I reincarnated as an elf .......and married the yandere villainess.-Chapter 68:Interrupted
Atheline’s gaze went outside as moonlight filtered into the room. The palace had gone quiet and Atheline’s hand was rubbing Lilith’s back who was lying on top of him naked.

It was past midnight and they had both cleaned themselves and were just lying on the bed together.
"Open," she said sweetly a small blue berry towards his mouth sweetly.
Atheline opened. She dropped it in and leaned to pick another.
"Now feed me," she gave him a strawberry.
Atheline took it and placed it on her lips. She bit half of it and Atheline leaned it to lick the taste of her lips.
"Sweet."
She chuckled.
"How are you feeling?" He asked with his free hand rubbing her back lightly.
"My body is strong, I’ve already healed," she said and licked her lips," you want to do it again?"
He shook his head.
"You’re insatiable."
They had been going at it like animals, and Atheline knew if they didn’t do it again time would pass them.
They fell into a comfortable routine as they idly fed each other fruits until they both paused their gaze going to the windows.
"I thought they wouldn’t be coming," Atheline said.
She nodded irritation flickering behind her eyes.
"They just never stop after a loss," she said and sat up wrapping the sheet around herself.
"Do you have an idea who they might be?" He asked.
She nodded.
"I’m sure they’re remnants or the resistance, " she said while rolling her eyes," they don’t want the child of a whore as their queen. "
Atheline’s eyes widened. He knew she had it rough but this was on another level. He felt as though he had only touched the surface of everything.
The window shattered.
Three figures slipped through the opening barely making any noise. If both of them were too weak they wouldn’t even hear any of them enter.
To add on to it, the room was dimly lip aiding their entry.
The group clearly thought they were still asleep.
She moved but one assassin was faster. A blade sliced through the air for his throat.
It never reached him. Shadows covered the room one catching the blade.
The first assassin froze, fear taking over his cognition. She stepped forward.
The room fell silent then she was standing beside him looking at him with mild irritation.
".. you choose the wrong night," she said coldly.
His head cleanly fell off his body and rolled down to Atheline’s feet.
The second attacker lunged towards her in desperation after seeing the death that awaited them.
Atheline never saw her move. Her hand was on the assassin’s throat then a second later he was falling with a badly twisted neck.
Atheline noticed the small smile as her hand clenched the blood dripping on the floor.
The third assassin tried to run away but only managed to make two steps.
"Stay."
Shadows wrapped around him. One forcefully opened his mouth before he could bite down and removed the poison.
All the movements were done with such fluidity that would have gone unnoticed if Atheline wasn’t seriously observing.
She approached him slowly and stopped a step away from the now kneeling assassin.
"Who sent you?" she asked in an eerily soft voice.
The assassin was too terrified to even answer.
"Thats alright. "
She reached up to his shoulder almost playfully as though she was wiping a speck of dust from his shoulder.
"Your head will do."
The darkness surrounding the room receded taking the three bodies with it. The room returned to its previous look.
Even the splutter of blood had all disappeared.
She turned back to him as though none of that mattered and hugged him the moment she got near him. Atheline hugged her back.
"Sorry," she said, a pout forming softly, " we were interrupted."
She kissed his lips as though trying to satiate him.
"This won’t happen again."
Atheline chuckled.
"It’s alright, I don’t mind. You looked beautiful while doing it," he whispered against her lips.
She smiled up at him.
"Then I should kill more."
Atheline chuckled.
"That would interrupt our time together too much."
He looked at her a thought that had been disturbing him lately coming to mind and Atheline thought it was the best moment to ask her.
"How strong are you?" He asked her," You don’t have to answer."
She smiled and leaned her head against him.
"I’m at Mystic, I managed to have a power boost during our consummation," she smirked to herself, " we are really meant to be."
’She is freaking strong she’s three levels above me’
"You are really talented, " he complimented her.
She didn’t respond to that.
"Shall we change rooms," she abruptly changed the subject.
Atheline frowned but nodded.
He glanced at the broken windows and sighed. They had to change rooms during their wedding blues.
No guards or maids came to interrupt them even in their move since the assassins had been too quiet and the killing was also silent.
Despite this, something flashed through Atheline’s mind.
’How had they entered the palace’
Entering the palace required permission and invitations from the crown family itself.

The next morning Atheline woke up feeling the warmth he was used to had disappeared. He turned to his right only to find her missing.
It was then that he noticed he had a shirt on, which he knew he didn’t have when they went to sleep.
Atheline was just about to get out of bed when the door opened.
Lilith walked in fully composed wearing a dress that dragged behind her. She looked like the queen she was, calm and untouchable.
She sat on the bed beside him and smiled before leaning in and kissing his cheek.
"Good morning," she said smiling.
Atheline smiled back.
"Morning, you woke up early?" He said.
He hadn’t heard her leave his side or even the room. She turned to the door and waved forward.
A bunch of servants entered the room, startling him. Atheline turned to look at them with curiosity in his eyes.
In one of the servant’s hands was a medium-sized wooden box covered with a dark cloth.
Atheline looked at her, he could practically feel the excitement rolling out of her in waves despite how composed she looked.
He turned to look at the servants her excitement also infecting him.
"Since it’s our first morning after you know all that," she continued almost playfully," I thought I should give you something."
The servants hesitated just for a second at her words. The carrier stepped forward from the group, and another followed beside him.
