I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 309 Felix’s Answers
Drake sniffled and looked up at her. "Even if they call us naughty?"
Alina smiled, brushing his soft hair back. "Even then. Because how we behave shows who we are, not who they are. We can’t control how others act, but we can always choose to be good and kind."
Sable raised his small hand shyly. "Like when I share my crayons even if they don’t share back?"
Alina nodded warmly. "Exactly, Sable. You still do what’s right because that’s your heart, not theirs."
The babies seemed to think about that seriously, even Boo, who crossed his arms and mumbled, "Fine, I’ll respect Professor Egg next time. But only a little."
Alina laughed softly, feeling proud of them all. "That’s all I ask, Boo. Just a little kindness can change everything."
She straightened her back and clapped her hands lightly, her tone turning cheerful again. "Alright, everyone, back to work! Let’s resume writing," she said with a bright smile. "And once you finish, you’ll get your cookies later, okay?" 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
A chorus of tiny groans filled the room, followed by exaggerated sighs and puffed cheeks. But the temptation of warm cookies and the promise of sweet rewards was far too strong. One by one, the babies straightened up in their seats, gripping their pencils with new determination.
"Fineee," Boo muttered dramatically, glowing faintly as he began scribbling again.
Drake leaned over his notebook, his tongue sticking out as he wrote with fierce focus, whispering, "Do this for cookies... do this for cookies..." like it was a sacred mantra.
Even Luna, who looked unimpressed at first, finally began writing quietly, her little ears twitching.
Ten minutes passed in peaceful silence, broken only by the soft scratch of pencils, Boo’s occasional sighs, and the rustle of paper.
Then Alina looked up at the clock and smiled. "Time’s up! Everyone, put down your notebooks here on my desk," she said warmly.
One by one, the little ones came forward, some proudly, some nervously, stacking their tiny notebooks in front of her.
Drake flew up to place his first, puffing his chest proudly. Boo followed, pretending to trip midair for dramatic flair. Vlad Jr. bowed slightly as he placed his notebook. Sable tiptoed quietly, cheeks flushed, while Rocky held his notebook with both hands like a precious treasure.
Alina smiled as she looked at the pile of colorful notebooks. Her heart swelled at how earnest they all looked, though their wide eyes were clearly fixed not on her, but on the cookie box sitting innocently on her desk.
"Alright then," she said softly, hiding a smile as she picked up the first notebook. "Let’s see how everyone has written."
Her fingers brushed over the cover of the first book—Felix’s. It had doodles of peaches and clouds all over it, along with his name written in bold, crooked letters.
"Felix’s work first," she announced with a teasing smile, and the class leaned forward eagerly, waiting to hear what the results and the cookie verdict would be.
Alina couldn’t help but smile as she began reading Felix’s answers aloud, her voice soft with amusement.
"Alright, let’s see what Felix wrote," she said, her eyes scanning the first page. "Question one: Describe the sky."
She read slowly, "’The sky was blue and sometimes black, though I saw once it’s become pink. I love sky but I am happy on ground.’"
The classroom fell silent for a moment, and then Boo whispered in awe, "That’s... deep."
Drake blinked, looking impressed. "He loves sky but he’s happy on ground... that’s poetry!"
Even Vlad Jr. nodded approvingly. "Quite profound, actually."
Alina pressed her lips together to hide a laugh, warmth blooming in her chest. "Felix, that’s a very thoughtful answer," she said gently. "You wrote from your heart, and that’s the best kind of writing."
Felix beamed, his cheeks turning pink. "I just said what I think," he murmured, scratching his head.
"Now, question two," Alina continued. "Write five words that start with S." She looked down at the notebook and chuckled softly. "Sky, Sun, Solo, Sky moon, Snacks."
"Sky moon?" Luna blinked, confused. "Is that even a word?"
Felix nodded seriously. "Yes. It’s when the moon and the sky are best friends."
Half the class gasped, clearly inspired by the logic.
Alina smiled, touched by the innocence. "Well," she said warmly, "I’ve never heard it described that way before, but I like it very much."
Then she turned to the final question. "And now, name five animals you know."
Her voice softened with a hint of laughter as she read the list. "Fox. Dragon. Wolf. Bat. Peacock."
Boo tilted his head. "Dragon? That’s cheating. We have one right here!"
Drake puffed up proudly. "Still counts!"
Rocky raised a timid hand. "Teacher, what’s a peacock?"
Alina smiled and gently explained, "It’s a very beautiful bird that spreads its feathers like a rainbow when it dances."
"Oooh!" half the class said in unison, eyes sparkling.
Alina closed the notebook carefully and gave Felix a fond look. "Well done, Felix. That was lovely. I can see you put a lot of thought into it."
Felix grinned, looking like he might float away with happiness.
"And," Alina added, reaching into the cookie box with a warm smile, "for such beautiful answers... three cookies!"
Felix’s eyes widened like glowing lanterns. He immediately hopped up from his seat and hurried toward her desk, his tiny feet pattering against the floor.
"Here you go, Felix," Alina said kindly, placing the cookies into his little hands. "And you can also pick any two snacks from the bag, since you wrote such thoughtful answers."
The entire class froze.
Every baby’s gaze slowly shifted toward the large snack bag sitting on her desk—wrappers, juice boxes, and small paper packs peeking out from inside like treasure waiting to be claimed.
Sable’s soft shadow quivered nervously under his desk. Luna’s wolf ears stood straight up. Drake leaned forward on his chair, his tail twitching with tension. Even Boo, glowing faintly, clasped his ghostly hands together in suspense.
’Don’t take the good ones... don’t take the good ones...’ their little faces silently prayed.
As Alina expected, Felix took his time. He leaned over the snack bag, scanning carefully like a food expert at a royal banquet.
