I Created Scientific Magic-Chapter 681 - 563: Moon Landing Plan
Chapter 681 -563: Moon Landing Plan
Given the wizards’ keen interest in this new realm, Lynn detailed some characteristics of the gods and non-confidential intelligence.
The entire wizard promotion system had also become very apparent now.
Official Wizard — Initially mastering magic power, capable of controlling some elements to induce simple chemical reactions.
Grand Wizard — Controlling force fields, possessing domains, capable of controlling most elements, and completing complex chemical reactions.
Legendary Wizard — Achieving the transformation from carbon-based life to energy life, capable of controlling, disassembling, and mimicking all elements, and further expanding their own domain to the extreme that it could cover an entire city!
Clearly, all of this was a preparation for condensing divinity, entering the Divine Realm, and for becoming a deity!
“Quantum, dimensions, laws…” Harrov murmured the three key aspects of becoming a deity mentioned in Lynn’s speech, his eyes flashing with fervent light.
Since their breakthrough to the legendary realm, they had lost their direction for a while, and what steps to take next and how to continue their advancements had undoubtedly become their most pressing issue.
Now, Lynn’s description of the Divine Realm undoubtedly became the best reference.
The other wizards were discussing animatedly, but they were far from exploring the Divine Domain, so the topic most discussed was quantum theory. Since Lynn had already succeeded in his breakthrough, it meant that this Star of Magic’s quantum theory was absolutely correct.
It seemed that the foundation of magic needed to be dismantled and rebuilt!
Even if they were reluctant to believe, Jeffrey, Alade, Sanchez, and a few others had to admit that the truth might indeed throw dice, after all the facts were right before their eyes!
“By the way, how is that dragon you caught? Did you interrogate it to find out anything?” Lynn suddenly remembered the skeletal giant dragon captured by the council, which was one of the biggest gains of this war.
Being a minion of the Lord of the Necromancers and a legendary high-class undead, the opponent should know quite a bit.
“That bone dragon has been very honest, basically answering whatever we ask…” Vittorio answered with a shrug.
Perhaps realizing that its master, the Lord of the Necromancers, had perished, the Dragon of Cold Winter, Walok, became unexpectedly submissive; it surrendered before we could even employ any interrogation methods, showing no intention of resistance and even expressing its willingness to abandon the darkness and convert to their deity.
“Could this be a trap?” Aurora asked with slight concern.
Logically, the opponent should have been a devout believer of the Lord of the Necromancers, and yet it was so cooperative and so easily surrendered, even willing to convert?
“That is unlikely,” Vittorio asserted confidently.
The Dragon of Cold Winter, Walok, had divulged many things, such as how the Lord of the Necromancers’ method of creating ‘believers’ was very direct—by killing creatures and converting their bodies, rituals held within their souls left marks, using these deep connections to control the ‘believers’.
“So, these undead aren’t actually very loyal to the Lord of the Necromancers, but rather hold quite a bit of resentment?” Aurora said, surprised.
“Not entirely, as lower-class undead lack the ability to resist its control, but many high-class undead voluntarily transformed into undead, all for gaining greater power,” Vittorio explained.
Upon hearing this, the wizards present couldn’t help but be astonished; to pursue greater power by actively giving up life and becoming an undead, that could only be described as madness.
However, Harrov and others could understand; strictly speaking, they were no longer human themselves, their bodies were merely mimicking elements. On the surface, they appeared no different from other carbon-based creatures, but internally, their life levels had already transformed.
“Whether it’s true or not, I will confirm it again by finding it,” Lynn said succinctly. Having lost the protection of a god, with his own abilities, searching the memories of a legendary being wasn’t too difficult.
“Besides that, did that bone dragon say anything else? Was there anything about the main world?” Lynn asked again, as this was what concerned him the most.
“Basically the same as what the Star Messenger said, the various gods of the main world together probably exceed a hundred,” Vittorio said with a grave expression.
The Lord of the Necromancers wasn’t very strong among these gods, being a deity with modest divine power. After leaving the Divine Realm and descending into this world, he could probably only exert a weak level of divine power.
Above him, there were powers with strong divine power, great divine power, and even chief gods capable of establishing a pantheon!
Lynn also furrowed his brow. Unlike Moon Goddess Diana, who had actively severed ties with the main world and then mysteriously died on this side, the Divine Realm of the Lord of the Necromancers was still in the main world. After its death, the realm would inevitably be divided and fought over, and it was possible that new gods might take notice of this universe.
