Chapter 264: Chapter 264: A Shocked Robert and an Excited Faye

After Aiden admitted that his understanding of the Force of Laws was only 3.678%, he saw Robert freeze up, looking like a statue.

"Sigh, it really is that low. My soul strength still isn’t high enough," Aiden muttered.

He still had Grudge Heart, a special item he’d never used.

Because his soul strength didn’t meet the requirement yet.

However, this time on the front-line battlefield, he’d taken down three Mythic Rank Demon geniuses. His accumulated experience points had reached an insane 3 billion!

Of course, 300 million of that came from Miles.

Thinking of Miles, Aiden slowly turned his head toward the side where the Azurecloud Empire team was standing.

He saw Liam standing in the corner of the crowd, shaking with fear, his face full of panic.

"So Goust is still asleep," Aiden thought to himself.

He couldn’t help but wonder: once Goust took over Liam’s body again and learned what had happened, would he completely break down?

Then Aiden slowly scanned the other genius contestants around him.

Some of them had already been captured by Demon geniuses and might end up like Liam.

But it wasn’t a big problem. Robert, a Level 99 Great Venerable, was still right there.

Just then, the stunned Robert finally snapped out of it. He swallowed hard, leaned forward slightly, and asked Aiden:

"What did you just say? Could you say it again?"

Aiden glanced at him with a puzzled expression and repeated, "It’s really low. My soul strength still isn’t high enough."

"Not that part!" Robert shook his head wildly. "The line before it!"

"I thought there’d be much more, but it turns out it’s only 3.678%?" Aiden paused, then repeated what he’d just said.

Instantly, Robert took several steps toward him, his face tight with panic.

"3.678% of what?" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Seeing Robert’s reaction, Aiden realized something was very wrong.

Why was Robert so shocked that his understanding of the Force of Laws had reached 3.678%?

Was this level actually high for all the contestants?

"Wait, spell it out for me!" Robert demanded before Aiden could answer. "Your understanding of the Dark Laws is 3.678%?"

Aiden nodded, confused. "Is that considered high? Are others only at 1% or 2%?"

"No, they’re all at 0%. You’re the only one who has actually grasped the Power of Dark Laws," Robert said, staring at Aiden as if he were some kind of monster.

To put it in perspective: Robert, a Level 99 Great Venerable himself, had only reached 97% understanding of the Water Laws and 98% of the Wood Laws.

Once someone’s understanding of a specific Force of Laws hits 100%, they can finally master it, and the divine ascension tribulation will begin.

An over-50-level Legendary Rank Magic Apprentice having grasped 3.678% of the Force of Laws? If anyone said that out loud, not a single Great Venerable or Venerable would believe them.

After all, many Reclassers who had just hit Level 90 and become Venerables still had 0% understanding of the Force of Laws.

"Do you realize," Robert said, his expression a mix of shock and awe, "that your understanding of the Force of Laws right now already surpasses many Level 90 Venerables?"

Robert had become a Level 99 Great Venerable because he’d been a top genius since youth.

But in this moment, he finally started to understand how ordinary Reclassers viewed true geniuses.

Robert glanced around at the other genius contestants. They were all buzzing with excitement over their Spirit attribute improvements.

They had no idea that Aiden, this monster, had not only sensed the Force of Laws but had grasped it to the tune of 3.678%!

Just then, Victor, who had been listening nearby, suddenly spoke up. "Lord Robert, is this ’Force of Laws’ mastery and understanding really that important?"

Robert took a deep breath, forcing a stiff smile. "Not really. Don’t worry too much about that. Just focus on getting stronger and leveling up fast. That’s what matters most."

He really didn’t want to crush the hopes of the other geniuses.

Could he really tell them that they’d only be able to do what Aiden was doing once they hit Level 90?

That would be too cruel. It might actually break some talented Reclassers.

Hearing Robert’s answer, Victor sighed with relief. He smiled at Aiden. "Captain, just you wait! I feel like my power is about to increase drastically soon. Make sure you don’t forget to fight me when that happens!"

Aiden nodded. "Sure, no problem. I’m waiting for you."

