He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 435. The antidote 1
Kailen and Calma moved through the teleportation gate.
They appeared in an extremely large front hall, where various individuals of different races from the Long Hai training hall were moving around, some heading outside the building and some moving through various elevators and staircases towards different floors of the hall.
Some of them were in training uniforms with the insignia of the training hall on it, and others were also in various uniforms of different kinds.
The moment their eyes landed on Calma Smith, they gave her respectful greetings and started whispering amongst themselves about Kailen.
"Is that him?"
"Yeah, that’s Black Flask Darkhaven."
"Hopefully, he can deal with the poison and wake them up, and we can find the root of this whole thing."
"Yeah, this is something else. The future of the two training halls depend on the outcome."
"I have faith in Black Flask Darkhaven."
"They said he just killed the heir of the Pandora clan in Atlantis, after killing Rango Revearson."
"Is this guy even human? He’s so ruthless, killing without batting an eye."
"I enrolled in the Long Hai training hall because of him. To think I get to see him myself. He looks so different in person."
"Right, he looks like an ordinary pale skinned handsome young man, except his eyes feel enigmatic, and he has this mysterious aura around him."
"That’s what makes him more terrifying. The extraordinary ones most of the time look ordinary."
Ignoring the chatter concerning him, Kailen simply nodded to the greetings of the members of the training hall amiably, and proceeded towards a place in the hall where a man in a suit waited for Calma Smith and him.
The moment the man saw them, he approached them respectfully.
With a professional demeanor and respect, he spoke to them.
"Black Flask, Elder Smith, please follow me."
Calma and Kailen nodded to his words.
"Sure."
"Mmm."
They followed him into an elevator.
"They are behind that door. I will lead you to them."
The man in the suit said politely as the duo nodded.
Kailen, however, did not see it as a crime to be too careful, although he knew the Long Hai training hall would not try anything evil against him.
He would always be alert for any unforeseen circumstances.
He had already sent one of the shadow hounds to the place where the unconscious youngsters were, after scanning the building with his shadow sense, perception, and elemental mirroring for their location the moment he stepped into the building with Calma Smith, so he already knew where they were even before the man in the suit had met them.
"Looks like there are no traps as I thought."
Kailen mused inwardly to himself, before he stepped into the room with Calma Smith after the man in the suit opened the door for them.
Two youngsters, a male and a female, could be seen lying on two different beds with edges facing a window, as the light of the twin suns seeped through the transparent glass windows and bathed the room with warmth.
Standing across the youngsters were two middle aged men with extremely worried expressions on their faces.
They had an air of authority about them, and didn’t need to even release their aura for one to know that they were powerhouses.
The moment they saw Kailen and Calma Smith, they quickly nodded towards the man who had brought them to the room, after which the man excused himself respectfully from the room.
"Calma, thank you for bringing Black Flask. You will be rewarded judiciously for your hard work regardless of the outcome of the situation."
"Thank you, Sir."
Calma replied with a satisfied expression on her face.
"Mmm."
The man cut straight to the point, gaze now directed towards Kailen after responding to Calma.
"Black Flask, I’m Elder Rudolf of the Long Hai training hall, and this is Elder Suzaki of the Kazuka training hall."
Elder Suzaki of the Kazuka training hall nodded.
"Black Flask, nice to meet you in person."
Kailen politely nodded, bearing calm and confident.
"Nice to meet you too, seniors. Can I get to work?"
"As they say of you, an excellent demeanor, and cutting straight to the chase and not wasting time, admirable. Please, save them for us."
Elder Suzaki said.
"Thank you, senior."
Kailen said politely, then went to stand before the youngsters, unconscious.
He scanned them with his elemental mirroring.
He could see that their universe energy pathways were extremely polluted with some sort of black gooey energy.
The energy kept absorbing their universe energy and turning it into more of itself.
In addition to that, Kailen took notice of a few physical features when he examined them.
"Their lips are extremely dry, and have assumed a brown color. They have protruding veins and they are extremely emaciated, various vesicles on their bodies, and some sort of leuconychia."
Kailen mused inwardly to himself, under the gazes of the three individuals.
"Thanks to the comprehensive knowledge of Alchemy level 1, I know what this poison is. This poison is called the Devourer poison and I know how to deal with it, plus a rank 1 Black Flask is behind it, based on the lethality.
The reason why the rank 2 alchemist was unable to deal with it is because he’s, first of all, not familiar with poisons, as he’s not a Black Flask, and secondly, even if he were a Black Flask, this kind of poison is extremely rare to create, and therefore, coming up with an antidote for it is extremely difficult even for a Black Flask."
Snapping out of his thoughts, Kailen turned to look at the elders.
"Seniors, please, I need a water dew heavenly grass, zenith root, Arcane solar root..."
Kailen went on to list the kind of ingredients he needed to make the antidote required to get rid of the poison.
Hope lit up in the eyes of the elders as they listened to Kailen.
They ordered someone via a call to get the ingredients and bring them to them as soon as possible.
"Black Flask, are you confident our kids will be fine?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
The two elders couldn’t help but reveal hopeful expressions on their faces.
"Yes. This was done by a rank 1 Black Flask. The poison is called the Devourer poison, an extremely rare and deadly poison that is even hard to make among Black Flask Alchemists."
Kailen nodded calmly and confidently.
"But hopefully, I know how to deal with it. I’m hundred percent confident of this. I just need to make an antidote with the ingredients."
The elders nodded with renewed hope.
Calma Smith stood by the side, thinking about the kind of promotion she would get if Kailen managed to pull this off.
She had been told that she would be rewarded regardless of the outcome, but if Kailen really managed to heal the young geniuses, her position in the training hall would climb to another level.
As they were talking, a female dressed in a suit appeared in the room with a space ring swiftly, nodded, and left.
The ingredients needed for Kailen to make the antidote had been brought.