“Those gods are not a monolith; there might be possibilities for division!” Harrov reminded.
The Overlord of the Dead’s fall should have displayed some of their power, deterring the gods of the main world from rash actions, and they might choose to ally with some gods to pit one against another!
“How about that Star Messenger? You killed the Overlord of the Dead, which must have surprised him,” Harrov asked with a smile.
Since the God of Life and Creation had sent the messenger, it might be worth trying to recruit him.
“That crow has died, or to be precise, it self-destructed,” Lynn shook his head, interrupting Harrov’s fantasy, and briefly recounted what he had seen using Divine Arts to backtrack ‘time’.
Harrov and the others were astonished, and soon they also realized that something was off.
“It seems this matter should be related to Alade,” Vittorio said confidently.
After all, she was undoubtedly the greatest benefactor from this battle. Previously, the entire foreign realm had been under the Overlord of the Dead’s control, which posed a massive threat to Alade who had fled there.
And the only one who knew all the locations of the Space-Time Gates was her!
Vittorio even suspected that the Overlord of the Dead was deliberately brought over by her, to take revenge on the council for expelling her from this world.
Lynn nodded, agreeing with Vittorio’s speculation, which was exactly what he had thought.
“Speaker Lynn, I wonder if you can now locate the foreign realm, and open a Space-Time Gate to there like the Overlord of the Dead did?” Aurora asked thoughtfully, clearly annoyed and frustrated at being manipulated by Alade.
If it were possible to locate the foreign realm and exact some revenge, like dumping the council’s remaining nuclear arsenal there, letting Alade taste the wrath of a nuclear baptism would be satisfying.
“Regarding the establishment of Space-Time Gates, I already have some ideas; it should be related to Quantum Entanglement, but more experiments are still needed,” Lynn explained. “As for locating the foreign realm, I can’t do that.”
If his split soul was still here, perhaps he could use that spiritual connection to find the coordinates of the foreign realm, but now, that was impossible.
“Then she really got away with it!” Harrov said helplessly, since they couldn’t locate the foreign realm, dealing with Alade would have to be postponed.
Lynn shook his head, moving past this topic, and turned to Rafael and others, asking, “These days, have any remnants of the church and the empire made any moves?”
Although the entire continent had become a Divine Realm, it was far too vast, and his spiritual power was limited, unable to cover everything.
Unless something significant occurred, or someone called his name, he could only then sense it and project his consciousness there.
“There have indeed been quite a few remnants of the church trying to take advantage of the situation, but they apparently didn’t expect us to resolve the invasion of the foreign realm undead so quickly, so they have already been dealt with,” Rafael said with a smile, then paused, his expression growing serious before he spoke again. “Lords, do you remember the native from the foreign realm, the halfling prisoner we detained?”
“What about him?” Lynn certainly remembered that; Rafael and others had captured a prisoner through the Space-Time Gate from the foreign realm earlier, and the spiritual wizards extracted quite a bit of intelligence from his mind.
Since the war on the foreign realm was over, and considering that he was just a civilian with no magical abilities and couldn’t cause much trouble, the council was contemplating releasing him after brainwashing him.
“The wizard guarding him reported that this halfling prisoner has been engaging in regular prayers over the past few days,” Rafael said hesitantly.
“Isn’t he just a follower of the Moon Goddess Diana? There’s nothing strange about that, right?” Alade said indifferently.
“It’s not that simple,” Rafael shook his head, then looked at the assembly, “Has anyone felt that the moon has been somewhat unusual recently?”
The moon? The wizards present were stunned for a moment, not quite understanding what Rafael meant.
“According to some wizards studying astronomy, the brightness of the moon has altered significantly these past days, and it also triggered a powerful magic tide, which usually only happens during a Moon Festival, and this situation is still intensifying,” Rafael explained.
Lynn raised an eyebrow; these days he had been busy studying arcane laws and hadn’t paid attention to changes in the moon’s brightness, and regarding the magic tide, he had felt it but thought it was a consequence of his antimatter cannon altering the orbit of the Eternal Star…
“Is it Alade?!” Harrov immediately stood up from his seat; he hadn’t forgotten that among the church’s names for Alade, one was Moon God.
When they had attacked Holy City, an unusual spectacle of the sun and moon together in the sky even appeared!
“It looks like we need to go take a look ourselves!” Lynn said thoughtfully and decided immediately.