Victor was a teammate who had survived life-and-death battles with him. This small request was easily within his reach.

After hearing Aiden and Victor’s conversation, Robert took a deep breath, tensed his facial muscles, and tried hard not to laugh.

He gave Victor a look full of pity.

Victor was indeed a Mythic Rank genius Reclasser, but beating Aiden was nearly impossible unless Aiden went easy on him and didn’t show his true strength.

"Alright, everything’s wrapped up. You guys go rest for a bit. I have a few things to handle," Robert said quickly, glancing up at the sky in the distance.

He immediately flew off toward the city ruins where Aiden had been earlier.

The moment Robert left, Aiden, who had planned to take a quick rest, was suddenly swarmed by the surrounding genius contestants.

Several genius Reclassers from the Elephant Empire looked at Aiden with serious expressions. Without hesitation, they slowly bowed deeply to him and said solemnly:

"Thank you. Without you, not a single one of those Mythic Rank Demon geniuses would have died."

"Aiden, everything you did will be forever remembered by the people of the Elephant Empire."

"If there’s anything you need in the future, just say it. If I hesitate even once, I’m not a real man!"

For these talented Reclassers from the Elephant Empire, they feared death the least. What terrified them most was trying their absolute hardest yet still failing to slay those damned Demons.

So, when they learned that Aiden had killed three Mythic Rank Demon geniuses all by himself, they didn’t hesitate for a second to come and express their gratitude.

Seeing those sincere eyes, Aiden gently shook his head. "No need to thank me. I just did what I wanted to do. It’s just a pity... Raphael disappeared at the very last moment."

Thinking of that, Aiden’s mood sank just a little.

But there was nothing he could do. After all, a Demon God from the Abyss with unimaginable power had interfered in his battle.

All in all, Aiden had gained far more than he could have imagined from participating in this global Reclasser Exchange Tournament.

He had piles of Mythic Rank materials, plenty of Legendary Rank equipment, and even unlocked the powerful Divine Golden Sunflame skill.

Those golden flames burned at extreme temperatures, capable of melting enemy weapons and armor. Plus, once he found a Second Class Scroll and became a Forgemaster, it would be incredibly helpful.

Back in the military camp’s tent, Aiden didn’t hesitate for a second; he just lay down on the bed.

He was indeed feeling quite tired.

However, there was still one thing he needed to do.

After killing the Gnome Demon Beliar, he hadn’t had a moment to check what items dropped or what materials he had acquired.

First, he summoned Faye and pulled out several pieces of Mythic Rank material.

Faye’s golden eyes blinked frantically, and drool slipped uncontrollably from the corners of its mouth.

"This... this is Mythic Rank material! Waaah, Master, you’re so amazing!"

Saying that, Faye flapped its wings furiously and snatched the Mythic Rank materials right out of Aiden’s hands.

It opened its mouth, took a huge bite, and began chewing wildly.

"Waaah, it’s so delicious! Really, so delicious!"

"Faye has never tasted anything this good before! Master, you’re the best!"

"I’m going to love you to death! I’m so happy! I’m even tearing up!"

Aiden was caught between laughing and crying. He gently reached out, rubbed Faye’s head, and spoke softly.

"Eat slowly. There’s plenty more."

The Mythic Rank materials dropped by the three Mythic Rank Demon geniuses were enough to grant Faye food freedom for a long time.

Of course, Aiden hadn’t forgotten Dora.

He still owed Dora some materials.

Once he pulled out those Mythic Rank items, he wondered what Dora’s reaction would be.

Probably the same as Faye’s, right?

Then, Aiden started checking the log messages.

When Aiden saw the Legendary Rank bracelet dropped by Gnome Demon Beliar, his eyes lit up.

He could use this gear perfectly.

However, when he spotted the Abyss Heartspire auction invitation, curiosity struck him immediately.

"The Abyss Heartspire? What is that place?"

Aiden had entered the Abyss many times before, but mostly within Demon Clan territory.

Honestly, he didn’t know much about the Abyss itself.

But a strong hunch told him this invitation to the Abyss Heartspire Auction was no ordinary item!
