Chapter 498: Say “I Do” Then Buffet

Sianor stood between them and looked at Garion first. "Garion..."

Garion didn’t lift his head.

He kept looking at Rachel.

Rachel did the same.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Sianor gave a small smile and continued. "Will you take Rachel Revalis as your partner?"

The space went quiet.

Garion didn’t answer immediately.

Instead, he reached out and took Rachel’s hand, lifting it slightly between them.

Then... he leaned in and kissed her hand.

After that, he raised his head and met her eyes. "Yeah, I do."

Sianor’s smile deepened slightly. He turned to Rachel. "Rachel... will you take Garion Gravithor as your partner?"

Rachel didn’t hesitate. She tightened her grip on Garion’s hand just a little, her expression calm but clear. "I do."

From the side, Dahlia crossed her arms, watching closely. "Hmph..."

But she was smiling. No trace of her earlier mood remained.

Around them, the guests reacted. They stood up almost at the same time, hands coming together as applause filled the space.

Sianor let the moment settle before speaking again. "Then we proceed with the ring exchange."

Garion nodded slightly and reached into his pocket. He took out two spatial rings.

Without hesitation, he held Rachel’s hand and slid one ring onto her finger.

The movement was smooth and certain.

Rachel looked down at the ring for a second. Then she lifted her gaze back to him.

She took the other ring, the one Garion had prepared, and guided his hand closer.

Carefully, she slid it onto his finger. Her grip lingered for a moment before she let go.

Sianor watched them both, then lowered his hand. "Then it is done."

For a split second, there was silence. Then...

"CONGRATULATIONS!"

The entire crowd reacted at once. Clapping echoed across the platform.

Some cheered, some laughed; others stepped forward with smiles and raised hands.

Valtor threw his arm up. "HAHA! Finally done!"

Clara clapped quickly, grinning. "That took long enough."

Floren smiled as he folded his arms. "I expected something more dramatic, but this works."

Clark gave a single nod. "Efficient conclusion."

Garion stood there for a moment, looking at the crowd.

Then he smirked slightly. "...Alright."

He raised his voice just enough. "Now that the ceremony’s finished..."

He glanced toward the direction of the dining area. "Let’s eat." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

There was a short pause. Then...

"HAHA! That’s what I’m waiting for!"

Valtor immediately turned and started walking.

Clara laughed, already following. "Move, move, don’t block the food!"

Several disciples didn’t even wait. They rushed ahead, not caring about the one behind them.

Sorien shook his head, amused. "Your people move fast."

Garion shrugged. "Of course they do. It’s been a while since they’ve eaten something this good... and this unhealthy."

Floren raised a brow. "Oh yeah... I forgot about that. God Gym."

Clark nodded once. "Yeah. You always push strict diets."

He glanced toward the crowd moving ahead. "But not today, right?"

Garion smirked. "Not today."

He turned to Rachel. "Let’s go. Let’s have our fill."

Rachel nodded. "Yeah."

They walked side by side as the crowd filled the large dining area.

Inside, long tables had already been prepared.

Large portions of food were laid out neatly. Most of it was meat, cooked in different styles, rich and heavy.

Some dishes were grilled, some roasted, others covered in thick sauces.

The smell alone made several disciples stop mid-step.

Then... they rushed in all at once.

Rachel watched them, smiling. "Wow... they’re going all out."

Garion glanced at his disciples as they moved without restraint and smirked.

Some stacked their plates high. Others argued over portions. A few had already started eating before even sitting down.

Valtor grabbed a large piece of meat and laughed loudly. "HAHA! THIS is what I’m talking about!"

Clara dropped into a seat and immediately started eating. "No rules today!"

One disciple hesitated, holding a plate. "Isn’t this... too much?"

Another replied instantly, mouth full. "Shut up and eat."

Garion chuckled and looked at Rachel. "Of course they are. Today’s a special day, so I made the food better... even if it’s a bit unhealthy."

Rachel smiled. "Yeah. Then let’s eat."

She glanced at the spread. "It’s been a while since I had something this oily... and this flavorful."

Garion smirked. "Of course."

He stepped forward. "Let me get a plate for you. What do you want?"

Rachel pointed across the table. "...All of those."

Garion followed her finger, then let out a short chuckle. "So... everything, huh?"

Rachel nodded without hesitation. "Yes."

Garion smirked. "Alright then. Wait for a moment."

He turned toward the table and reached for a larger plate instead of the standard one.

Nearby, Rynar noticed and immediately reacted. "Master, isn’t that too big for Mother?"

Garion glanced at him. "Of course not."

He looked back at the spread of food. "Even this might not be enough for her."

He pointed toward the table again. "You two... you’re Rachel’s stepsons, right? Help me bring more food for her."

The twins exchanged a quick look, then sighed. "...Alright."

They grabbed large plates and started filling them.

Garion stepped forward as well, picking up different dishes without hesitation.

Roasted meat. Grilled meat. Spicy stir-fry. Anything that looked rich and satisfying went onto the plate.

From the side, Clara leaned in, her eyes widening as she looked at the growing pile.

"What the hell... how big is Elder Rachel’s stomach? That’s a lot."

Dahlia snorted. "Of course it is."

She crossed her arms. "That woman needs a big appetite to keep up with Master."

She tilted her head slightly. "Master himself eats a lot, you know."

Clara rolled her eyes. "Yeah... you’re not wrong."

Meanwhile, Garion kept adding more food until the plate was completely filled.

He looked at it for a second, then nodded. "...That should do."

He turned and walked back.

Rachel watched as he approached, her gaze shifting between the full plate in his hands and the additional plates the twins were carrying. "...Isn’t this too much for me?"

Garion smirked and set the plate down in front of her. "Didn’t you say you wanted everything?"

He leaned slightly closer. "And I’m here too."

A small pause.

Then he added, "We can share."

Rachel smiled. "...Alright then."

She shifted slightly, making space beside her. "Come here."
