Chapter 125: Chapter 125: He Only Wants to Clear Sienna Monroe from This Matter

Last night, Caleb Sinclair had almost packed everything. Now that he’s completed the discharge procedures, he can leave immediately with the things he’s gathered.

Sienna Monroe doesn’t want to think back on how she endured the long seven days.

It was so difficult.

Led by Caleb Sinclair to the parking lot, the car merges into traffic; it’s already nine o’clock.

From here to their residence at Moonlit Villa Estates takes about half an hour.

The morning rush hour has passed. Calculating the time, the police should be arriving as soon as they get home.

She pressed her lips together, watching the cold and drab winter of Imperial City retreat past her sad, hollow almond eyes.

"Honey."

Caleb Sinclair’s warm, deep voice suddenly broke the silence in the car.

She snapped back to reality, slowly turned her head to look at him, "Hmm?"

The car stopped at a traffic light, and Caleb Sinclair watched the confusion in her eyes, his tightly held jawline slowly relaxing.

He naturally displayed a gentle smile, "I’ll take you home shortly. I need to go out for a bit and I might be back in the afternoon or evening. Is that okay?"

Upon hearing this, Sienna Monroe moved her lips, and there was a slight ripple in her eyes, "Are you going to Radiance Beauty Spa? Can I come with you?

Mom said two days ago that she would come pick me up when I was discharged. I messaged her last night, but she hasn’t responded. Is something wrong? I’m a bit worried..."

Caleb Sinclair hastily held her slightly trembling hand, his heart tender like spring mud; her every word and worried tension stamped deep marks onto him.

"No, don’t worry. It’s really just a minor issue. I’m here for you. Your task now,

is to take care of yourself, eat well, and sleep well every day. In a couple of days, Mom will definitely visit you."

Sienna Monroe looked down at the hand tightly wrapped in his palm, suppressing the urge to pull it away.

After a moment of contemplation, she still felt uneasy, "If you have results, you must tell me, don’t hide it from me."

Caleb Sinclair nodded with a smile, "Of course, I wouldn’t hide anything from you."

When the light turned green, he withdrew his hand, gripped the steering wheel, and the car started again.

Ten minutes later, the car drove into the villa estates where she had lived for three years and finally stopped in the garage.

Through Corbin, Sienna Monroe walked into the living room, her eyes sweeping across the familiar layout and décor, yet she felt dazed.

It seemed these things were becoming distant and unfamiliar.

Soon, she would be leaving, never to return again in this lifetime.

Caleb Sinclair stood behind her, lightly holding her waist, "What’s wrong?"

Through the down jacket, his actions were less noticeable, yet Sienna Monroe still moved forward a step, naturally avoiding them, her gaze unintentionally sweeping past the artistic clock hanging on the living room wall.

Nine twenty-eight.

The police were arriving soon.

"Still... home feels nice."

She discreetly shifted her gaze and managed a faint smile, softly commenting. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

Caleb Sinclair sensed a glimmer in her previously vacant eyes, feeling pleased but also regretful.

The hospital was indeed too oppressive for her.

If he had known sooner, they should have returned a few days ago, easing her mood.

With a mind full of guilt, he guided her to the sofa, "Are you tired now? Want to lie down for a bit?"

Sienna Monroe shook her head, "I’ve been lying in the hospital for so long, I don’t want to anymore."

After comforting Sienna Monroe a few more times, Caleb Sinclair got up. Just as he reached the door, he saw four men approaching in the yard.

Though not wearing police uniforms, he recognized their identity at a glance.

His whole body trembled, feeling a jolt in his heart.

His plan was to proactively go to the police station to understand the situation, fearing the police would disrupt Sienna Monroe.

But he did not expect the police to...

arrive so quickly.

He hurriedly went over, trying to stop the police outside, "Gentlemen, may I ask if there’s something you need?"

"We are from the Southcroft Criminal Investigation Team. Is Sienna Monroe here?" The police showed their identification.

"She is, but... she just got discharged today and needs rest. I’m her husband; you can talk to me."

"We need to speak with Sienna Monroe directly, and Mr. Sinclair, please don’t obstruct our law enforcement."

Saying this, the officers bypassed him and walked toward the house.

Sienna Monroe stared at the clock. The hour hand had just reached nine-thirty as footsteps came from the door.

Her hands resting on her lap unconsciously clenched into fists.

They had arrived.

She took a gentle breath, got up, and approached. Seeing the plainclothes officers, her pale face showed just the right amount of surprise and confusion.

"Who are you..."

The leading officer showed his identification again, "We’re from the South District, Imperial City, Criminal Investigation Team."

He pulled out a summons slip, "Based on the investigation into Radiance Beauty Spa’s alleged organized prostitution case, we formally summon one of Radiance Beauty Spa’s shareholders, Sienna Monroe, to the police station for questioning. Please cooperate and accompany us."

Upon hearing this, Sienna Monroe was taken aback. Her once silent, sorrowful almond eyes slowly widened, filled with fear and surprise.

She trembled with disbelief, "Pro... prostitution? You mean Radiance Beauty Spa? How... how is that possible?"

She looked at Caleb Sinclair who followed, rushing to grab his clothes, speaking incoherently, "Caleb, is there some misunderstanding? I.. Radiance Beauty Spa, how could it..."

Caleb Sinclair wore a pained expression as if his heart was breaking. He held her shoulders.

Lowly comforted, "Sienna, don’t be afraid, don’t panic, I’m here for you. I’m here."

Having said this, he shielded Sienna Monroe behind him, "Sienna Monroe is no longer a shareholder of Radiance Beauty Spa. A few days ago, she transferred all the shares to me. Regarding this matter,

she knows nothing and hasn’t been involved; she’s susceptible to stress. Please don’t make things difficult for her. I can come with you for the investigation."

"Share transfer? So did you know about Radiance Beauty Spa’s prostitution activities?" The officer squinted, asking.

"I only found out a couple of days ago."

Caleb Sinclair decided not to hide anything, his demeanor calm and his tone steady.

He just wanted to keep Sienna Monroe completely clean from this matter, "But I haven’t told Sienna Monroe anything about it; she’s genuinely unaware."

The leading officer firmly replied, "If that’s the case, both of you will need to come with us. Whether she’s aware or involved will be determined by our investigation with evidence."
