Hated By The Alpha-Chapter 63: Trapped
Audrey silently followed Alpha Lake. She didn’t have any other choice since he was still holding her hands tightly.
The place was beautiful, as expected of wolves, the environment was decorated with trees, and the forest wasn’t that away from it either.
Audrey knew they’d reached the gym when she saw some men carrying different types of gym equipment into a four
-story building.
The building was very easy on the eyes. Nothing too flashy. He went easy on this one.
"Here’s the gym, Alpha, please come on in and look around," Adeline said in her father’s arms.
All these while, she’s been secretly sending Audrey a nasty glare for holding the Alpha’s hand so shamelessly in public, it was supposed to be only her who should be allowed to hold him that way, because she was his mate. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
She smiled evilly to herself as she watched Audrey enter the building, she would show her who the real bitch was today.
She took out her phone and texted someone, smiling to herself when she was done.
’Sorry, Catherine, but I have to do this,’ She thought to herself as she slowly made her way into the building.
Audrey was already loving the building as they walked into it. They were still at reception but the cool water color used on the walls made her feel relaxed.
"Wait," Alpha Lake paused and gently tugged Audrey towards himself.
"Hey, give me one of those," Alpha Lake said to a man who was carrying a box of helmets into the building, probably to share with his fellow workers.
"Yes, Alpha, here," The man handed Alpha Lake a black helmet and quickly carried on his path.
"I can fix it myself," Audrey took a step away from Alpha Lake, taking the helmet away from his hand.
’Enough with the P.D.A,’ Audrey thought.
She was still angry about the car incident, she had come to learn that his actions toward her were nothing special, and he would do the same for Adeline without complaints, so she decided to stay away from him, to give him more opportunities to spend time with Adeline.
"Can I walk with you guy?" Audrey turned to Alpha Sebastian and Andrew and asked them cutely.
"Sure," Both of them replied at the same time.
They were more than happy to let her walk with them.
Audrey went over to them and stood in between them, smirking victoriously at Alpha Lake.
In your face, Alpha.
Alpha Lake stared at Audrey for some time and decided to keep moving.
"This place is nice, and comfy," Audrey said as they walked.
"It sure is, hey! Watch out!" Andrew drew Audrey into his arms, moving her out of the way from heavy metal that was falling from above, out of nowhere.
Andrew held her closely to himself, images of what could have happened if he hadn’t saved her played through his mind. He wasn’t going to lose her for the second time, never.
"Are you okay, Sweet cheeks?" Alpha Sebastian asked, delicately inspecting her for any injuries.
Audrey just nodded, she wasn’t even shaken in a bit. She knew it would happen, and she knew the culprit.
The culprit was looking right at her, with her arms wrapped around Alpha Lake’s, sending her a secret smirk.
"Alpha, don’t worry, I’ll talk to whoever is in charge of that area, it won’t happen again," Adeline held Alpha Lake tightly as he wanted to go and check how Audrey was doing.
"I’m sorry about this, Alpha, I’ll go check it out right away," Mr. Sullivan said and briskly walked away.
Alpha Lake would have insisted on going to see how Audrey was doing, but when he turned back and saw Audrey in the arms of Alpha Sebastian and Andrew, his jealousy got the better of him. He turned around and wrapped his arms around Adeline’s waist, walking ahead and not sparing Audrey a glance.
"Can you walk?" Andrew asked Audrey.
"Yeah, thanks. I’m okay," Audrey straightened herself.
She smiled reassuringly at the men staring worriedly at her.
"This is the pool, Alpha," Adeline announced as they got to the center of the building.
It was beautiful. They utilized the space in the middle of the building to create a very dazzling pool. Audrey loved it, regardless of who planned it, anything well done and beautiful is worth praising.
"Well done, Adeline, it’s awesome," Alpha Lake praised the girl by his side but his eyes were on Audrey, watching her closely to see if they’ll be any atom of jealousy visible on her features.
There wasn’t.
"Oh, thank you very much, Alpha. I’m glad you like it, it took all my energy to map out this part," Adeline leaned into Alpha Lake, wrapping her around him like an octopus.
