Chapter 87: Mating Season 3

"No way, no way, no way," Sandra muttered unbelievably as she walked into the beautiful river garden, turning her face left and right as she walked, not wanting to miss any part of the unrealistic view she saw around her.

Audrey stood beside the gate, making sure it was sealed close before she walked into the garden.

She met her friends in the middle of the garden and they all had shock and admiration written all over their faces as they stared surprisingly at everything in the garden.

"Put her down on the grass," Audrey said to Lawrence who seemed to have forgotten that he had a girl in his arms, rather, he was busy staring all over the place.

"Oh, sure," He slowly lowered Stacy onto the floor and immediately left to look around the garden.

"Wow, Audrey, this place is perfect," Maya said in admiration, looking at Audrey either a renewed love shining through her eyes.

"It’s more than perfect, look how clear and sparkling the water is, can I take a deep?" Sandra asked excitedly.

"Sure," Audrey chuckled at the way her friends were reacting like toddlers who were excited over candies.

"Yay! Coming, Maya?" Sandra asked as she ran towards the river.

"Of course!" Maya replied and ran after Sandra, kicking her shoe off as she did.

"Audrey, this place is just like..." Maria trailed off as she slowly walked up behind Audrey, taking in the whole place.

She felt like she was back in her dreams, but this time, the images were more vivid and real.

"Your dream?" Audrey asked as she lowered herself in a squat beside Stacy.

"Yes, exactly, but... Where’s the statue? In my dream, it was right..." Maria paused and looked around for the statue but only saw the strange trees and unearthly flowers, she looked to her right which she was sure was where the statue was placed in her dreams but she only saw tall gigantic rocks blocking where the statue should have been, "There?" She finished with a question because she was no longer sure about what to say.

"Yeah. Hey, can you hold her up for me?" Audrey replied absent-mindedly.

She wasn’t paying attention to what Maria was saying because she was busy observing the wounds on Stacy’s skin, especially the wound behind her neck, it was the major source of her bleeding and if it wasn’t closed up, she’d die from loss of blood.

"Yeah..." Maria replied and lowered herself beside Stacy and slowly lifted her upper body off the floor.

"There’s a gash behind her neck," Maria said in shock.

"Yes, not just a gash, a silver slate was also embedded into her skin through that wound. Turn her over," Audrey ordered, anger flashing in her eyes.

She had already seen how everything happened when she touched Stacy, Adeline was placing an order for an epic death package, and this time, she was going to make sure she delivered the complete premium package with a shining bonus.

"You okay?" Maria asked as she gently flipped Stacy onto her tummy.

"Everything okay with her?" Alex asked as he returned from his exploration with Lawrence.

"Mm," Audrey nodded.

She placed her hand over the gash of the wound behind Stacy’s neck, causing Stacy to make a slight movement from the sensation she suddenly felt in her body.

Audrey slowly raised her hand a few inches away from Stacy’s neck and a flat silver slate gently slid out of Stacy’s neck, floating between Audrey’s hand and Stacy’s neck. Blood instantly gushed out from the wound as the object was removed from it.

"Ugh!" Stacy groaned weakly, furrowing her forehead in pain.

"What the..." Alex murmured.

"Sick," Lawrence replied with a murmur too.

"Take," Audrey said, still focused on Stacy’s neck.

Maria quickly grabbed the silver slate from the midair and placed it beside her. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Audrey proceeded to lower her hands over the wound, covering the whole lacerated area with her palm.

Everyone watched with admiration as Audrey worked, they’d never really seen her use her powers before, and this was their first witness to how powerful she was.

"Hng!" Stacy suddenly released a sensual moan.

Alex and Lawrence exchanged a weird look as they heard the sound coming from Stacy.

They wanted to comment on that, but the soft white light emitting from Audrey’s hand over Stacy’s neck made them forget what they wanted to say and succumbed to the lulling effect of the light.

"Fuck! What’s wrong with you, Alex?!" Lawrence asked, rubbing the side of his head.

"I could ask you the same thing!" Alex replied agitatedly as he too massaged the side of his head.

"Hehe, morons," Maria giggled mischievously.

"She’ll be up in a minute," Audrey said and finally stood up.

She was surprised to see Alex and Lawrence looking murderously at each other.

"What’s wrong with the both of you?" She asked.

