Chapter 866: Chapter 866: Solution-1

He leaned over and calmly picked up the lynx, holding him at arm’s length. "Well, since your reunion’s over, I’ll go ahead and escort this furball away so he doesn’t hog all the love."

The lynx instantly started struggling, tail flicking angrily.

Yu Holea frowned and snatched the lynx right back from Qiao Jun’s arms.

"Excuse me, I’m not done talking to my master yet."

Then she looked at the lynx curiously.

"Wait... can you actually talk?"

The lynx gave a smug little nod. "Of course I can."

Yu Holea’s eyes lit up, and she laughed. "Perfect. Now we really can spend more time together."

She turned away from Qiao Jun and cuddled the lynx in her arms like a spoiled cat. "Let’s go have some tea and catch up."

Qiao Jun stared at them, feeling completely left out.

He muttered under his breath, "If I had known this would happen, I would’ve never let her meet this oversized cat again..."

The lynx smirked. Qiao Jun groaned.

Yu Holea and the Lynx walked to a quiet corner of the temple. The place was peaceful, with warm light falling through the old wooden windows.

They sat down side by side. Yu Holea gently stroked the Lynx’s fur while he stretched and yawned like a lazy cat. After a few minutes of silence, they began to talk... really talk.

"Master," Yu Holea said softly, "Do you know my disciples?"

The Lynx stopped stretching and looked up at her. His golden eyes turned serious.

"You had two," he said after a moment. "But you don’t remember them clearly, do you? That’s because... your memory was sealed after your last moments. It’s natural."

Yu Holea frowned. "Can I find them?"

The Lynx’s ears twitched. "Maybe. If you truly wish to, I can help you sense them."

"Yes," Yu Holea said quickly. "I want to meet them."

The Lynx nodded. "Very well. Let’s calculate their locations together."

They sat cross-legged, Yu Holea placing her hands on a flat stone, while the Lynx closed his eyes. A soft light glowed between them. After a few minutes, two lights appeared in the air, one pink, one blue.

The Lynx opened his eyes. "One of your disciples is a girl named Miao Han. She’s from another world. She stumbled upon your inheritance by accident... through her university."

Yu Holea chuckled. "That’s hilarious. A university student? She must be smart."

The Lynx nodded. "Very. She’s got a strong talent for talismans."

"And the other?" Yu Holea asked.

"A man named... Meng Su," the Lynx said.

Yu Holea blinked and laughed. "Meng Su? What a name! These two were truly meant to meet me."

"They’re both powerful," her master said, "and they carry your teachings in their hearts, even if they don’t realize it yet."

"I want to see them," Yu Holea whispered with a soft smile.

Her master gently shook his head. "You will, someday. But not now. Everything has its time."

Yu Holea sighed and nodded. "Fine. I’ll wait."

Then the Lynx said, "You should thank Chi Ai."

At that name, Yu Holea suddenly froze. Her eyes widened.

Chi Ai.

A girl she hadn’t thought about in a long time. A girl with dark black hair, deep eyes, and a kind but piercing stare. Her first true friend.

"Chi-Ai..." she whispered. "I forgot her... because of the space and time rules..."

She looked at the Lynx. "Can I meet her again?"

He shook his head gently. "You can’t. She won’t remember you either. But you can protect her... quietly, from a distance."

Yu Holea looked down, feeling her heart ache, but nodded. "Okay. I’ll watch over her."

Then she stood up and said, "I’m going to contact Goddess City. I want to find a body for you."

The Lynx blinked. "You really think they’ll help?"

She didn’t answer. Instead, she raised her hand and formed a connection.

The screen of light that opened showed a glowing figure in a phoenix mask.

Goddess Phoenix.

She had once been Candidate Phoenix, but now she had truly become a goddess.

The moment she saw Yu Holea, her voice brightened.

"Yu Holea! I’ve been thinking about you. Are you finally coming back to Goddess City?"

Yu Holea smiled calmly. "No. I have no plans to return."

Goddess Phoenix looked a little disappointed, but she perked up quickly. "Alright. What do you need?"

"I need a body for my master," Yu Holea said.

