"I am Nathan Leafcastle’s mother, an old acquaintance of Grandma Wave. I heard she fell ill, so I came to visit."

Liliana Davis introduced herself with a sentence, walked into the ward, went to Grandma Wave’s side, and the assistant handed the gifts she brought to Mrs. Lee. Mrs. Lee was busy getting chairs for the two to sit.

Without taking a seat, Liliana Davis bent slightly, smiled, and spoke.

"Auntie, do you remember me?"

Grandma Wave frowned as she looked at her for a few moments and shook her head.

"I am Nathan’s mom, Liliana Davis. Have you forgotten?"

"Nathan’s mom?" Grandma Wave lifted her face and carefully looked at her for a while, "Nathan was a nice child, but quite unfortunate... His parents divorced, but he was such a good kid..."

"I’m sorry, Mrs. Davis." Mrs. Lee was busy explaining on the side, "Grandma Wave’s mind is not well, sometimes clear, sometimes confused, please don’t mind."

Liliana Davis straightened up, "I have other things to attend to, so we’ll leave now."

As Mrs. Lee escorted the two out of the ward, Liliana Davis and her assistant headed to the elevator. Linda, after taking a phone call, approached her.

As soon as she finished speaking, the elevator doors opened, and a tall, handsome young man came out of the elevator carrying fruits and a thermos box, brushing past the two of them.

Stepping into the elevator, Liliana Davis spoke softly.

"Kris Cooper... Who is he?"

Outside the elevator, Kris Cooper, who had taken a few steps, vaguely heard someone mentioning his name and turned his face in confusion.

As far as he could see, the elevator doors were already closed.

He faintly heard them discussing his name earlier, could they know him?

"Grandma!" Kris Cooper put the things he was holding onto the table. Seeing the fruits already on the table, he raised his brows in curiosity and sat by Grandma Wave’s side, "What were you saying?"

Grandma Wave turned her face, her gaze falling on his face, "Young man, who are you?"

"You don’t remember me?" Kris Cooper laughed as he spoke, "I am Kris Cooper, Vera’s boyfriend. I came to see you a few days ago!"

Grandma Wave looked at him in confusion for a while, then shook her head, "I can’t remember!"

"It’s alright." Kris Cooper smiled, "Are you thirsty, do you want to drink some water?"

The elderly lady just shook her head, her gaze once again turning towards the window, "I want to go home, I miss my flowers, my fish, and Vera, and also Walter, why has he been away on business for so long and hasn’t come back to see me..."

Upon hearing this, Kris Cooper’s smile froze momentarily.

Seeing Mrs. Lee return after fetching water, he quickly stood up and walked out of the ward, heading to the doctor’s office.

"Mr. Cooper?" The doctor recognized him immediately, stood up courteously, and hurriedly invited him to sit, "I was just thinking about calling you or Miss Wave."

Kris Cooper couldn’t help but frown and immediately asked worriedly.

"Is there a problem with Grandma Wave’s health?"
