Floating Islands: SSS Gacha Lord-Chapter 403 - Emberheart Essence Vial
[You have received Rank-A Item: Emberheart Essence Vial]
[A condensed flame essence refined from pure elemental fire. Upon use, this vial permanently unlocks Fire element affinity up to High affinity quality for the user.]
A potion that could unlock Fire elemental affinity?
The value of such an item was beyond extraordinary.
Atlas explained the item to everyone, and the reaction was immediate and intense.
Once someone possessed an elemental affinity, they could train and deepen their mastery of it over time. But very few people could unlock multiple affinities in the first place.
Someone like Atlas was an exception. Most of his elemental affinities came from his bonds with Morganna, Lyrassa, and Elyndra.
For others, however, being able to gain an elemental affinity simply by drinking this potion would be nothing short of miraculous.
"I will entrust this to Edrik," Atlas said calmly. "Let the council discuss who would be the best person to use it. Everyone here understands that mastering more than one element is not an easy task."
Atlas knew that firsthand.
Having many elemental affinities did not automatically make someone stronger. In fact, it could slow true mastery. Even Atlas himself had yet to fully deepen every elemental affinity he possessed.
Atlas immediately opened the next ticket.
This time, what appeared was a weapon.
[You have received 1 Rank-A Weapon: Whispering Kusarigama (Unique Grade)]
A duplicate.
Specifically, a duplicate weapon meant for Kurogasa.
At Atlas’s signal, the ninja rat appeared on the stage without a sound. Atlas handed the weapon over and instructed Kurogasa to use it to upgrade his existing one.
A Unique grade weapon carried tremendous value. And in this case, there was no reason to keep it in storage. No one else could properly wield a weapon like this except Kurogasa himself.
For him, this was not just an upgrade.
It was a clear step toward becoming even deadlier in the shadows.
Atlas did not waste any time and immediately threw out the next batch. Ten Standard Tickets.
The tickets spun in the air, rotating rapidly until their colors began to shift. Only one of them turned purple.
Just one Rank A pull this time.
Atlas was not surprised. He never expected a great pull every ten attempts.
He stepped back slightly and opened the glowing purple ticket. The light expanded, then faded, revealing several small vials floating in the air. Each vial contained a swirling silver liquid that moved wildly inside the glass.
[You have received 20 Rank-A Items: Aegisflux Elixir]
[Upon consumption, grants the user increased resistance to all elemental attacks for the next 10 minutes.
This effect does not negate damage entirely, but significantly reduces elemental damage received.]
"Elemental resistance," Atlas muttered.
It was not absolute immunity, but defensive items like this were always valuable. Especially in large scale battles or prolonged confrontations between lords.
And twenty vials at once? That was an excellent haul.
Atlas nodded to himself, already thinking about distribution and usage scenarios. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Then, without hesitation, he tossed another batch into the air.
Another ten tickets spun upward, lights flickering as they rotated.
One by one, their colors changed.
Only one purple again.
Another single Rank A pull.
Atlas quickly opened the nine brown tickets, leaving only one behind.
Moments like this were always filled with anticipation. Even though they were both Rank A pulls, the results could be vastly different.
Just compare it. Twenty potion vials that could be consumed in a short time versus a Rank A character. The value gap could be enormous.
Still, Atlas knew the system’s grading could be... questionable at times. Not that he was complaining.
He reached out and opened the next Rank A pull.
The moment he touched the ticket, a massive surge of fire erupted in front of him.
The flames gathered and compressed, swirling together at the center of the stage. Then something long emerged from within the blaze.
A sword.
A massive one.
[You have received a Rank-A Weapon: Dragonfang Cleaver (Epic Grade)]
Atlas stared at the weapon, his eyes narrowing slightly. This was Karian’s greatsword.
The moment Karian recognized it, he ran onto the stage with clear excitement on his face. Atlas simply handed the weapon over to him.
While there were a few others who could technically wield a greatsword like this, Atlas knew one thing for certain.
Karian would never allow anyone else to use this weapon. Most likely, he would use it to upgrade his existing greatsword. And that was exactly how Atlas wanted it.
The night was still long, but Atlas committed to himself that this would be the last batch. He would only open ten more Standard Tickets tonight. At the very least, he had already gained something significant. A Unique grade skill that he could use personally.
That alone made tonight worthwhile.
He moved forward and tossed the final ten Standard Tickets into the air.
BROWN. BROWN. BROWN.
Atlas watched closely, his eyes sharp, hoping something big would appear. Everyone around him held their breath.
BROWN. BROWN. BROWN.
Seriously? Only one Rank A pull again?
BROWN. BROWN. PURPLE!
"FIREEEE!" Everyone shouted in excitement.
Then...
The last ticket began to tremble longer than the others.
Atlas’s eyes narrowed.
No way!
Its color shifted, glowing brighter and brighter, until it turned into a blazing red.
A deafening roar of cheers exploded across Gacha Haven.
Forty pulls was not a small number, but it was still only halfway to a guaranteed Rank S pull. Even so, Atlas knew this.
Whatever was coming next would be something extraordinary.
He quickly opened the remaining normal pulls, leaving only two floating tickets in the air.
Without hesitation, Atlas stepped forward and opened the first one.
The purple ticket.
[You have received 20 Rank-A Items: Stamina Recovery Elixir]
So far, these elixirs were the ones that had helped Atlas the most. They had carried him through leveling sessions and battles. Even his most recent victory had been made possible because of these elixirs.
Previously, he had only received ten from a single pull. But, this pull yielded twice that amount.
Atlas exhaled slowly. He would be far more careful with these elixirs from now on.
Then his gaze shifted.
The Rank S pull.
Atlas felt a flicker of excitement. He was genuinely curious about what would appear this time.
