Chapter 497: Groom Mentally Counting Guests

Garion stepped out of the room and immediately saw the crowd gathered for his wedding.

There were a lot of people.

Most of them were members of God Gym, mainly his disciples, both the core ones and those from the outer groups.

The moment they saw him, they reacted at once.

Some raised their hands, some bowed slightly, and others simply grinned, their expressions open and relaxed.

Garion walked forward at a steady pace, acknowledging them with a small nod.

Then his eyes shifted.

They landed on Dahlia.

She had been sulking before, but now she looked much better.

There was no trace of sadness on her face. Instead, she stood there with her arms crossed, smiling as she looked at him.

It wasn’t loud or exaggerated. Just a simple smile.

A clear sign she was congratulating him in her own way.

Garion returned the smile without saying anything.

That was enough. He didn’t want her to feel down on a day like this.

His gaze moved again.

On the other side were the guests he had personally invited.

The people from the Solmira Clan stood together in a neat group. Sianor was there, along with Sorien and several others from their clan.

He could recognize them easily, as all of them wore the same style of clothing.

Then he glanced to the side again and paused for a second.

Floren had also come. But what caught Garion’s attention wasn’t just his presence.

It was who came with him.

There were no men beside him. Only women and not one but several of them.

Garion’s eyes lingered for a moment before he looked away. "...Damn."

He didn’t say it out loud. But the thought crossed his mind clearly.

Just how many were there? And more importantly... could that guy even handle it?

Garion chose not to think too deeply about it. He shifted his gaze again.

On another side stood Clark with his disciples behind him, along with several elders from his sect.

They stood calmly, their posture steady, their presence quiet but firm.

And finally, the Drakenfel Clan. They were easy to spot.

Every one of them had a large build, their bodies solid and trained.

Their clothes were made from dragon materials, giving off a subtle but clear sense of durability.

Compared to how they looked during the war, they were in much better condition now.

Garion watched them for a moment, then something clicked in his mind. "...So that’s how it is."

It seemed those weren’t their main forces back then.

During the war, the enemy had been the Draconia Clan, a dragon-based faction.

It made sense that the Drakenfel Clan didn’t send their true core members at the time.

Garion gave a small nod to himself. "Yeah... that explains it."

He stepped forward, then looked at everyone gathered before him. "Thank you all for coming to my wedding."

The crowd responded immediately.

They smiled, some straightened their posture, and many gave a slight bow. "Congratulations on your wedding, Leader Garion."

Garion smiled as he heard it. "I appreciate that all of you took the time to come here."

He paused for a brief moment, scanning the crowd once more.

Then he spoke again. "So... let’s not wait any longer."

His tone was calm but decisive. "Let’s begin the ceremony."

The staff nodded at once and moved into position.

A soft melody quickly spread across the hall.

The moment the music started, several guests glanced at each other, confused.

It wasn’t something they recognized.

The rhythm, the structure, even the tone. It felt different from anything in this world.

Only a few reacted differently. Sianor, Floren, and Clark.

They immediately recognized it. It was a wedding song from their original world.

Sianor let out a small chuckle. "Haven’t heard this in a long time."

Floren folded his arms, a faint smile forming. "...Brings back memories."

Clark gave a small nod. "Yeah. It’s been a while."

Garion glanced at them briefly, catching their reactions. "...So they noticed."

The music continued.

Even those who didn’t recognize it slowly settled into it. The unfamiliarity didn’t matter anymore.

The atmosphere shifted naturally, becoming quieter and more focused.

Then, the door opened.

Rachel appeared.

She stepped in calmly, wearing a wedding dress that fit her perfectly.

Everything about it matched her. The moment Garion saw her, he paused.

For a brief second, he just looked at her.

"...Damn."

The word slipped out quietly.

Rachel caught his expression as she walked forward, her steps steady.

She raised a brow slightly. "What? Am I that pretty?"

Garion let out a short breath, then smirked. "Of course you are."

Rachel smiled. "...Good answer."

She continued walking until she stood in front of him.

Garion adjusted his stance slightly, his gaze still on her. "...You look different."

Rachel tilted her head a little. "Different?"

Garion nodded. "...Yeah."

A short pause. "...Better."

Rachel let out a quiet laugh and shook her head once. "Careful. You’re not usually this smooth."

Garion shrugged. "Just stating facts."

From the side, a voice cut in. "Then we should proceed."

Both of them turned.

Sianor was already standing between them.

Garion blinked. "...When did you get there?"

From the side, Sorien laughed lightly. "You were distracted."

Garion exhaled through his nose. "...Clearly."

He looked back at Sianor. "...You’re the one handling this?"

Sianor nodded once, hands behind his back. "Of course."

His tone remained calm and steady. "I oversee Grand Factions."

His gaze shifted between Garion and Rachel. "This falls within my responsibility."

Garion raised a brow. "...A wedding too?"

Sianor didn’t hesitate. "Yes. Especially yours."

There was a brief silence.

Garion looked at him for a moment longer, then gave a small nod. "...Alright."

He straightened his posture. "Let’s do it."

Rachel stepped into position beside him, her expression settling into calm focus.

Sianor turned slightly toward the crowd, and they quickly understood.

All of them began to silence, letting the only sound to appear be Sianor’s.

Sianor smiled and turned back at Garion and Rachel. "Let’s begin."
