Chapter 470: Maladon [Part-1]

Sigh...

The moment Alphonso finished bragging about the place, we kept walking down the street until we reached one of the biggest buildings in the entire district.

A massive golden sign hung above the entrance.

The Golden Hammer.

The name alone already told me what kind of place it was.

"..."

The building itself looked more like a luxury hotel than a brothel. Five floors tall, wide stone walls, thick pillars near the entrance, and large balconies overlooking the street. The entire place glowed with warm golden lights, which probably explained the name.

There was also a giant statue of a sexy dwarf in lingerie holding a hammer right in front of the entrance.

Except the hammer wasn’t exactly subtle. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"Classy," I muttered.

Alphonso stared at the building like a kid who just entered a candy store.

"Jake... this place is huge."

"No kidding."

But the moment we got closer, the real chaos started.

A group of dwarf women standing near the entrance immediately spotted us.

And once they did, they rushed over.

"Hey handsome! First time here?" one of them said, grabbing Alphonso’s arm before he could react.

Another one slid right next to me and hooked her arm around my shoulder.

"You look like you’ve got money. Come with me, I’ll take good care of you."

Before I could even answer, two more girls appeared behind us.

"Oi! Back off, they’re mine!"

"You wish! I saw them first!"

Sigh...

Within seconds we were surrounded.

Every one of them tried pulling us in a different direction.

One tugged on Alphonso’s sleeve.

Another grabbed my wrist.

One even tried to pull me by the belt.

"You’ll love my room!"

"I’ve got the best ale in the building!"

"Forget them, come with me instead!"

Alphonso looked completely overwhelmed.

"Jake... I think I’m in love..."

"Focus," I told him.

If we stopped here, we’d probably get dragged into five different rooms before we even made it inside.

So I grabbed Alphonso by the shoulder and started pushing forward.

"Excuse me."

"Move."

"Sorry."

The girls complained, of course.

"Hey! Don’t ignore us!"

"You’re missing out!"

"Cheap bastard!"

But eventually we managed to break through the crowd and reach the entrance doors.

The moment we stepped inside, the noise from the street dropped immediately.

The lobby was huge.

Polished stone floors, thick wooden beams across the ceiling, and warm lighting everywhere. It felt more like a high-end tavern than a brothel.

Then I noticed the walls.

They were covered with posters.

Huge posters.

Every single one showed a different dwarf girl.

Some were wearing armor with barely anything underneath. Some were sitting on piles of gold in lewd postures. Others were posing with mugs of ale while smiling like they owned the place.

Each poster had a name and a price listed underneath.

Alphonso let out a low whistle.

"Damn..."

I had to admit, whoever ran this place knew how to advertise.

While Alphonso walked toward the reception desk, I slowed down a bit.

One particular poster caught my attention.

The girl on it looked... different.

She had long silver hair tied into a thick braid, and her eyes looked sharp enough to cut someone in half. She wasn’t smiling like the others either.

Instead, she sat on a carved stone chair with one leg crossed over the other, holding a golden goblet.

The red dress she wore hugged her body perfectly, but she didn’t look like she was trying to show off.

She looked like she didn’t care.

Which somehow made her stand out even more.

I stopped walking.

"Hey," I said.

Alphonso turned around. "What?"

I pointed at the poster.

"I like that one."

He glanced at it for a moment.

Then he shrugged.

"Eh."

"That’s it?" I asked.

"She’s not fancy," he said. "Not my type."

Of course.

Alphonso turned back to the counter and leaned toward the receptionist.

"Hey," he said. "Can I see your high-end catalogue?"

The receptionist was a dwarf woman wearing glasses and a professional smile.

"Of course, sir."

She pulled out a tablet and placed it on the counter.

Alphonso immediately started scrolling.

"Hmmm..."

He paused after a few seconds.

Then his eyes widened.

"Oh my goodness..."

I leaned over slightly to see what he was looking at.

The girl on the screen had a ridiculous figure.

Her chest alone looked like it could knock someone unconscious.

"Watermelons," Alphonso whispered in awe.

Sigh...

A moment later, a large dwarf woman walked out from a nearby hallway.

She looked exactly like the one from the tablet.

And yeah... the comparison was accurate.

"Are you Alphonso?" she asked.

"That’s me," he said instantly.

She grabbed his hand.

"Come here boy~"

Alphonso didn’t even hesitate.

He looked back at me while being dragged away.

"Good luck, Jake!"

And just like that, he disappeared down the hallway.

Sigh...

I turned toward the receptionist.

She adjusted her glasses.

"And what about you, sir? Do you have someone in mind?"

I pointed behind me.

"I want the girl from that poster."

She followed my finger.

The moment she saw which poster I meant, her expression changed slightly.

"Oh..."

She cleared her throat.

"That lady is... quite expensive."

"How expensive?"

"Twenty-five million credits per session."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Why?"

"She belongs to a royal bloodline," the receptionist explained. "Technically, she shouldn’t even be working here. But she has... personal reasons."

Interesting.

Royal bloodline, huh.

I pulled out my device and transferred the money.

I sent twenty-five million.

The moment the payment notification popped up on her screen, the receptionist froze.

Her eyes widened.

Then she quickly stood up.

"S–Sir!"

Her entire tone changed.

"I sincerely apologize for not recognizing you earlier."

Her hands were actually shaking now.

"Well," I said casually, "that was quick."

"Please allow us to provide proper service."

She snapped her fingers.

Two dwarf women immediately walked over.

"Escort our VIP guest to the lounge," the receptionist ordered.

They both nodded.

"This way, sir."

They led me through a side hallway and into another room.

The VIP lounge looked completely different from the main lobby.

Soft lighting, thick carpets, and large comfortable chairs placed around the room. It was quiet too, which was a nice change from the chaos outside.

One of the women gently pushed me down into a large cushioned chair.

The other placed a heavy glass in my hand.

"Strong dwarven whiskey," she said.

I took a sip.

Holy shit.

That burned all the way down.

Meanwhile, both of them moved behind me and started massaging my shoulders.

Their hands were surprisingly strong.

"Are...you...comfortable, sir?" one of them asked.

"Yeah," I admitted.

Honestly... this wasn’t bad.

I leaned back in the chair and took another sip of the drink.

Across the room, I noticed a guarded hallway leading deeper into the building.

Guess that’s where the private suites were.

Which probably meant that’s where she was too.

The royal girl from the poster.

I slowly swirled the drink in my glass.

"Well..." I muttered to myself.

Now I’m actually curious.
