, as it had before—did not happen.
"What’s going on? Why is there no reaction at all?"
The Stone Gate, though touched by Lin Li, remained completely still, standing there silently like any ordinary stone gate.

Gazing at the training clothes in his hands, which held so many memories, Lin Li sighed with emotion. Then, with a thought, he stored both sets on the Mysterious Small Island.