"It’s him, I was just about to ask you what you did to Stacy that caused her to, you know, moan so pleasurably, but then, a white light appeared, and, before I could say a word," Alex paused and glared at Lawrence, "This moron bumped his head hard against mine," Alex pointed accusingly at Lawrence.

"Claiming the victim, that’s low man," Lawrence scoffed.

"Oh, that’s what happened," Audrey chuckled.

"Why are you laughing?" Alex asked with a pout, he thought Audrey wasn’t sympathizing with him.

"I’m sorry, I should have warned you guys, the white light was responsible for her moan and for your head bumps," Audrey said with an apologetic smile.

"How?" Lawrence asked.

"Well, after closing her wound, I decided to help her relax by releasing some hormones into her bloodstream," Audrey shrugged.

"Hormones... You mean -"

"Yes! Dopamine, oxytocin, and Serotonin. Now shut up and go do something else," Maria cut Alex off and pushed him away in another direction.

"Wait! I’m not done," Alex slid away from Maria’s hold and ran back to Audrey.

"Do you mean, we also had an orgasm with her?" Alex asked, feeling a little embarrassed with his question.

Lawrence was mute, but he was very interested in hearing Audrey’s reply.

"Oh gosh," Audrey sighed, shoving her hand through her hair.

"First, she didn’t have an orgasm, well, it was close but still not close enough,"

Audrey raised her hand in front of Alex and Lawrence, taking out her two fingers in front of them, "Second; you two only reacted to the Serotonin production, it’s what induced the momentary sleep in you and caused you to bump your heads against each other," Audrey said and patted Alex’s shoulder and slowly walked past them.

She knew more questions would come if she kept on standing there.

She was here to find answers to her million questions, not to be questioned.

"Enjoyed your swim?" Audrey asked Sandra and Maya as they climbed out from the stream, water dripping down their soaked body.

Maria walked over to them, she wanted to ask if they weren’t feeling cold but she remembered that everyone there was a freaking werewolf, they were all hot-blooded, and a little swim won’t do any harm to them.

"Oh God, damn, Audrey! Look! Our skin is glowing!" Sandra exclaimed excitedly.

She had seen Maya’s skin glow with a very soft light as if there was a gentle fire lit beneath her skin to illuminate her whole body.

She quickly looked at her skin and was very excited when she saw the same effect on her skin.

"Whoa, this is awesome," Maya said in awe as she now stared at her skin like it was foreign to her.

Maria slowly approached Sandra and gently touched her skin, and, indeed, her skin felt like the smoothest satin Egypt could ever make.

"Audrey, what does this mean?" Maria asked.

Alex approached the girls, Lawrence following behind with his hot and heated gaze locked hungrily on Sandra’s skin as it glowed under the morning sun.

He felt his wolf growling hungrily within him, hungry for their sweet mate. And her shirt clinging to her skin due to being wet didn’t help his condition at all. He had to use all the self-control he had to stay sane in that moment. If not, if he acted on impulse, he was sure she would hate him forever.

Audrey sighed and turned so she faced them, "This water is like a mirror to our souls, it treats each person according to your deed and thoughts, and sometimes, it just pampers who it thinks needs pampering, like you two," Audrey explained with a chuckle.

"So, you’re saying, if I should push Adeline into this river, she’ll come out looking all wrinkly like an old witch? With warts sticking all over her body?" Alex asked in a serious tone.

Audrey laughed lightly at her friend’s imagination but answered honestly anyway.

"Yes, most probably wrinkly and old," Audrey chuckled.

Alex nodded with a smile, Sandra chuckled as she shook her head at Alex whilst ignoring Lawrence’s gaze on her.

"I love this place already," Maria sighed dreamily.

"But, why are there giant rocks over there? where’s the statue I saw in my dream?" Maria finally asked what’s been on her mind since she entered the garden.

Audrey instantly turned her head towards where the Statue was supposed to be, and, just like Maria had said, tall rocks had grown and blocked the Statue.

When and why did this happen?

Audrey wondered with a frown as she moved forward to where the statue was supposed to be.

"Argh!!!" Maya’s scream pierced the air as she felt herself levitate off the floor.

"Maya?!" Lawrence shouted his cousin’s name as he saw her rising high up in the air.

Everyone watched helplessly with shock as Maya was speedily transported high above the rock, her screams now sounded muffled behind the rocks, setting panic in everyone.

"What’s happening, Audrey?" Sandra asked shakily.
