Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 152: Deep in the meadows..
Celestia’s POV:
I was lying in the cool and greenish grass of the meadows. I was relieved that my body was not on fire anymore.
And also, I was not in a bright yellow gown! I was wearing a short blue dress, and some red flower petals were sprinkled all over my body.
"Say something to us, Celestia! Are you alright?" Daviana questioned me.
I didn’t know what to say. My mind was frozen entirely. Just a minute ago, I was dying. Now I am alive again. This is all too much to process!
I slowly got back to my feet and stood barefoot on the cool grass. The early morning sun was deliberately appearing in the sky. I looked around me and scanned the surroundings.
I am in the Lowland meadows now. This is the cottage of Daviana. I have already been here before! Then I sprinted towards the backside of the cottage.
"Celestia, where are you going?" Ember asked me, and she began to follow me.
I ignored her completely as I didn’t feel like speaking at all. I stopped running when I reached the cottage backdoor.
This is where Theo cut Tangerine’s wings and reattached them again. So everything that I saw was real! That was my previous life. Now I am reborn again! 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"Celestia, please say something!" Ember bugged me again.
I turned to her side and gave her an angry glare. "Can you all please leave me alone? And don’t dare to follow me," I yelled at her.
She flinched at my rage and took a step back from me. Then I ran into the denser regions of the meadows.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn’t stop running until I was deep inside the meadows of the Lowlands. I don’t recall being here even in my previous life. But this place looked more like the forest of light.
As the sun got brighter in the sky, I sat down under the shade of a giant ash wood tree as I didn’t want to be in the sunlight. The sunlight wouldn’t hurt me as I am a Half-Vampire. Still, I didn’t like the idea of the sunlight touching my skin.
After I sat on the ground, I recalled everything that had happened to me so far. So I am the Dawn! And I sacrificed my life for the sake of my people.
Is the force of light redeemed now? I think that it did! Or else the Shadow creatures would be ruling this realm. So I saved everyone with my sacrifice! I should be happy now! But I feel like something isn’t right.
"Celestia, are you there?" I heard a voice of a man. Who is this now? I told Ember that I wanted to be alone! Still, she has sent someone else to hunt me down. How dare she?
"There you are," the male voice said. I glanced at my side and grunted when I saw Edwin walking towards me.
He crouched on the ground beside me and stared at me skeptically with his deep blue eyes. "What happened to you, my friend? Why did you yell at Ember and come here?"
I looked away from him and didn’t reply to his questions. This is all overwhelming to me!
"Come on, Celestia! We all are worried about you. If something is going on with you, then tell us. We are here to help you out!"
"Tell me what happened to the Silver Shadow after I died?" I asked him directly.
He shuddered as I mentioned his name. "Oh my God! Are you seriously worried about him?"
"No," I snapped out. "Before I was about to step in the fire, he said something to me in my mind. I am only worried about that!"
He lifted his eyebrows and questioned me eagerly, "What did he say?"
"I don’t recall his exact words! But I do remember him saying that I don’t know the entire truth about everyone, so I shouldn’t sacrifice myself."
His face got serious as he listened to me. I noticed that Edwin hadn’t changed a bit. He was wearing a pale white warrior suit just like he did a thousand years ago.
The only thing that was a little different in his appearance was his hair. It was pale blond before. Now they were in darker shades of blonde.
"Celestia," he breathed out. "I still don’t know why you are taking his words seriously! You know that he is a trickster and that he was madly in love with you. How would he let you sacrifice yourself for everyone’s welfare? All he wanted was to create more chaos and defeat King Oberon."
"So he was lying to me?" I asked him again.
He nodded and said, "Exactly! He was lying to you. It is good that you completed your sacrifice without listening to his tempting words. You saved us all, Celestia!"
I breathed out in relief after Edwin clarified to me that I saved everyone. I did the right thing! The side of light survived because of me.
"But what happened to the Silver Shadow after I died? Did he reunite with his lady love Lilin? Is living a happy life with her in the Shadow Realm?"
Edwin laughed out a little at the questions I asked him. "No, Celestia! He didn’t reunite with Lilin. Silver Shadow got so weak after you died that he surrendered to King Oberon without even putting up a fight."
"Are you serious?" I gasped out. "This doesn’t even sound like him. Silver Shadow never surrenders! He always finds a way to win the battle, even if the odds are against him."
"Yes! He was like that when you were alive. But he became a coward after he came to know that you died. Then King Oberon imprisoned him and threw him down the abyss of torment. He was in the deep abyss for more than a thousand years! But recently, he came out of the abyss alive and more powerful than he was before."
"What?!! He managed to get out the abyss of torment alive?"