The Lynx stiffened. He was sure she’d say no. She’d never helped him before. She used to treat him coldly.

But to his surprise, Goddess Phoenix nodded right away. "Of course. I’ll prepare a spiritual body for him immediately."

The Lynx was stunned.

He blinked at the screen.

Was this the same cold woman who once refused to even speak to him properly?

Now she was smiling, cheerful, and helpful... like a loyal pet trying to impress its owner.

He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

But then his body began to feel warm.

Bright light wrapped around him, and his paws started to change.

When he opened his eyes again... he was standing tall, at the same height as Yu Holea. In his true form.

Long white hair, youthful features, the same calm but powerful presence.

Yu Holea turned to him and frowned. "I don’t want my master to have white hair."

Goddess Phoenix chuckled. "Alright."

She snapped her fingers, and the master’s hair turned black.

Yu Holea clapped lightly. "Much better."

The Lynx, now a young man, nodded, clearly pleased.

Then Yu Holea looked at the Goddess Phoenix with a gentle smile.

"You did me a favor. I’ll return it someday."

But the Goddess shook her head. "There’s no need."

Still, Yu Holea smiled and ended the call, the glowing light fading.

Yu Holea looked at her master with soft eyes and said, "It’s really great to see you again." She gently bowed to him with respect.

But her master gave a small smile and shook his head. "You don’t need to bow to me. You’re not a little girl anymore."

Just then, he suddenly paused and looked toward one direction. His eyes became sharp and serious.

Yu Holea turned to look, too.

Standing quietly in the doorway... was Qiao Yun, her daughter.

The girl’s face didn’t show much emotion, but her eyes were focused deeply on the master. She didn’t blink, didn’t move. It was like she was frozen in time.

Yu Holea became worried. She walked over and gently touched her daughter’s arm.

"Yun’er," she said softly. "What are you doing here?"

Qiao Yun slowly shook her head. "Nothing, Mother. I just came to see something... magical."

Then she pointed straight at the master. "Is he your master?"

Yu Holea nodded. "Yes."

At once, Qiao Yun lowered her head and bowed politely. "Thank you," she said in a calm, steady voice. "Thank you for helping my mother. For everything you did for her."

Her words surprised the master. He frowned and looked closer at Qiao Yun, his gaze sharp.

Then he suddenly turned to Yu Holea, his face becoming serious.

"I need to speak to you. Alone."

Yu Holea was shocked. She nodded, then turned to Qiao Yun and stroked her hair. "Go get some rest, okay? We’ll talk later."

Qiao Yun nodded and quietly left the room.

Once she was gone, the master looked at Yu Holea again. His voice was low. "You know, don’t you?"

Yu Holea’s eyes dimmed. She nodded. "She has a mental demon inside her."

The master sighed. "I could see it in her soul. If she doesn’t deal with that demon soon... she might not survive."

Yu Holea’s face turned pale. Her heart felt tight. "I already know," she whispered.

Her master looked at her closely. "Have you found anything? A cure?"

Yu Holea shook her head, her voice tired. "I searched through hundreds of ancient books. But... there’s nothing. Nothing that works."

The master looked down and stayed quiet for a moment.

Then he said slowly, "I’ve seen this kind of demon before. Long ago. They tried everything: rituals, charms, blessings. But the girl still didn’t survive."

Yu Holea felt her heart crack. Her breath caught in her throat.

"Then what should I do?" she asked in a shaking voice. "Should I just watch my child die?"

Her eyes filled with tears.

The master quickly reached out and held her hand. "Don’t cry," he said gently. "We’ll find another way. I promise. You’re not alone."

Just then, Qiao Jun appeared at the doorway.

"There is another way," he said slowly.

Both Yu Holea and the master turned to him, surprised.

"But..." Qiao Jun continued, his face calm, "I don’t think you’ll accept it."

Yu Holea looked at him with wide eyes. "Tell me."

Qiao Jun walked closer. "I can give up a piece of my soul. That piece can calm the hatred in our daughter’s heart. It will help her fight the demon inside."

Yu Holea’s eyes widened in horror. "No!" she shouted. "I won’t let you do that!"
