Lucien and Lumina reached the three of them. The golden prince looked at Axel with a dangerous gleam in his eyes. Axel sighed, seeing that, he said to the guy in an almost tired voice,

"Let’s go to the engraving room, let’s talk there."

Lucien said with obvious annoyance, "What is this even about?"

Lumina punched her brother in the gut for his tone of voice; she didn’t like how he was talking to Axel like that. Lucien groaned and looked at his sister as if suffering from the greatest betrayal in history, to which she simply snorted.

Axel looked at him with a pitiful gaze for a moment and said,

"Repaying the favor I owe you."

Lucien didn’t understand what he was talking about. He straightened himself and walked forward, glaring at Axel with hate, for changing his lovely and pure sister into something unrecognizable that would humiliate him like that in front of everyone. It really looked like the 4th prince would literally just kill him at that very moment,

Lucien was about to add another mocking comment, but then he heard some girls whisper while passing right beside them. Well, normally they would not be able to hear the words she and her friends were saying, but they weren’t just any normal Seekers; none of them were.

"Wow, just look there, the perverted handsome prince is now about to beat up and kill Axel secretly, this would end the love story of Axel and Lumina, it’s just so sad," one of the girls uttered, mistaking the reality of the situation with the gossip of what she and her friends had heard.

Lucien’s face, which was already fuming in rage, became even angrier, but then it turned to bafflement, to helplessness, then resignation, and finally, there were almost traces of despair in his face. He gave out a very, very artificial and forceful smile, then grabbed Axel’s shoulder in a friendly manner and said through gritted teeth,

"You bastard, do you even know what my reputation has now become? I’ve become a fucking evil perverted bastard, that doesn’t let my sister enjoy her love life."

Axel gazed at him with even more pity, which again angered the prince, but he didn’t say anything and only looked at him hatefully. Axel patted his shoulder with pity,

Her gaze lingered on the back of Axel. Lucien and Lumina, she wasn’t thinking of anything, actually, but her gaze on the three of them remained. Lumina was spending less and less time with her, but Sophia could see that she was spending more and more time with Axel in return.

She chuckled internally, falling in love does change people, after all, she knew that feeling all too well. Well, there was indeed something very weird about Axel; he was in many ways the same as her, they were both killers, even if he doesn’t accept it, it’s simply the truth. Considering how well Lumina got along with herself, I guess it somehow made sense that she would get along with Axel as well. Then fall in love with him.

She shook her head slightly and went on her way. She had training to do, instead of wasting time on thoughts like this. So, she went on her way. Axel, who was walking towards the engravement room with everyone else, again felt that familiar gaze on his back. He could instantly tell it was the gaze of Sophia; he didn’t know how, but he could tell. He wanted to turn back, but the gaze vanished in the next moment.

He glanced towards Lucien for a moment, but the guy seemed to be oblivious to it. He thought to himself, ’Aren’t dragons supposed to be sensitive to these things, or is it that a demon’s senses are better when it comes to this. No, maybe I’m asking the wrong question here. The valkyrie herself is the biggest mystery, even the story barely reveals anything about her. I mean it doesn’t even make sense that a mere human could have such superior prowess in every possible way, when they were supposed to be the weakest.’

They reached the engraving room, Axel opened the door with his magic card, and the others also entered. Lumina entered as the last one and closed the door behind her. Axel snickered internally, ’This cunning bastard. Of course, he figured it out.’

Everyone else smiled excitedly at that thought. Heinz also figured the same. Lumina and Vyra cheered in excitement, looking at each other. While Lumina herself was already a runecaster, her capability for that aspect wasn’t nearly as great as Axel’s.

All four of them gasped when they saw the weapons with their very own eyes. And the weapons, each, were simply breathtaking, to say the least.
