When Bai Qingya heard that she got a little stunned. She had asked that question as a farce since she just wanted to tease him, so she was not expecting a reply like that. "You really know about it?"

It was a little hard to believe but she did not want to doubt a person who was an unsolvable mystery himself.

Lin Feng gave a small nod. "I do."

Seeing Lin Feng’s expressionless face and the fact that he really did not have any reason to lie to her, Bai Qingya’s heartbeat escalated a little.

From her childhood she had wanted to know what really happened in the Central Region. Not only her, maybe the whole world wanted to know that, but to her it meant something quite different. Getting knowledge of something which had puzzled her for so long would be helpful in her cultivation.

Bai Qingya’s eyes widened when she heard the term dark phoenix. She knew about heavenly beasts which were unimaginably strong.

She looked at the darkness with a little apprehension now. If it really was the truth then it was quite terrifying. She did not understand how it only affected the Central Region.

Lin Feng on the other hand was a little surprised. He was quite sure that she had believed him. That meant she did not doubt him at all even though what he said was quite impossible to believe. "Interesting."

Bai Qingya came out of her stupor and looked at him. "What?"

Lin Feng gave an amused smile. "I thought you would be a little skeptical after hearing that, but you did not show any kind of doubt, Senior Bai."

Bai Qingya shook her head with a small smile. "For me, I would rather believe you than believe all the assumptions. Maybe you are really lying but sooner or later I will understand if it was the truth or not."

Lin Feng got a knowing expression when he heard that. "Ah yes, you will get insights if it really was the truth."

Bai Qingya’s lips curled up further. "You really have a deep understanding of my cultivation technique."

In the end she used the Dao bone to block the attack which shattered and tore the fabric of space in the Central Region, capturing most of the darkness inside or else the whole world might have been destroyed by the darkness. This is what transpired here, Senior Bai."

Bai Qingya’s eyes widened as she heard everything. Suddenly she felt a strange clarity in her mind and her qi began circulating on its own.

She felt a large amount of qi absorbing into her body before it slowly stopped. She was only a few steps away from her next Tribulation.

She sighed inwardly. This meant whatever Lin Feng had told her was the truth and she had finally known the real reason for the destruction of the Central Region.

It was really beyond any assumption humans had made till now. Who would have thought that the whole region was destroyed by just an unfortunate chain of events.

There was one thing which she picked up from Lin Feng’s words which made her quite confused though. "Daoist Lin, you are very certain about the fact that the Ice Phoenix was a female. How did you come to know of that?"

She also wanted to ask about how he really found out about the truth but she did not know if it was appropriate to ask so many questions to him.

"Indeed I am certain that the Ice Phoenix was a female. After all I have met her in person. Now do not ask me how, when and where, or you can ask me that, but that will be equivalent to me paying my debt to you. It is your choice, Senior Bai."
