Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 617 - 643: Why is She in Such Pain
Wait, what kind of relationship does she have with him! Ugh, ugh, ugh!
Alice Conley secretly despised her own thoughts just now.
"No?" Dorian Howards raised an eyebrow, and his expression didn’t seem to be filled with goodwill.
"Yeah, no." She shrugged, clearly expressing that she was in a dire situation without chocolate.
"Then why don’t we discuss this at the dinner table later." Dorian suggested.
Alice Conley gritted her teeth, this guy was clearly threatening her! The most annoying thing was that she truly felt threatened by him.
If the chocolate issue really came up at the dinner table, the one embarrassed would definitely be her.
"Fine, it’s just chocolate, I’ll buy it for you tomorrow." Anyway, she thought she could buy a random Dove bar from the small shop in the neighborhood.
"It needs to be chosen with care, not some random supermarket brand, and the flavor must be one I like. Don’t try to fob me off with just any chocolate." He said, easily seeing through her initial plan.
Come on! How was she supposed to know what flavor of chocolate he liked when she’d never seen him eat chocolate!
"Dorian Howards, don’t push your luck, what’s wrong with Dove? It’s cheap, plentiful, and has a variety of flavors. Just pick one you like, and I’ll get it for you." She gritted her teeth and said.
He showed an expression as if he suddenly understood, "So you were planning to buy Dove for me."
"What, is that not okay?" She retorted.
He smiled and explained, "Look, your friend Mabel made handmade chocolates for Kyle. I’m already being considerate by asking you to buy a ready-made one, so don’t think about taking the easy way out."
After he finished speaking, he returned to the living room, leaving Alice Conley alone on the balcony, sulking in frustration at the air.

Daniel Harris brought Mabel Quinn back to the Harris estate, instructed the servant to change her into dry pajamas, and personally dried her wet hair while asking someone to summon the doctor at Harris Garden.
During this time, since his eyes were still in recovery, the Hospital had specially sent a doctor and a few nurses to temporarily stay at Harris Garden to monitor the condition of his eyes.
After examining Mabel Quinn, the doctor confirmed she was just unconscious with a slight fever from the rain but otherwise fine. Once she woke up, drinking more water should suffice.
Daniel Harris breathed a slight sigh of relief.
The doctor also reminded, "Mr. Harris, it seems you’ve also been rained on. It’s best to take a hot shower to prevent a cold or fever. You know, since you’re still in the recovery phase, any health problems now could affect the recovery of your eyes."
"I understand." Daniel Harris replied, his mind previously occupied with worry for Mabel and neglecting himself, only now taking the time to tend to his own needs.
After showering and changing into a fresh set of clothes, Daniel returned to the bedside, staring fixedly at the person on the bed. Even in unconsciousness, her brow was furrowed, her pale face appeared so fragile, her tightly closed eyes even seeped with tears.
What exactly had happened? Even in a coma, she was so uneasy and in so much pain.
Suddenly, in her unconscious state, she raised her hand abruptly, as if trying to grasp something, repeatedly grabbing at the air. He immediately grasped her hand, "Mabel, it’s okay, it’s okay, no matter what happens to you, I’ll help you."
