Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 491: The Real Fight Hasn’t Started
Dahlia looked straight at Arden. "Are you sure about that?"
Her eyes locked onto him. "Are you really sure you want to hear me ramble?"
Arden stiffened slightly.
He swallowed, then nodded. "...Yeah, senior sister. Just let it out."
Dahlia held his gaze for another second.
Then she took a deep breath, held it, and slowly let it out.
Her hand tightened around the bar. When she spoke, her voice snapped. "Who the hell does she think she is?"
Her irritation came out instantly. "She’s just someone Master happens to like, and suddenly she’s an elder?"
She let out a sharp, bitter laugh. "And now she talks to me like that? The hell gives her the right?"
Her grip tightened. She lifted the bar with ease, muscles tensing.
CLANG!
"How dare she say whatever happens between her and Master has nothing to do with me?"
She slammed the weight back down and pointed at herself. "I was here from the beginning."
Her eyes burned as she looked at Arden. "From the very start of Master’s journey."
She stepped forward slightly. "I’m his first disciple."
Her chest rose as she kept going. "I’m also the one who helped make God Gym known in the first place."
She didn’t slow down. "I worked my ass off for this place."
Her voice sharpened again. "So who the hell is she to tell me to get out like I don’t belong?"
She stared at Arden. "That’s right, isn’t it?"
Arden nodded. "...Yeah. You’re the first disciple."
Dahlia huffed. "Exactly."
She looked away, jaw tight. "And who said I don’t understand anything about men?"
Her tone dropped a little, but it stayed tense. "It’s just that most of the men I’ve met are weak."
She crossed her arms. "If I’m going to bother with someone, they’d better be better than me."
Her lips pressed together. "I’m not some cheap bitch like her."
Arden stayed quiet, watching her vent everything out.
For a moment, he didn’t say anything.
Then he leaned back slightly, thinking to himself. "...Yeah... this might’ve been a mistake."
A second later, Dahlia’s expression shifted. A small smile started to form.
Arden blinked and raised a brow. "...Why are you smiling, senior sister?"
Dahlia didn’t answer right away.
She straightened up, then turned toward him with a smirk. "It’s nothing."
Arden narrowed his eyes. "That doesn’t look like nothing. Tell me."
Dahlia let out a short chuckle. "I just thought of a way to counter that bitch."
Arden froze. "...What do you mean by that?"
Dahlia stepped closer and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Relax."
Her grin didn’t fade. "I’m not going to fight her."
She tilted her head slightly. "This counter is purely with words...heh."
Arden still didn’t look convinced. "...That doesn’t sound reassuring."
Dahlia laughed softly. "You worry too much."
She gave his shoulder a light pat. "Still... thanks."
Arden blinked. "...For what?"
Dahlia pointed at herself. "For listening to me."
She turned toward the exit. "...Even if half of what I said was just me ranting."
Arden shook his head slightly. "It made sense."
Dahlia paused at the doorway. For a brief second, she didn’t move.
Then, a wide, dangerous grin spread across her face. "...Hehehe."
And just like that, she walked out.
Arden stayed where he was, watching her leave. "...What the hell are you planning now..."
He exhaled slowly. "...This is definitely going to get worse."
---
Garion and Rachel finally stepped down from the flying ship.
Rachel looked completely refreshed.
Garion... did not. He held his lower back with one hand, frowning. "...Damn it."
He stretched slightly, pressing his side. "...A whole week straight..."
He let out a slow breath. "...This is a different kind of training."
Rachel glanced at him, clearly amused. "Hehe. Don’t complain too much, Garion."
She walked ahead like nothing happened. "It wasn’t just a one-time thing."
She looked back at him over her shoulder. "We’re doing it again later."
Garion frowned, then let out a short laugh. "...Damn."
He rolled his shoulders. "Looks like I really need to train harder."
Rachel nodded without hesitation. "Of course."
She spoke calmly. "Handling the construction of God Island for a whole year made you a bit soft."
Garion didn’t argue. "...Yeah. That’s probably true."
He exhaled. "It’s been a while since I’ve had a proper workout."
Rachel nodded again. "Exactly."
She paused for a second, then added casually. "Next time, let’s go longer."
Garion already didn’t like where this was going. "How long?"
Rachel smiled. "Two weeks straight."
Garion stopped walking. "...You’re joking, right?"
Rachel didn’t answer. She just kept smiling.
Garion frowned deeper. "...Please have some mercy, Rachel."
Rachel let out a soft laugh. "Hehe. Of course not."
She looked at him directly. "With this..."
Her tone turned slightly teasing. "You won’t even have the energy to think about other women."
Garion blinked. "...I wasn’t even thinking about that."
Rachel raised a brow. "Good."
She turned forward again. "Keep it that way."
Garion sighed and shook his head. "...Yeah... I’m definitely getting bullied here."
---
Ahead on the deck, two people were already waiting.
Aveline and Raviel.
As Garion and Rachel approached, Aveline’s gaze moved calmly between them.
First, Rachel... Her refreshed look, steady posture, and relaxed expression.
Then Garion... The way he adjusted his stance, one hand briefly pressing his side.
A faint smile formed on Aveline’s lips.
Raviel, on the other hand, wasn’t smiling at all. His face was tight, brows drawn down, clearly unhappy.
Before he could say anything, Aveline stepped forward. "Congratulations, Sister Rachel."
Her tone was calm and composed. "I didn’t expect the two of you to become husband and wife so quickly."
Rachel smiled back without hesitation. "Thank you, Aveline."
Then her eyes shifted to Raviel. She paused for a second. "...Why the hell are you frowning?"
Raviel didn’t answer right away. He just stared at her, his expression still dark.
Rachel frowned slightly. "What’s your problem?"
Raviel walked to her and put his hands on her shoulder.
Rachel didn’t know what was happening? Why was her little brother suddenly like this?
