I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 282 Teacher is Crying??
Inside the classroom, the atmosphere was anything but calm. Drake sat at his desk with his arms crossed, his cheeks puffed out in full dragon-sized frustration, while Luna beside him tapped her claw impatiently on the table, her tail flicking like an angry metronome.
"Oh my moon! Did Teacher not miss us at all?" Luna huffed, glaring at the door. "Otherwise, she’d have come inside by now!"
Drake let out a dramatic sigh, throwing his arms into the air. "Oh my dragon tail! It feels like my mom and dad all over again! Once they start talking, they never stop!" He slumped over his desk, groaning. "One time, I tugged my mom’s dress for five whole minutes, but they ignored me like I was air!"
"Yeah, same here!" Rocky and Kelpie said together, nodding so hard their hair wobbled.
Just then, Boo—who had been floating upside down near the ceiling—gasped so loudly that everyone looked up. His silver eyes sparkled with mischief. "Lucien! Is your dad... marrying Miss Alina?!"
Lucien blinked, startled. "W-What?"
Boo clasped his tiny ghostly hands together, spinning dramatically. "Oh my ghostly goodness! That means Miss Alina will become your mommy!" His voice cracked with excitement, eyes shimmering with imaginary tears.
Lucien’s face lit up instantly, his crimson eyes sparkling like tiny rubies. "Really??" he said, sounding so hopeful that even Luna’s scowl softened.
Sable, sitting at the back with his small hands clutching his notebook, began to tremble with excitement too. "Miss Alina... a mommy?" he whispered shyly, eyes wide and dreamy.
Meanwhile, Boo stopped spinning midair, his lower lip suddenly quivering. "But... then I won’t have a mommy," he said quietly, his little ghost body drooping like a sad balloon.
Kelpie gasped, immediately splashing a droplet of water at him. "Don’t be sad, Boo! You can share mine! My mom says water love is endless!"
Boo blinked at him, sniffled dramatically, and whispered, "Endless... water love?"
"Yes!" Kelpie said proudly. "You can even splash it on others when you’re happy!"
Drake groaned, covering his face. "No! No more splashing! I don’t want a swimming pool under my desk!"
Luna rolled her eyes. "Boo, stop crying. Miss Alina loves you too much to forget you, okay?"
Boo perked up slightly, wiping his invisible tears. "You think so?"
Lucien nodded firmly. "Teacher loves all of us. Even when we make chaos."
Vlad Jr., who had been elegantly polishing his little mirror, raised a brow and said smoothly, "If there truly is a wedding between our teacher and the principal, I expect a royal invitation—with gold edges."
Drake grinned. "Yeah, yeah! And I’ll bring the fire for fireworks!"
Luna sighed, pinching her nose. "You’ll burn the kindergarten before they even get married."
Boo gasped again, spinning in place. "Wait, if they get married... will we get a day off school???"
Everyone froze. Then Drake slammed his desk, eyes wide. "That’s it! We need to help the Principal marry Miss Alina fast!"
Luna groaned. "You’re all insane."
Meanwhile, just outside, Alina laughed softly at something Dante said—and the sound of her laughter drifted through the door. Instantly, all the babies froze mid-chaos.
"She’s here," Lucien whispered, relief glowing in his voice.

Alina pushed open the door gently and stepped inside, her voice warm and cheerful. "Good morning, sweethearts!"
But instead of the usual chorus of Good morning, Teacher! the room stayed eerily quiet. Every baby sat stiffly at their desk, eyes down, faces serious. Boo was even pretending to read his notebook—upside down.
Alina froze, blinking in confusion. "Sweethearts?" she called again, softer this time. But not a single child looked up. Even Boo’s usual twirling had stopped.
Her heart squeezed. Oh no... are they angry?
She tried again, forcing a trembling smile. "Good morning, little ones?" Still nothing.
The silence was so unnatural it made her throat tighten. The same babies who usually greeted her with shouts, giggles, and flying chaos were now sitting like disciplined little statues. She placed her folder on the desk carefully, afraid to make a sound.
She looked around helplessly—Drake pretending to doodle, Luna glaring at her desk as if it had betrayed her, Vlad Jr. elegantly staring out the window, and Boo balancing a pencil on his head with suspicious concentration.
They’re ignoring me, she thought miserably. Oh my goodness... they’re really angry.
Her chest ached, her fingers nervously fiddling with her sleeve. "Alright," she said softly, forcing a wobbly smile. "Maybe Teacher has to sit quietly today too."
She tried to laugh, but it came out weak. Her eyes shimmered with tears she quickly blinked away. She hadn’t realized how much she’d missed them—how much their laughter and noise had filled her days until that very moment.
At the back, Sable, who had been quietly scribbling in his notebook, peeked up. He caught sight of Alina’s glossy eyes, and his heart squeezed painfully. His little hands trembled as he looked around at the others, panicking.
Teacher’s going to cry! he thought, his lip wobbling.
He jumped up so suddenly that everyone startled. "Teacher!!!" he cried, nearly tripping as he ran forward. "Don’t cry!!"
Boo gasped dramatically. "She was crying?!"
Drake stood up, frowning. "Wait—Teacher, are you crying because we ignored you?"
Alina blinked, quickly wiping her eyes. "N-no, I just—"
But it was too late. Sable threw himself into her arms, clinging tightly. "I missed you, Teacher! I missed you sooo much! I didn’t want to ignore you, but they said it’s revenge!"
Alina was startled for a second, Sable had somehow jumped straight into her arms but she held him close, her heart overflowing with warmth.
"Traitor!!" Boo shouted, pointing dramatically. "You were supposed to stay strong until lunch!!"
Luna’s ears drooped as she sighed. "Boo, you made her cry."
"I did not! I was protesting with emotion!" Boo said defensively, crossing his little ghostly arms.
Drake rubbed the back of his neck, muttering, "Aww man... Teacher, I was just acting. Don’t really cry, okay? I hate seeing girls cry—it makes my tail feel weird."
Kelpie splashed a bit of water out of guilt. "We missed you too, Teacher... even my water cried last night!"
Vlad Jr. sighed dramatically, brushing his hair back. "Yes, we... collectively missed you. Though I, of course, handled it with royal composure."
Alina laughed through her tears, her heart so full it hurt. "Oh, my sweet troublemakers... you all missed me that much?"