She was over the moon by the compliment and attention she received from Alpha Lake, she was finally getting what she had always wanted.
Audrey rolled her eyes at the unmatched couple.
Good luck to them!
Audrey didn’t give a shit about them. Not that she wasn’t bordered by their display of affection, but she didn’t just care.
"The elevator is still under maintenance but it can take us to the last floor," Adeline said cheerfully.
"Let’s go," Alpha Lake said, holding Adeline’s waist as he gently ushered her inside the elevator.
"Oh, I’m sorry, Catherine, you have to wait and ride alone," Adeline said as Audrey was about to step her foot into the elevator.
Audrey paused, staring hard at Adeline, trying to see what she was up to this time.
"Why not? Is the capacity not more than twelve?" Andrew asked, frowning.
"Ah, it is, but, you know? It’s still under maintenance as I said earlier, she’ll just have to ride alone. Alpha, don’t you think so?" Adeline blinked up at Alpha Lake.
"Then, I’ll go with-"
"Let’s go," Alpha Lake pressed the button, shutting the door and stopping Andrew from going out to meet Audrey.
Alpha Sebastian was staring at Adeline when the doors closed, he felt something off with her, like she was hiding something from them. Something very evil.
Audrey stood in front of the elevator, waiting for it to drop them off at their location, she felt Avery whimper from the treatment she received from Alpha Lake but she ignored her.
It was good she felt hurt so she knew that choosing to mate with him was a very bad choice to make.
Audrey was just about to press the elevator door when a plastic bag was suddenly pulled over her head.
Her first instinct was to fight back, but she gave it a second thought and decided to go with the flow.
This was always the hardest part for her; pretending to be a normal human who couldn’t fend for herself, but she had to do it, till the time came when she wouldn’t have to hide her identity anymore.
"Argh!" Audrey screamed, trying to make a flimsy escape, she waved her hands before her and aimlessly kicked her legs, hoping the man bought the idea of her fake fight response.
"Shut up! You bitch! Get in!" She felt herself being harshly pushed forward into the elevator.
She shakily went into the elevator, fumbling her hands together to make the whole act real.
"You’re going to die today, bitch," The man twisted Audrey’s hands to the back as the elevator started moving up, tying up her hands with a thick rope.
"P-please don’t hurt me, I haven’t done anything, please!" Audrey pleaded.
"Your very existence is a crime! A useless human like you is not fit to be seen together with our Alpha!" The man harshly pushed Audrey against the elevator, landing her head on the metallic wall. Luckily, the helmet took most of the impact.
"Ugh!" Audrey grunted.
The man chuckled at Audrey’s helplessness.
"Hey! Hey! Where are you taking me?!" Audrey struggled as the man dragged her out of the elevator towards an unknown destination.
"Get in! Bitch! And don’t make a fucking sound, I’ll take you to your final destination when everyone leaves," His voice was sinister.
He slammed the door, locked it, and quickly walked away.
"Why is Catherine not here yet?" Alpha Sebastian asked as they were almost rounding up their inspection.
"She’s probably sulking because she wasn’t able to ride with the Alpha," Adeline spoke as if she was sympathizing with Audrey, but deep down, she was jubilating over the success of her evil plans.
She basked in her victory, and after so long, she finally got rid of Audrey.
"Did you do something to her?" Andrew asked.
"What?! No!" Adeline denied, looking innocently from Alpha Sebastian to Andrew.
"You don’t also think so, right, Alpha?" Adeline grabbed Alpha Lake’s arms, blinking her eyes cutely at him.
"I’ll go look for her," Alpha Lake removed his hand from Adeline’s grip.
This was unlike Audrey, he knew her to be too strong-headed to sulk over a simple issue of not being able to ride the elevator with them.
Something seemed off.
"Wait, Alpha, we’ve not seen the last room-"
"Stop it, Adeline!" Alpha Lake flipped off her hands, moving straight to the elevator.
Alpha Sebastian and Andrew followed him, not sparing Adeline a glance as they walked past her.
