The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 383 - 382: Abort the Child
"No, I won’t... Walter Vance, you can’t do this to me. You’re all I have! You promised my mom you’d take care of me forever..."
Walter Ford impatiently kicked her away. "Are you really that clueless, or are you just pretending? You think you’re the only one I’ve said ’I’ll take care of you forever’ to? I told you a long time ago, Crystal Bishop, you weren’t the first, and you won’t be the last. Stop making up some fantasy drama in your head. You’re not a princess, and I’m not your Prince Charming. Wake up!"
Crystal Bishop scrambled over on all fours. "I know, I know. Is your family pressuring you? Did Jenna Shaw come and threaten you again? I know you have your reasons, Walter Vance. I don’t have to marry you. As long as you’re willing, just let me stay by your side. I want to take care of you, for the rest of my life."
"That’s enough." Walter Ford glared at her. "Don’t push your luck. Do you really not understand what I’m saying? Piss me off, and you won’t get the house or the money. I’ve changed my mind. Get the hell out, now!"
Crystal Bishop sat up, looking at him with teary eyes. "Why? You were the one who pursued me. You sent me flowers, took me to the movies, paid my mother’s medical bills, and made sure my little brother could go to school..."
"That was to get you into bed. Everything I gave you was payment for services rendered. Do I need to be any clearer?" He clicked his tongue, bored. "When you played hard to get at the beginning, it was a little interesting. Now that you’re just throwing yourself at me, it’s not fun anymore."
His face turned cold. "Now, get the hell out. Or you’ll be sorry."
"Walter Vance..."
Walter Ford picked up the phone and called security.
As she was being forcibly dragged away, Crystal Bishop’s gaze remained glued to Walter Ford. "Walter Vance, Walter Vance... Wait, Walter Vance! I’m pregnant with your child!"
She shouted.
Walter Ford waved for security to leave. He looked down at Crystal Bishop, who had collapsed on the floor, his eyes scrutinizing her. "When did this happen? Impossible. I was careful..." He frowned, his gaze on her stomach filled with disgust. "Go get it aborted, now. I have no intention of keeping some nameless bastard."
"No..." Crystal Bishop thought she was holding her last straw, but to her shock, Walter Ford told her to get an abortion without even batting an eye.
"This is your child, too! How can you be so cruel? You said... you said you were always lonely. This is your own flesh and blood. Let me have the baby to keep you company, okay?"
"What child? It’s just a disgusting clump of flesh!" He turned and made a phone call.

The shopping trip today was quite pleasant. Naomi Kenway had the accompanying bodyguards take the gift boxes they’d bought back home, then continued shopping with Jenna Shaw for a while longer. Naomi had been worried about Jenna’s mood, but after they finished a round of shopping, she could finally relax. It seemed Jenna Shaw was genuinely moving on.
As she thought this, a relieved smile appeared on Naomi’s face.
"Jenna!"
Just as they stepped out, they saw a man running toward them. Naomi Kenway watched the strange man approach and asked Jenna Shaw in a low voice, "Who’s this?"
Jenna Shaw frowned slightly. "A stranger, more or less."
Naomi Kenway raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further.
Clay Yates ran up, scratching his head. "Oh, you’re out shopping here too. What a coincidence, I just happened to be in the area."
Jenna Shaw glanced at the sweat on his forehead. "We’re about to leave. Take your time."
Clay Yates looked at Naomi Kenway. "You’re leaving already? And this young lady is...?"
"This is my sister-in-law. Don’t you ever watch TV? You don’t even recognize my sister-in-law, a famous actress like her? You look so clueless, but you’ve got a sweet mouth. My sister-in-law does look very young."
Naomi Kenway gave him a small smile.
"I, uh, I don’t watch much TV, but now that you mention it, I remember! No wonder she has the air of a celebrity—she really is one!"
Clay Yates hurried over and smilingly took Naomi Kenway’s bag. "Sister-in-law, you must need someone to carry your bags while you shop. Let me come with you."
Jenna Shaw was annoyed. "Why are you so persistent? We have bodyguards." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"I’m really strong! I can carry ten bags by myself, no problem," Clay Yates pleaded. "Sister-in-law, please just let me tag along."
Naomi Kenway didn’t agree right away, smiling as she looked at Jenna Shaw.
Jenna Shaw tilted her head slightly. "You talk big for your size. You can carry ten bags by yourself?"
"If you don’t believe me, let’s put it to the test."
Seeing Jenna Shaw waver, Naomi Kenway smiled and said, "Then we’ll have to trouble you."
She could tell at a glance that the dynamic between Jenna Shaw and this man was quite subtle. Jenna didn’t seem to completely dislike him, and it was obvious he liked her.
’The fastest way to get over a failed relationship is to start a new one. Walter Ford really isn’t worth Jenna’s grief. And this young man seems quite sincere. He might be a good choice.’
Naomi Kenway sized up Clay Yates and nodded to herself.
Jenna Shaw said, seemingly reluctant, "Since my sister-in-law said you can come, then you can tag along."
A smile instantly spread across Clay Yates’s face. "Thank you, Jenna! Thank you, Sister-in-law!"
They went to another mall where Jenna Shaw tried on many outfits, with Naomi Kenway helping her pick some out.
"This one has a midriff-baring design. With a waist as lovely as yours, it’s sure to look amazing on you."
Jenna Shaw nodded and went into the fitting room.
Two minutes later, Jenna Shaw came out, looking a bit self-conscious. Walter Ford’s mocking words were still fresh in her mind.
Clay Yates’s gaze was drawn to her, and he kept stealing glances.
Naomi Kenway took Jenna Shaw’s hand and had her do a little spin. "The design on the back is nice, too," she said with a smile. "This dress really does suit you."
A smile appeared on Jenna Shaw’s face. Then, as if she thought of something, she turned and asked awkwardly, "Why are you staring at me? Is it ugly?"
"Not ugly at all, it’s beautiful." The tips of Clay Yates’s ears turned red. "You’re so pretty, you look good in anything."
"You don’t think my skin is too dark? Does this light-colored dress not match?"
"Not dark at all." Clay Yates held out his own tan arm. "This is a healthy, beautiful skin tone."
Jenna Shaw’s expression softened. She said to Naomi Kenway, "Then I’ll take this one, Sister-in-law. I think it looks great, too."
Naomi Kenway smiled. "Alright." She turned and told the salesclerk to bag the dress.
After they finished shopping, Jenna Shaw went home with Naomi Kenway. She said the atmosphere at the old family home was too oppressive; although her parents had agreed to her breaking off the engagement, they were clearly unhappy about it. Clay Yates, carrying all the bags, followed them home.
Clay Yates set down the things in his hands. He knew that pursuing someone required a gradual approach—you can’t rush a good thing. He said, "Jenna, Sister-in-law, I’ve put the stuff here. I’ll be going now."
Naomi Kenway stopped him. "You worked so hard carrying all those bags. Stay for dinner before you go."
