" Finally back huh." Kailen sighed as he stared at his apartment building.

He plopped down onto the sofa, then mused to himself.

" His Excellency Concima managed to convince the other higher ups to let the members of the Sword Tribunal and Atrexia Society go to the Frontlines with me. Micheal, Arrie and Charles are also doing pretty well in their respective regions.

Charles is now a well known member in the Phantom Organisation because of his ridiculous assassination skills. With the merging of the Enlightenment Fragments, I can’t wait to see how powerful he will become. I look forward to it.

As if Kailen remembered something, an ominous feeling encroached on him, and he discontinued what he was about to say.

Kailen thanked his stars he had not finished the statement, else he would have received the beating of a lifetime.

Finally, Kailen left the confines of the academy.

He traversed through various teleportation gates and arrived at one of the upper districts of the capital.

He caught sight of a hologram of himself, with a painting brush in his hand, displayed on a massive billboard.

Kailen chuckled at the sight.

It seemed he was now a bona fide celebrity through and through.

As he was lost in thought, he saw Elder Calma Smith seated in a hover vehicle, hovering above the ground as she waited for him.

The moment Kailen saw her, he floated out of his hover vehicle , then sent it into his storage ring.

" You really don’t know how to keep a low profile, huh?" Elder Calma Smith sighed, shaking her head with a smile.

Kailen knew what she was trying to say.

As if the uproar he had caused at the banquet was not enough, he had organized a livestream of himself destroying the Vimodial Society at the Astral Empire Academy. After that, he went to Atlantis to kill the leader of the Revearson Clan and the heir of the Pandora Clan.

" News travels fast, I suppose."

Elder Calma Smith leaned back in the driving seat, her hair fluttering in the wind as the hover vehicle soared through the morning skies at extreme speed.

Kailen merely smiled. " A demonstration, huh. Only with personal strength can one be truly safe."

" True." Calma nodded. " Vimodial contractors or not, one can never be safe without strength. For someone so young, Black Flask, you are too mature for your age. To face the harsh truth of survival in the universe is something many youngsters remain naive to."

" You flatter me, Elder. I’m simply stating a fact. I don’t see the need to hold false perceptions about the universe, especially when survival is concerned. I learned that the hard way."

As Kailen spoke, Elder Calma noticed the gaze in the young man’s enigmatic eyes.

Right... only someone who had experienced the cruelty of the universe at a very young age could arrive at such an understanding.

She sighed quietly.

For the rest of the journey, a peaceful silence filled the hover vehicle.

" We are here. The Long Hai District, or more precisely, the Long Hai Solar System."

As Kailen observed the magnificence of the metropolis of the planet in the solar system they had arrived at, countless towering structures spiraled upwards, bathed in the blazing radiance of the two suns, while streams of hover traffic artifacted paths that glowed through the air.

The sunlight from the two stellar bodies spread across the metallic skyline. They cast long shadows that gave the entire city a sense of depth and raw vitality.

" Please, follow me."

Elder Calma Smith’s figure flashed out of the hover vehicle as it vanished into her space ring.

Accepting the greetings of several individuals she encountered along the way, she headed toward a teleportation gate located within the district and gestured for Kailen to follow her into it.
