Chapter 64: 64. The Inn of 1000 Pleasures

Aaron Winters had accompanied Souzane and her gang of bandits to Herb village for two reasons initially, and those were: one, to appease her and get her off his clinic and two, to see if he could expand his clinic with new prospects.

However, after dragging the matter of whether he should make the trip or not with Alicia a third reason came up and as time passed, this third reason was gradually making its way to the top of Aaron’s priority ladder of why he was in the Herb village.

And that third reason was to find whatever available clue he could about his father, Isaac Winters.

Herb village was the place where the problem of the Winters family started and there was no better place to begin his investigation than with the source of the problem.

During his night of passionate lovemaking with Alicia, Aaron was able to get hold of a vital memory of hers and that was what he had come to check out at this place right in front of him.

He glanced at the name of the place atop the building.

"Inn of one thousand pleasures?" he mouthed to himself. The name of the place was enough for one to take a confident guess at what happened there.

Aaron chuckled inwardly. "Damn, Isaac. You must have really been a very bad boy."

Exhaling deeply, Aaron continued his ascension up the stairs to the entrance of the Inn of 1000 Pleasures.

Although the inn stood before his eyes, the flight of stairs was a long, diagonal climb anyway. Aaron took it one step at a time and after about three to four minutes of climbing, he reached the top of the stairs.

He looked behind him to see how far he come and hmmed.

"Hmm. Anyone who is able to come up this far must really want to know the touch of pleasure, I guess."

He then turned around and halted, his gaze forward and straight as ever, only bending his neck to the side a tiny bit. With the people he was saying in front of him, Aaron was beginning to understand why this place was named the Inn of 1000 Pleasures.

It was an academy of nothing but beauties at every spot in and around the inn. The last time he had witnessed this number of women gathered in one place was in one of his many escapades in his previous life.

Aaron looked around for a bit more, absorbing the views of the women who came in different skin tones, height and sizes. However, he noticed something strange.

They had stopped what they were doing and were admiring him. Some of them could not hold his gaze. A few kept their eyes on him with a smile on their faces. Another group whispered to each other and giggled shyly while stealing glances at him from time to time.

He laughed satisfactorily as he reminisced about his previous life. "The last time I had this many women at a time was when I was king of Agagorth for three days, hahaha! Hathor and his king’s face always made for a good laugh. But I was certainly not expecting this much coming here. I must say that I am impressed."

Aaron nodded and appreciated whoever it was his handiwork to bring so many beauties together.

As he basked in the sight of the lovelies, a voice reached his ears from behind. It was calm, gentle but bore an undertone of shyness.

"H-Hello, sir. Who... is sir looking for?" the feminine voice asked.

Aaron turned back, missing the person who spoke at first, only to glance downwards and see the said person. Well, she was not exactly gifted with the perks of height but she didn’t lose in other faculties.

The Demon King looked down to see her and smiled as he mussed her curly green hair. He had mistaken her for a child and behaved cutely around her like a person would act around a child but this person was not a child in any way. Well, maybe physically she did look like one.

"And you are?" Aaron asked.

The girl smiled with her rosy cheeks puffed and a grin appeared just after.

"Tai Tai is Tai Tai!" she answered enthusiastically with her hands behind her as she shook her body playfully.

The first word that escaped between Aaron’s lips was ’Huh?’.

Everything stopped for a second. The young man felt his brain freeze on the spot hearing the green-haired girl’s style of speaking. It was bizarre in its way to his ears since he had never come across such an accent and speech pattern before.

"Huh?" he blurted out, his lips narrowly parted.

The green-haired girl smiled again, her lips stretched even to wider lengths as she bawled excitedly.

"Sir not hear Tai Tai the first time? Sorry," she apologised as her voice began to raise.

Tai Tai took a very deep and long breath.

"Tai Tai is Tai Tai!"

Every other lady in the outside premises of the inn who had been watching started to laugh and those who had gone back to what they were doing stopped whatever they were doing and looked at the both of them. Aaron turned around, looking in different directions and laughing wryly.

"Alright. Whatever you say, kid?" Aaron said, putting his hands out, trying to hush Tai Tai.

Tai Tai clenched her fists and stamped a foot on the ground, shooting Aaron a beastly glare.

"Tai Tai is no kid!" she enforced loudly. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

Aaron pulled back and stared at her with disbelief. "Huh?"

"Tai Tai is no kid!" she said again. "Tai Tai is 22!"

Aaron was dumbfounded. He blinked several times, taking each time to understand what the green-haired had just said.

He blinked again. "No way this brat is two years older than this body," Aaron thought to himself.

Tai Tai had a smallish stature, with a height of about 5’1", that made her easier to pass for a child than an adult. On top of that, she was also skinny and overly active as is expected of a child.

"Pfft. That’s a white lie, kid."

Tai Tai stamped her feet again, assuming a menacing pose but that didn’t move Aaron in any way.

"Tai Tai is no kid. Tai Tai says the truth!" she reinforced. "Tai Tai is 22 years old. Tai Tai is an adult."

Aaron turned and continued to walk. "Whatever you say, kid."

Tai Tai ground her teeth as the man walked away from her. Refusing to be defeated, she ran around him to block his path in front.

Aaron looked away and sighed. "What is it now?"

"Tai Tai not happy that Sir not believe Tai Tai," she said. She made doe eyes that began to water as she looked at Aaron.

She crossed her heart with one hand. "Tai Tai say the truth. Tai Tai promise."

As they dragged on and on, slow footsteps were being taken towards them by an unknown person. However, the eagerness of the other ladies to bow and showing their respect to this person, while immediately returning to their chore afterwards, showed that this person was of a high status.
