Chapter 471: Maladon [Part-2]

I waited there for about ten minutes.

The two dwarf girls never stopped working the entire time.

One kept kneading my shoulders while the other refilled my glass whenever it got low.

"Another drink, sir?" one of them asked.

"Sure."

She poured more of that strong dwarven whiskey into my glass. I took another sip.

Still burned like hell.

Meanwhile, the other girl leaned a bit closer behind me, her fingers digging deeper into my shoulders.

"You’re very tense," she said softly.

"No kidding."

After the day we’d been having, I wasn’t surprised.

The girls exchanged a glance.

Then one of them suddenly moved around the chair and sat down on my lap.

I blinked.

"Well... that escalated quickly."

She smiled and placed her arms around my neck.

"Just helping you relax."

The other girl laughed quietly behind me.

Before I could say anything else, the one sitting on my lap started moving slowly. It was less like sitting and more like... dancing.

Sigh...

The lounge was quiet. The lighting was soft. I’d already had a few strong drinks.

So yeah.

My body reacted.

"Sir," the girl whispered with a playful grin. "You seem to be enjoying yourself."

"Maybe a little," I admitted.

She kept moving.

Honestly, if nobody interrupted us, things probably would’ve gotten messy right there in the chair.

Then the door opened.

"Sir, I must apolo—"

The receptionist suddenly froze mid-sentence.

Her eyes went straight to the scene in front of her.

The girl sitting on my lap.

My hands on her waist.

And the very obvious situation forming.

Her face instantly turned red.

"I–I sincerely apologize!"

The girl on my lap hopped up quickly.

"Sorry, boss!"

The receptionist bowed her head slightly while trying not to look directly at me.

"Your appointment is ready. Please follow me."

"Well," I muttered, finishing the rest of my drink. "Perfect timing."

The two girls quickly stepped aside while the receptionist gestured toward the hallway.

"This way, sir."

I stood up and followed her out of the lounge.

The hallway beyond the VIP area was long.

Much longer than I expected.

Rows of doors lined both sides of the corridor, each one decorated differently. Some had metal engravings, others had glowing runes carved into the frames.

And from behind several of those doors...

Yeah.

There were definitely people inside.

Muffled voices.

Soft laughter.

The occasional loud thump against a wall.

Guess business was good tonight.

We kept walking deeper into the hallway.

The further we went, the quieter it became.

The lighting also changed. The regular lamps slowly gave way to softer golden lights built directly into the walls.

I also noticed something else.

The air smelled different.

A sweet scent lingered in the hallway. Not strong enough to be overwhelming, but noticeable.

"What’s that smell?" I asked.

"Special incense," the receptionist replied. "It helps guests relax."

Makes sense.

Eventually we reached the end of the corridor.

And right away, I noticed the difference.

The door waiting there looked nothing like the others. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

It was huge.

Dark polished metal, exquisite dwarven carvings, and small glowing runes along the edges. It looked less like a brothel door and more like something you’d see in a noble’s mansion.

The receptionist stopped in front of it.

"This is the room."

She tapped a small panel on the wall.

The runes lit up briefly.

Then the door slid open smoothly.

Standing inside was a short dwarf woman wearing a neat maid uniform.

She bowed the moment she saw us.

"Welcome."

The receptionist stepped aside.

"This guest is here to see your master."

The maid turned toward me and bowed again.

"Please follow me, sir. My master is waiting."

Master?

I blinked.

Okay.

That word alone made this situation feel way fancier than it should.

I stepped inside while the receptionist stayed behind.

The heavy door slid shut with a quiet thud.

Then I looked around.

Holy shit.

This place didn’t look like a brothel room at all.

It looked like a luxury apartment.

A large living room stretched out in front of me. Sleek metal furniture filled the space, each piece decorated with glowing runes. Several floating display screens hovered near one wall, quietly showing different bits of information.

Expensive decorations covered the shelves.

Statues.

Crystal containers.

Metalwork so detailed it almost looked like art.

"Sir," the maid said politely. "This way."

As I followed her further inside, I noticed something else.

Another maid.

She was quietly cleaning one of the tables in the corner of the room.

I stopped walking for a moment.

"You’ve got another maid?" I asked.

The maid nodded.

"Yes."

Now I was genuinely confused.

This didn’t feel like visiting a prostitute anymore.

This felt like visiting a noble.

What the hell did I pay for exactly?

The maid continued walking down another hallway connected to the living room.

"My master is in her private chamber."

I followed behind her.

A few seconds later we reached another door.

She pushed it open gently.

"Please enter."

I stepped inside.

The room was huge.

Probably bigger than the VIP lounge I’d been sitting in earlier.

A massive bed stood near the center of the room, covered in soft fabrics and embroidered blankets. The walls were decorated with detailed dwarven craftsmanship, and crystal-like lights hung from the ceiling, filling the room with a warm glow.

The entire place smelled faintly of expensive perfume.

And sitting near the window...

Was her.

The silver-haired dwarf woman from the poster.

She sat elegantly in a large chair, one leg crossed over the other.

The red lingerie she wore left very little to the imagination. Thin fabric hugged her curves perfectly, highlighting her slender figure without hiding much at all.

Her long silver braid rested over one shoulder.

The moment I entered the room, she looked up.

Her eyes met mine instantly.

Honestly... the poster hadn’t done her justice.

For a few seconds, neither of us said anything.

I just stood there staring like an idiot.

Yeah.

Now I understood why she cost twenty-five million credits.

This woman didn’t look like a prostitute.

She looked like royalty.
