Chapter 401: Chapter 401 - Caelwyn Blackthorn

"Caelwyn," Atlas said softly. "Caelwyn Blackthorn." He made his decision at last, choosing from all the names that had crossed his mind.

"Cael," he added with a small smile. "We can call him Cael. What do you think?"

"Yes, my lord," Lyrassa replied warmly. "It is a beautiful name. Cael."

At the same time, the baby reacted. A soft, gentle laugh escaped his lips, his green eyes still calm and peaceful.

Then something changed.

A faint green aura began to rise from Caelwyn’s small body. It was subtle, yet clearly visible, spreading outward and softly enveloping Atlas and Lyrassa in a gentle, tranquil glow.

More system messages appeared before Atlas. He glanced through them briefly and realized just how great the blessing was that came with Cael’s birth. Even his Light element affinity had increased, rising from Low to Medium. That alone was remarkable, especially since Light was one of the hardest elements to improve.

Atlas gently rocked the baby again. Cael laughed softly, his expression calm and content.

"You like that name, Cael?" Atlas said quietly.

"You also have an older sister here," he continued with a faint smile. "You must be eager to meet her, right?"

At that moment, Atlas finally noticed his surroundings.

More and more figures were approaching from every direction. Some emerged from between the trees, others walked in from the main road. Before he realized it, many familiar faces were already nearby.

Edrik stood among them, along with the others. Mira waved enthusiastically at him, her smile bright and full of excitement.

Atlas turned toward them and spoke clearly.

"Caelwyn Blackthorn," he announced, "welcome the newest member of Gacha Haven." 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

For a brief second, there was silence.

Then, voices rose together.

"Welcome to Gacha Haven!"

"Welcome, Caelwyn!"

"May you grow strong and safe!"

"Welcome, little lord!"

Laughter and warm smiles followed, filling the grove with life and celebration.

From the direction where the elite subordinates were standing, they slowly stepped aside. The other forces followed, shifting and opening a clear path. Then, from within that space, someone came running.

A young girl, about five years old, with red hair braided behind her back and dressed in leather with light armor, ran forward with a bright, joyful expression. Behind her, Morganna walked calmly, following at an unhurried pace.

"Papa! Papa!" Vienne shouted with pure excitement.

Atlas lowered himself into a crouch and gently turned the baby toward his older sister, whose eyes were shining with anticipation.

Vienne leaned closer, her eyes wide and sparkling with happiness.

"Papa, what is his name?" she asked eagerly.

"Cael. Caelwyn," Atlas said. "Cael, this is your sister, Morravienne."

"Cael..." Vienne repeated, smiling brightly. "I like it. Cael... that is such a cute name."

She laughed, then leaned in and rubbed her cheek gently against the baby’s cheek.

"Cael, grow up quickly, okay? Later we will run along the cliffs, jump from there, it will be super fun. And we will fly high, and fight monsters too, that is really fun. I can fight with a sword. You should pick a weapon later too. But not a sword, let me have that. I am stronger," she said proudly, then tilted her head in thought. "But Cael, what kind of weapon do you think you will like?"

Vienne spoke with such overflowing enthusiasm that Atlas could not help but laugh.

He wrapped his left arm around the girl while still holding Cael securely in his right.

In that moment, Atlas felt the depth of the love in his heart as both children rested in his arms. The calm and strength that filled him were unlike anything he had felt before.

This was love. Pure, unconditional love. The kind that made Atlas willing to give everything, to sacrifice everything, for them both.

If Vienne had already pushed Atlas to grow stronger and keep moving forward, then Cael’s presence pushed him even further. The power he felt inside himself grew deeper and more resolute.

Atlas knew he would continue to grow stronger and overcome every challenge that awaited him in the future.

Holding Vienne in his left arm and Cael in his right, Atlas finally turned to face everyone in Gacha Haven, who were cheering and calling out the baby’s name.

Others began to approach as well. Mira came closer, followed by Serenith, who looked perfectly fine. The sight of her erased Atlas’s lingering worry, knowing she had likely fallen from a great height earlier.

Elyndra and the others joined in, gathering around to share the joy of that day.

Yet one person remained apart.

Morganna.

The vampire queen stood there without any expression. She glanced briefly toward Atlas, then turned away and walked off, leaving without a word.

Atlas simply nodded softly. He understood her nature well enough.

After Atlas’s great victory in the battle, it was followed by the birth of Cael.

A triumph upon a blessing.

Still, Atlas knew one thing clearly.

Even though he had won decisively in terms of score, the war was not over.

There was still one final category remaining. A stage where every lord involved in the war would engage in an all out confrontation.

The enemy side still had more than one Rank 3 lord. And one thing was certain.

Bolin, the leader of the opposing alliance, would also step onto the battlefield in the final clash.

And one thing was absolutely clear.

Atlas had to be ready.

Because when the final battle came, he would be the one standing face to face against Bolin.

"Let’s celebrate this moment with some gacha pulls tonight, and a small party as well," he said afterward.
